Retail investors gain first-of-its-kind on ‑ chain access to early ‑ stage private equity in nuclear micro ‑ reactors
PANAMA CITY, Panama and REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., July 20, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In a release issued under the same headline on July 19, 2025 by Common Wealth, please note that the boilerplate for Hadron Energy was incorrect. The corrected release follows:
WLTH, the alternative investments platform operated by Common Wealth (wlth.xyz), today announced that it will next week launch its inaugural tokenised private ‑ equity opportunity :: Hadron Energy , a California‑based micro‑modular reactor innovator.
The launch is believed to be the first time a blockchain‑native platform offers retail investors worldwide the ability to purchase fractionalised equity tokens in a private company in this manner. Existing initiatives from established asset managers (e.g., Hamilton Lane/Republic) have remain extremely gated, positioning WLTH at the forefront of democratised access to private markets.

( , ) Illustrative exit scenario: If Hadron successfully licenses its first-of-a-kind reactor and secures large power‑purchase agreements, peer benchmarks suggest a potential multi‑billion‑dollar valuation. A retail 'Slice' bought for US$20 today could theoretically be worth US$600–9,000+ under ideal conditions — though returns are not guaranteed and capital is at risk.

Mosaic Insurance unveils new coverage for digital asset sector

Mosaic Insurance has introduced a new product suite targeting the digital asset market, combining cyber and financial institutions (FI) crime coverage to address the needs of this industry. The offering provides tailored protection for businesses navigating complex risks in a sector that has often faced limited insurance options, said Mosaic. Mosaic has partnered with Native, a specialist broker in digital assets, to support the launch. Through the Native Risk Collective, businesses that adopt approved vendors and services to enhance their risk profile can access improved coverage terms and more competitive premiums. The modular suite delivers stand-alone or integrated coverage for cyber, technology errors and omissions (E&O), and crime risks. It offers up to £/$/€10m in capacity for cyber and tech exposures and up to £/$/€5m for crime exposures, the insurer said. Mosaic cyber global head Brian Bonkoski said: 'Mosaic is bringing the first comprehensive Lloyd's A+-rated cyber, tech E&O and crime capacity to the digital asset space – it is a true differentiator, delivering a level of trust and financial strength that has been lacking in this space. 'With global regulatory licences and underwriting hubs in London, the US, Bermuda, Canada, Europe, Dubai, and Singapore, we offer seamless coverage to clients, regardless of domicile or the jurisdictions they serve.' Underwritten through Mosaic's global agency network on behalf of its Lloyd's Syndicate 1609, the product is said to be supported by its A+-rated global carrier partners. Designed to serve a wide range of digital asset businesses, the solution caters to entities such as blockchain analytics companies, custodians, exchanges, exchange-traded funds structures, miners, real-world asset platforms, trading platforms and wallet providers. These companies have historically encountered challenges in securing comprehensive coverage due to perceived market volatility or regulatory uncertainties, stated Mosaic. The product mirrors the line sizes and policy structures available to Mosaic's non-digital asset clients, providing seamless cyber, tech and crime coverage through a single underwriting platform to eliminate common coverage gaps. Mosaic cyber underwriter vice-president Kieran Quigley said: 'Digital asset clients have long needed insurance that understands their risks, offers meaningful capacity and brings a long-term view. 'We have listened to clients and brokers and built solutions that reflect the ambition and growing sophistication of this space. We are proud to support innovators driving the next wave of global economic change.' Cyber and financial institutions liability represent two of Mosaic's seven specialty business lines, alongside environmental liability, transactional liability, political risk, political violence and professional liability. "Mosaic Insurance unveils new coverage for digital asset sector" was originally created and published by Life Insurance International, a GlobalData owned brand. Albertsons and unions reach tentative agreement

US food and drug retailer Albertsons Companies, the holding company for Safeway and Vons supermarkets, has reached a tentative agreement with UFCW 8-Golden State, in collaboration with UFCW Locals 5 and 648. The proposed contract aims to enhance economic stability, health benefits and pension provisions for 25,000 employees of Albertsons, Safeway and Vons. It encompasses significant wage raises, a strengthened and secure retirement plan, adequately funded health care benefits and robust job protection clauses to foster a safer and more respectful workplace. UFCW 8-Golden State president Jacques Loveall stated: 'This agreement is the result of our members standing strong together. Because of their unity and determination, this new agreement will bring them the respect and dignity they deserve. 'These workers are more than the backbone of these companies — they are part of the fabric of our communities, and their efforts drive our shared success.' The tentative deal is the result of five months of negotiations, which escalated to continuous talks in the final stretch and included a looming strike threat by grocery workers from the Grapevine region to the Oregon border. Failure to reach a deal would have led to the first strike against Albertsons and its subsidiaries Safeway and Vons in northern and central California in three decades. The unions stated: 'We're deeply grateful to the customers we serve for their unwavering support. Your encouragement gave our members strength, resolve and the confidence to stand united. We were never alone, thanks to you.' UFCW 8-Golden State members employed at Albertsons and Vons stores in Kern, Inyo and Mono counties are also covered by a new provisional agreement. "Albertsons and unions reach tentative agreement" was originally created and published by Retail Insight Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
