The internet is abuzz with stories about Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher's marriage. The veteran actor, currently promoting his film Tanvi The Great, recently opened up about the realities of married life in today's fast-paced world. Interestingly, this is not the first marriage for either of them. Anupam Kher was previously married to actress Madhumalti Kapoor, known for films like De De Pyaar De and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, while Kirron Kher was earlier married to Gautam Berry. Who was Gautam Berry?
Kirron Kher, who grew up in Chandigarh in a Punjabi family, met Gautam Berry during a play. They were both involved in the theatre scene in Chandigarh. The two fell in love and got married in 1979. Kirron and Gautam later moved to Mumbai, and she was then known as Kirron Berry. While Kirron began working in films, Gautam was a millionaire businessman with a keen interest in movies. He is also the father of Sikandar Kher. Things didn't work out well between them and they headed for divorce after six years of marriage in 1985.
Gautam Berry was good friends with Amitabh Bachchan and in fact, had been Ajitabh Bachchan's roommate in Mumbai in 1969. Berry was also a partner in Big B's film company Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL). Therefore, Sikandar is best buddies with Abhishek Bachchan.
Gautam Berry passed away in 2013 due to heart attack and Anupam Kher tweeted about him saying. 'He was a good man'. How did Kirron Kher meet Anupam Kher?
When Kirron moved to Mumbai with Gautam, she met Anupam Kher. Both of them had a tough time at home as their partners didn't understand them. In an interview with Shubhankar Mishram, Anupam shared, 'I wasn't married; Kirron was married, and we were best friends for 12 years. She was my senior in college. She was a star—she was first in her class, the best actress, and an India-level badminton player.'
Anupam once mentioned that their relationship started as a solid friendship, which later turned to love when both of them were in bad relationships. He said in an interview, 'When she was going through a tough time in her marriage, and I was going through a bad relationship—after the girl I was with had ditched me- Kirron and I fell in love and got married.'

Colonel Sophia Qureshi, a high-ranking officer in the Indian Army's Corps of Signals, led media briefings, keeping the nation informed and composed during the tense period. Who is Colonel Sophia Qureshi? Sophia isn't just another officer in uniform. She made history as the first Indian woman to lead a military contingent at an international exercise. What's 'Tanvi the Great' and how is it connected? Kher's film, Tanvi the Great, which tells the story of a young girl fighting against all odds to chase her dreams, has just been granted tax-free status in Delhi, following its earlier declaration as tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. Sharing the update, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on social platform X, ' I am pleased to share that the Delhi Government has declared the film 'Tanvi the Great' tax-free in the state. With an impactful narrative of inclusion, the film is an inspiring story of a young, 'special' girl-Tanvi, who is determined to achieve her dreams against all odds. Tanvi's story is emotional and inspirational. We are committed to promoting films that strengthen the spirit of Rashtra Seva, ignites patriotism, and awakens the conscience of the nation. Sometimes it's in uniform, other times in the cinema. But both spark something real: pride, purpose, and power.

South park it there, you can't get free-er

Say what you will about the US, but there's something that is awesome about its idea of freedom: Trey Parker and Matt Stone's animated sitcom South Park 's merciless roast of the American president would be unthinkable in uncle-aunty countries. Even as Trump is seething at depictions of him in bed with Satan and an AI-generated sequence of him getting butt naked in a desert, no one has been tossed into a dungeon. At worst, South Park's parent company Paramount, which signed a $1.5 bn 5-year deal with the creators of the subversive show, will cut its losses after this expensive joke in the form of its new season opener, 'Sermon on the Mount'.The latest episode didn't just poke the presidential bear - it dressed him as a toddler, and sent him on a parade of absurdity so brutal it made stand-up satire look like polite gossip. And, yet, no censorship, no exile, no mysterious disappearance of Parker and Stone. Just outrage, applause, and thoughts about how fat the silver lining still is even in India-emulating Trumpland. You've got to admire a country where mockery isn't just tolerated, it's monetised. It's a celebration of critique and creative combustion. South Park is America's sweaty, profane love letter to liberty - proof that in a truly democratic society, even the most powerful person is fair game for fart jokes and genital takedowns.

IND vs ENG: Ben Stokes trolled hilariously after India reject England's offer for draw; memes break internet

England skipper Ben Stokes (Photo by) The final day of the fourth Test between India and England at Old Trafford delivered an unexpected twist, and the internet loved every bit of it. With India cruising at 386/4, leading by 75 runs, England skipper Ben Stokes casually walked up to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar and offered a handshake to draw the match. But instead of wrapping things up, the Indian duo politely declined, and social media erupted. At that point, Jadeja was on 89 not out and Sundar on 80 not out, both eyeing well-deserved centuries after dragging India from 0/2 to safety with a 150-run unbeaten partnership. He shook his head, muttered a few words, and walked away, bemused and slightly miffed. Fans online instantly picked up on the awkwardness. Memes featuring Stokes's confused expression. Stokes responded by bringing Harry Brook on to bowl, and Jadeja, in poetic fashion, lofted him for six to complete his hundred, his third in Tests. It was cricketing theatre, wrapped in grace, grit, and a bit of petty spice. Sundar also completed his maiden Test ton before the match was eventually drawn. Post-match, Shubman Gill backed the decision: 'It was up to the boys, but we felt they batted brilliantly. Both of them were in their 90s, and we believed they deserved to get to their centuries.' For a team that's drawn just two of 40 Tests under the Stokes-McCullum regime, this was unfamiliar territory and perhaps why emotions boiled over. But for fans, it was vintage Test cricket : dramatic, tense, and unexpectedly hilarious. All eyes now turn to the series decider at The Oval.
