Ford Just Brought Back the Coolest Bronco Color

, and you can bet Ford is celebrating. Over the weekend, it announced a 60th Anniversary Package for the Bronco, which gets all sorts of neat details and all the off-road features you want standard.
The 60th Anniversary Package is based on the mid-tier Bronco Outer Banks and it gets the Sasquatch package as standard, which includes 35-inch Goodyear tires, automatic four-wheel drive, front and rear locking differentials, and a unique final drive. You can have the 60th Anniversary Package with either the standard 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or the upgrade 2.7-liter V-6.

Ford also brought back one of the original Bronco's 1966 colors, Wimbledon White. The 60th Anniversary Package pairs this with Vermillion Red accents, including a stripe at the bottom of the doors, and wheel center caps meant to evoke the red locking hubs on the original Bronco. Buyers can also go for a Ruby Red body with a contrasting Wimbledon White roof.
Inside, the seats are trimmed in black and white leather with the 60th-anniversary logo embossed into the backrest. There are other red accents throughout, and a unique plaque on the center console. The Bronco 60th Anniversary Package also gets new grab handles on the A-pillars, which are available for all 2026 Bronco models.
Ford says it will announce pricing for the 60th Anniversary Package closer to the truck's October on-sale date. For reference, a 2025 Bronco Outer Banks with the Sasquatch package starts at $57,095 before any of Ford's employee-pricing discounts.

Here's the thing: It might be worth it. Both Jerry and I have driven this thing. At risk of coming off like the elder millennial that I am, I have to admit that it borders on sublime. The brap-brap of the turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer is peak WRC nostalgia, and everything about the chassis and suspension feels beautifully dialed in. Sure, the WRX and STI (RIP) were always traditionally marketed as street-going rally cars, but in the P25's case, it's far closer to the literal truth. Set aside the raw power figure for a second, because it's really the least-interesting figure on the P25's spec sheet. Let's start on the other side of the equation. Thanks to its extensive use of carbon fiber and other weight-saving materials, the P25 weighs just 2,500 pounds. That's 5.6 pounds per horsepower—50% leaner than a C8 Corvette. There's no manual gearbox, because that's not what the rally cars used. Yep, this sucker has a sequential. It's a bit strange to use coming from a traditional automatic (or even the typical street-car sequential) gearbox, but hey, race car! The example Jerry and I got to sling around Milford was fitted with standard buckets and three-point seat belts, along with a somewhat subdued set of wheels. This buyer sprung for the optional racing-style seats and Schroth harnesses, plus the throwback gold wheels. Yep, that's exactly how I'd buy it. This Is the No. 1 U.S. State for a Road Trip Thanks to Its Safety, Low Congestion, and Pancake-flat Highways
If you love a good road trip, then chances are you're always plotting out your next route and all the exciting things you get to pull over and see along the way. But before you go, you should know that some states are better than others to drive through on your getaway. And if you hate traffic, you may want to stay on the mainland. In January, WalletHub released its data analyzing the best and worst states to drive through in the U.S. To figure out which states have the best commuting conditions, it compared all states across four key metrics: the cost of owning and maintaining a car (which included the average price of gas), the average traffic patterns and infrastructure, road safety, and access to vehicles. Each metric was then graded on a 100-point scale, and each state was given a weighted average to calculate its overall score. After looking at all that information, it named Kansas the best state for driving. "Kansas is the best state for drivers, due in large part to the quality and safety of its roads," the findings stated. It added that the state also scored the third-highest for road quality in the U.S. and added that the roads are 'flatter than a pancake' for added safety. "Kansas has the sixth-most roadway miles per capita in the country, yet its residents enjoy the seventh-lowest average commute time by car, at just over 20 minutes," it added. "That suggests that while the population may be spread out, people tend to live close to their jobs and don't get stuck in traffic often. Since Kansas has a small population and lots of farmland, it makes sense that it has the seventh-lowest traffic congestion rate, too." Joining Kansas at the top of the list is Idaho in second due to the "success it's had in decreasing deaths on the road. Between 2021 and 2022 (the most recent years for which data is available), the state's traffic fatality rate decreased by nearly 20 percent, the highest percentage in the country," the findings stated. Idaho also has the fifth-lowest prevalence of speeding and the fourth-lowest prevalence of harsh braking, making it a pretty safe place for driving. And rounding out the top three spots is Indiana, which has the second-best road quality and the ninth-lowest traffic congestion in the nation. "It also takes road safety very seriously, with the fourth-strictest driving laws. These factors have helped improve driving conditions in the state, with traffic fatalities declining by nearly 17 percent between 2021 and 2022, the third-highest percentage," WalletHub noted.
