In honor of Hamilton's 10th anniversary, the original cast members—including , Phillipa Soo, , , Daveed Diggs, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan and Christopher Jackson—came together for an unforgettable performance at the 2025 Tonys.
Other OG Hamilton stars at the Tonys included: Ariana DeBose, Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Alysha Deslorieux, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell,Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Javier Muñoz, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes and Voltaire Wade-Greene.
The original Hamilton cast members delivered an epic performance of a medley of songs from the hit show—including "Nonstop," "My Shot," "The Schuyler Sisters," "Guns and Ships," "You'll Be Back," "The Room Where It Happens," "Satisfied," and more.
Broadway enthusiasts who weren't in the "room where it happened" took to X to share their reactions. And they didn't hold back with their excitement and nostalgia.
One fan declared, "It's crazy how the first notes played and I got the biggest damn smile on my face. Oh, Hamilton! #Tonys."
Another exclaimed, "I remember watching Hamilton at the Tonys nine years ago and here I am now. I feel old."
Someone else echoed, "Hamilton being 10 years old makes me feel so old like omg I might as well retire #tonys."
A different X user wrote, "HAMILTON AT THE TONYS IM SCREAMING."
However, may thought Anthony Ramos was missing from the performance—and viewers couldn't help but wonder why.
One fan pointed out, "Wait. Anthony Ramos is there but wasn't included in the Hamilton reunion??"
Another echoed, "Anthony Ramos not getting a special moment in the Hamilton reunion is so sjdjfjfjfg."
"Yet another fan promised, "Anthony Ramos i will never forgive u for showing up to the tony awards and not participating in the Hamilton performance YOUR MISSING PRESENCE WAS NOTICED."
However, fans finally did spot him after a re-watch or two, and some still weren't pleased.
One X user complained, "Anthony Ramos actually showing up for the Hamilton performance just to be constantly cut out of frame and the only man with a main role without a solo… omg."
Another agreed, writing, "Ariana DeBose getting more screen time as the Bullet than Anthony Ramos is dastardly. Levels of pettiness from the Hamilton team perhaps never before seen on TV."
In 2016, Hamilton snagged a record-breaking 16 Tony nominations, winning 11 of them, including the nod for Best Musical.
The Tony Awards kicked off at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and will be available to stream the following day on Paramount+.

The video game actors' strike may be over soon
American Screen Actors Guild members have reached a 'tentative' contract agreement with major gaming companies that could potentially end the 11-month-long video game actors' strike. SAG-AFTRA announced the tentative contract on Monday without specifying terms or protections for performers. The strike began on July 26th, 2024, after the union and a bargaining committee of video game companies — including Activision, Epic Games, EA, Disney Character Voices, Take-Two, Insomniac Games, WB Games, and others — failed to agree on worker protections around AI. 'It is expected the terms of a strike suspension agreement will be finalized with employers soon,' SAG-AFTRA announced. 'Until such agreement is reached, however, SAG-AFTRA members will remain on strike against these employers.' The contract is subject to approval by the SAG-AFTRA national board and is expected to be put to a ratification vote with union members 'in the coming weeks.' If all goes well, the lengthy list of restrictions preventing SAG-AFTRA's approximately 160,000 members from undertaking video game projects will be lifted, alleviating some development headaches for new titles. 'Everyone at SAG-AFTRA is immensely grateful for the sacrifices made by video game performers and the dedication of the Interactive Media Agreement Negotiating Committee throughout these many months of the video game strike,' SAG-AFTRA's Chief Negotiator, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, said in the announcement. 'Patience and persistence has resulted in a deal that puts in place the necessary AI guardrails that defend performers' livelihoods in the AI age, alongside other important gains.'

My Least Favorite Trend to Come Out of Pride This Year? Old-School Biphobia
Like any member of the LGBTQ+ community, I love nothing more than a good gay joke. When I identified as a lesbian, my stock-in-trade was Subaru bits (hacky, yes, but I did actually own one…until I crashed it); and once I came out as bi, I found my way to comfort within my new sexual identity by trading bits with other bisexuals about wearing Doc Martens, sitting backwards in chairs, and whatever the hell else it is that we allegedly do besides, you know, being open to dating people of all genders. All this is to say that it's not easy to offend me when it comes to intra-community gay joshing. But some of the jokes—and, worse, genuine expressions of outrage—that I've seen about queer celebrities JoJo Siwa and Billie Eilish lately have been genuinely infuriating. The gay rumor mill has been churning out a lot of gossip about Siwa allegedly dumping her nonbinary partner Kath Ebbs for her Celebrity Big Brother costar Chris Hughes, and now that Eilish has been spotted making out with actor Nat Wolff, a longtime friend of hers, it seems that absolutely everyone has an opinion on what these two very young, sexually fluid celebrities should be doing with their dating lives. Look, I was as excited as the next queer she/they when Siwa came out in 2021, and I rejoiced when Eilish sang about wanting to 'eat that girl for lunch.' Do I understand why it might feel mildly disappointing to see Siwa and Eilish out and about with cishet men? Sure! I've had enough crushes on bi girls who ended up choosing guys over me to fill a whole back catalog of Chappell Roan songs. But the social media (and IRL) discourse suggesting that Siwa and Eilish are doing something wrong—instead of embracing the concept that a couple of 20-somethings might be…gasp…attracted to people of different genders—also rubs me the wrong way as someone building a life with a trans man. The narrative that the only 'real' way to fulfill one's expectations as a queer woman is by dating people who share your gender identity is not just narrow-minded; it's an act of old-fashioned bi erasure. Bisexuality can mean anything we want it to (emphasis on 'we,' as in the actual bisexual community), and I choose to interpret it as—in the words of my friend Haley Jakobson—'horny for gender expansiveness.' I might be of gay-crone age compared to Siwa and Eilish, but I've lived enough queer life to know that my coming-out process may not be over. I could find myself identifying as a lesbian again someday, or as genderqueer, or as something else entirely, and I won't be any less gay or less valid for it. All I want this Pride is for that same grace to be extended to Siwa, Eilish, and the many, many queer people whose identities can't necessarily be distilled to a single word—or an individual partner.

Blake Lively
Skip to main content June 10, 2025 All products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors. However, we may receive compensation from retailers and/or from purchases of products through these links. Last night, Blake Lively joined the likes of Robert DeNiro, Jon Hamm, and Sofia Coppola in celebrating Chanel's 18th annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner. It should come as no surprise that The Odeon was overflowing with celebrities in head-to-toe Chanel, but Lively's look gave us plenty of summer inspiration. Lively opted for a sweet interpretation of the sheer trend in a white lace midi-length dress. The empire-waisted dress featured white florals across the bust, while the body was fashioned in a hole-ridden crochet with specs of an eclectic accessorizer, Lively added several ancillary pieces to accompany her summery dress. Along with her heap of shimmering earrings and rings, she added a pair of bejeweled sandals with an ankle strap. Over her shoulders, Lively draped a blue chore jacket with a white collar and cuffs. But the real pièce de résistance was Lively's bag: a Chanel Scarab Minaudière from the house's 2019 Métiers d'Art show in Egypt. (The bag was previously sold on 1stDibs for $30,000; another is currently listed for over $51,000.)
