The Voice Australia fans react with fury over 'criminal' decision from Seven bosses as the new season premieres
British former Spice Girls singer Mel C joins UK singer Ronan Keating and American crooner Richard Marx this year.
The only Aussie on the panel is Kate Miller-Heidke, who is also the only judge to return from the 2024 season.
Last year's coaches Adam Lambert, Guy Sebastian, and LeAnn Rimes have all departed the series in favour of a fresh line-up.
However, not everyone was impressed with the changes, with several fans of the show sharing their concerns about the lack of Australians represented on the judging panel.
'It will take a few days maybe to warm up to these judges. Sorry to say, last year's season was fun to watch,' one person wrote on X.
'Missed opportunity not getting Shannon Noll as a coach… having one Aussie coach is criminal,' someone else said.
'Given there's only one Aussie judge this year, I'm guessing the judges were picked by Albo's Labor Party,' one more posted.
'Just tuned in... only one in four judges is Aussie, that sucks,' yet another viewer chimed in.
'No offence… but I feel like the quality of Aussie reality TV has gone down… I wasn't wowed like past seasons… usually the premiere gets me hooked,' one more said.
'Does anyone even care about #TheVoiceAU ??? How low down the list of potential judges did they have to go to get Richard Marx?' said someone else.
'This show is missing Guy Sebastian and Jess Mauboy and a bit of drama…' one more wrote, referring to judges from earlier seasons.
Others liked what they saw, with one person commenting: 'Actually Richard Marx is probably one of the biggest names to ever join #TheVoiceAU team as a judge.'

Guy Sebastian sensationally quit The Voice Australia last year.
The Australian Idol winner shared the lengthy shock announcement on Instagram across several black and white slides.
He began by congratulating the 2024 winner, Reuben De Melo, before detailing how he came to his dramatic decision.
'I have some news to share with you all regarding my role as a Voice coach,' he began.
'I have made the decision to take a break from the best red chair on the planet,' Guy continued.
'It's been six amazing years as a coach and it's honestly been the best gig ever!
'I have nothing but good things to say about the show itself, and sharing the panel with such amazing coaches has been a pleasure.'

Football Manager 26 gets a reveal trailer – here's everything to know so far
Football Manager 26 has finally been teased by Sports Interactive after months of silence. The game returns after a shock hiatus, as Football Manager 25 was cancelled by the developer in February earlier this year due to development delays. However, the studio has since shared a 30-second video revealing the new game. – With commentary from Peter Drury, it offered a very first glimpse at the brand new in-game engine, now powered by Unity. On top of that, we got a look at the official Premier League license, included for the very first time in the series. That means all the official PL teams, players, kits and more will be available in the upcoming game. The video finishes with a message saying "guess who's back" along with a first look at the Football Manager 26 logo. A match day first look is coming soon, but for now, here's a look at everything we know so far about Football Manager 26. For the uninitiated, the game - unsurprisingly - lets you become a football manager, taking minnows from the depths of the footballing pyramid to the Premier League and beyond. Details are thin on the ground, but Football Manager 26 will have all of the updated teams from the 2025/26 season in the leagues it covers around the world. The Premier League license is included in the game for the first time, meaning that all 20 of the official teams will be represented, including kits, logos, player photos and more. The game engine is moving to Unity, and delays in this move are why Football Manager 25 was cancelled back in February. The new match engine seems to offer the game's best-ever graphics. As in previous years, it's likely that Sports Interactive will add a handful of new teams, but this has not yet been confirmed. Can I pre-order Football Manager 26? Football Manager 26 is not yet available to pre-order. Availability usually coincides with the annoucment of a release date. Which platforms can I play Football Manager 26 on? Previous Football Manager titles have been playable across PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and mobile. The full, traditional game is usually available on PC and Mac. A console-optimised version is usually available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with Touch usually releasing on Nintendo Switch consoles, tablets and mobile. There's also a dedicated mobile game that requires a Netflix subscription to play. Details about Football Manager 26 Console, Touch and Mobile are not yet known. The release date for Football Manager 26 is currently unknown, but usually, the games release in October or November, with Football Manager 2024, the last entry, releasing in November 2023. But on Thursday she sent sent shockwaves through the music industry and her fanbase with a huge change in tack as she revealed the sexy cover for her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl - one of which showed her posing provocatively as she bit her finger. She confirmed that the album will be released on October 3 - just over a year and a half after the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, while appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce 's New Heights podcast. The fiercely private star gave an unprecedented look into her relationship in her most personal interview to date as they packed on the PDA while sat next to each other. In the cover Swift flashed the flesh in a skimpy green jeweled bodysuit while submerged in water in what appeared to be a bathtub. Another shot saw her in a very revealing silver outfit with feathers and headgear as she flaunted her gym-honed physique. It is in stark contrast to her some of her previous aesthetics for slow albums like folklore and evermore - as fans are now anticipating the 'next pop album' with her new upcoming offering. Taylor could possibly be taking inspiration from the recent more raunchy pop stars of recent years including her collaborator on the album Sabrina Carpenter. Sabrina, 26, appears on the new album on track 12 and has worked with Taylor on the Eras Tour as her support act. The star has raised eyebrows with her live shows in the past year, performing sex positions on stage and writing very raunchy lyrics. In another unprecedented element of the new album reveal, she spoke in her most open and personal interview ever with Travis on the podcast. She revealed the album's official 12-song track list, confirming the inclusion of the song, Ruin The Friendship, which fans are convinced is a Blake Lively diss track. The album covers were captured by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who she last worked with on the album artwork for 2017's Reputation. 'I loved what they did with those photos, so I called them up for [this album],' she shared on Kelce's New Heights podcast. 'I am so happy with the way the photos came out with this one.' Swift said she wanted to go 'all out' on the imagery for The Life Of A Showgirl because she is 'so proud' of the music. 'This is a full send. I care about this record more than I can even overstate.' Swift revealed that the album cover is meant to depict what the 'end of [her] night' looks like on tour, 'My day ends with me in a bathtub — not usually in a bedazzled dress — but we try to keep it decent,' Swift joked. 'I wanted to glamorize all the different aspects of how [the Eras Tour] felt and [the The Life Of A Showgirl cover] is how that felt at the end of the night.' Swift said she chose that image because it best represents the album, which centers around the feelings and experiences in her 'offstage' life. During the sit-down with Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, Swift recalled how her boyfriend first got her attention, when he attended one of her Eras Tour concerts in July 2023. 'It didn't happen' Jason chimed in, as both Travis and Taylor laughed. 'And he didn't even look at me... I now know what an insane question that was.
