Yemen's Millions reaffirm no tolerance for crime of genocide, starvation against their Brothers in Gaza

As Israeli crimes intensify, pushing deeper into acts of genocide and death by starvation against Palestinians, public outrage continues to surge across Yemen. Massive popular rallies are growing in size and resolve, expressing unwavering solidarity and full readiness to fulfill the duty of jihad against the brutal Zionist enemy and to stand by Gaza's just cause.
The millions-strong Yemeni crowds renewed their condemnation of the disgraceful silence and betrayal by Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the denial of food, water, and medicine to Palestinians in Gaza—where children and women have become victims of prolonged starvation and the ongoing Israeli siege, now approaching 22 months.
Under the slogan 'We Will Not Tolerate the Genocide in Gaza and the Desecration of the Nation and Its Sanctities,' Yemenis marched in massive numbers in the capital Sana'a and various governorates—scenes unique to the land of faith and wisdom—to affirm their readiness to fight alongside their Palestinian brothers, shoulder to shoulder, and to make sacrifices in solidarity with an unprecedented historical injustice.
Participants demanded that neighboring client regimes—which have abdicated their responsibility to break the Israeli siege—open pathways for fighters eager to confront the Zionist enemy directly.
In Sana'a, the million-strong rally in Al-Sabeen Square renewed its pledge to remain steadfast with the oppressed Palestinian people, respond to the cries of Gaza's hungry, and reject the crimes of genocide and starvation. The crowd declared a state of alert and full preparedness for the 'Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad,' expressing readiness to fight in Gaza and confront the enemy.
They called for passageways to be opened so Yemenis could join the fight in Gaza and Palestine, deeming this a decisive battle for the entire nation. They also denounced the ongoing silence and inaction of Arab and Islamic governments in the face of genocide and starvation inflicted on Palestinians in Gaza.
The crowds endorsed the statement of the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, regarding the consideration of escalatory options to deter the Zionist enemy. They reaffirmed their full support and authorization for any measures he deems necessary to halt the aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.
The crowds also praised the legendary resilience and heroic operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime, which continues to destroy life and kill children and women through starvation, siege, and bombing.
They called on Arab and Muslim nations to break out of their silence and disgrace and rise in support of their brothers dying from hunger and thirst in Gaza—rejecting both the so-called 'Deal of the Century' and the continued desecration of the Islamic nation and its sanctities. They emphasized ongoing boycotts of American and Israeli products as an effective weapon against the enemy.
During the mass march in the capital, Yemen's Grand Mufti, Allama Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, commended the stances of free-minded scholars who fulfilled their duty and affirmed the obligation of jihad in support of the Palestinian people.
He reminded scholars—especially those in neighboring countries surrounding Gaza—of their moral and religious obligations to the besieged and starved people of Palestine. He criticized those who excuse inaction by citing obedience to unjust rulers who violate God's laws and the Prophet's teachings.
'Allama Sharaf al-Din asked: 'Where is the mercy, where is the compassion, where is the dignity and honor for your starving brothers whom you watch dying daily without lifting a finger?'' He stressed that the responsibility on these scholars is greater, but all Islamic nations, even those far away, are equally accountable before God for supporting the Palestinian people.
In Sa'ada Governorate, 39 mass rallies were held across the province and its districts to reaffirm solidarity with Gaza and rejection of the ongoing crimes of genocide and starvation.
Participants in Sa'ada marches warned that the Arab and Islamic world's betrayal of Gaza will bring divine wrath in this world and the next. They reiterated their readiness to carry out any directive from Sayyed Abdul-Malik in support of the Palestinian cause and their willingness to go to Gaza should regional countries open a route.
People of Sa'ada vowed not to remain silent in the face of Gaza's suffering and condemned the shameful stance of the Arab and Islamic world toward Israel's starvation war.
Meanwhile, 252 public squares in urban and rural parts of Al-Hudaydah Governorate were packed with unprecedented crowds, raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting against genocide, and vowing to stand firm against the joint Zionist-American agenda in the region.
The crowds declared that Arab and international complicity in the genocide of the Palestinian people constitutes a resounding moral collapse. They held the U.S. and its regional allies fully responsible for the crimes committed by Israel—including starvation, thirst, bombardment, and targeted killings—citing the political and military cover provided by Washington.
Hudaydah residents called for general mobilization across Arab and Islamic nations to break the siege and save the starving, warning that the consequences of continued silence will not stop at Gaza.
Similar scenes played out across the governorates of Sana'a, Al-Dhalea, Al-Mahwit, Hajjah, Ibb, Al-Bayda, Raymah, Taiz, Marib, Amran, Dhamar, Lahj, and Al-Jawf, where tens and hundreds of thousands took to the streets in rallies and protests—denouncing Israeli crimes, voicing support for Gaza, blessing Yemen's military strikes against Israeli-linked targets, and declaring readiness for war and jihad.
Each governorate echoed the same themes: that the cause of Palestine remains central to the Yemeni people; that they are ready for sacrifice; that they endorse all decisions of their leadership to confront Israel; and that they hold America and Israel, along with Arab regimes, responsible for the bloodshed in Gaza.
