20 Of The Flyest Coats From Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter World Tour

Yahoo18-07-2025
Beyoncé, as usual, is turning heads while on the road for her Cowboy Carter World Tour. With stunning outfits taking over our timelines every time she hits a new city, it's almost overwhelming how much work she and stylists Shiona Turini, Karen Langley, and Ty Hunter have put into the trek.
With themes of Americana running throughout, fans have been treated to countless looks highlighting Bey's all-American roots, as well as her usual staples of form-fitting bodysuits and plenty of sequins. This time around, however, the singer's coats have grasped the fans' attention more than any other specific look. The coats add drama to the performer's already high-energy show, providing even more umph to 'fits that stand strong on their own.
One coat in particular, designed by Burberry and featuring a large American Eagle emblem on the back, seems to be Bey's favorite, as she's worn it multiple times compared to others that — thus far — have been one and done. All of them, however, are striking in design and perfect for making a lasting impression from the front row to the cheap seats, affectionately known as the 'II Hands II Heaven' section.
Check out 20 of Bey's best coats from the Cowboy Carter tour below, and keep an eye out for our ranking of every single look after the tour wraps up in Las Vegas on July 26.

Watch Sofia Carson Fall In Love At Oxford In Her New Netflix Movie

We may receive a commission on purchases made from links. For anyone who loves a good romance set against a picturesque backdrop, "My Oxford Year" might just be your next Netflix obsession. Starring Sofia Carson and "Queen Charlotte" star Corey Mylchreest, this new movie tells a story of love, ambition, and the detours that life sometimes throws our way. Directed by Iain Morris, best known for creating "The Inbetweeners," and based on Julia Whelan's bestselling novel, the movie hits Netflix on August 1 — and, given that this is a love story set in and around Oxford University, it's chock-a-block with literary references, heart-swelling moments, and storybook romance that will no doubt sweep viewers off their feet. "I chose not to visit all the locations where we would be filming, because I wanted to save my honest reaction to witnessing the magic of Oxford for the first time, for once the cameras were rolling," Carson tells Netflix's Tudum. "To truly experience Oxford just as Anna would." She continues: "Our story is a film that in every frame reaffirms the belief that life is too short to not live it in love. To not live it in joy." What To Expect From My Oxford Year On Netflix The story in "My Oxford Year" is focused on Anna (Carson), an American student who arrives at Oxford ready to take on a prestigious poetry program — and with her life seemingly mapped out ahead of her. That plan quickly veers off-course, however, when she meets Jamie (Mylchreest), a charming local who, as fate would have it, turns out to be her teaching assistant. Their relationship begins with a very British meet-cute involving a puddle and a runaway ex, but soon deepens into something more meaningful. Filming took place on location, and the iconic university setting plays a major role in the film's aesthetic. The film also stars Dougray Scott and Catherine McCormack as Jamie's parents, plus Harry Trevaldwyn, Esmé Kingdom, and Poppy Gilbert as Anna's Oxford crew. Everyone involved, from producers at Temple Hill (the team behind "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Twilight") to Carson's real-life mom Laura Char Carson (also an executive producer), worked to craft a story about the kind of love that leaves a mark — even if it doesn't last forever. Morris sums it up best: He says in his own Netflix interview that he hopes watching "My Oxford Year" will allow viewers to "run through all the emotions associated with the wonderful, noisy, chaotic, unexpected, funny, heartbreaking experience that is falling in love." The 16 Best Slasher Movies Ever Made, from ‘Candyman' to ‘Psycho'

[Editor's note: this list was originally published in October 2022. It has since been updated with new entries.] Slasher movies are generally considered to be among the more disreputable horror film subgenres. They can be misogynistic, punishing women for their sexuality while also appealing to viewers' most prurient, voyeuristic impulses: celebrating the male gaze while damning the objects of that gaze except for a virginal 'Final Girl.' But slasher movies can veer the closest to true-crime of any of the horror subgenres, meaning that its issues of representation often say as much about an audience that wants to consume beastly criminality as packaged narrative, as it does the filmmakers who deliver them to us. And almost all force you to look within and ask yourself: what's the line between you watching a horrific act… and finally looking away? The genre as we know it was birthed in the mid-'70s from American filmmakers like Tobe Hooper and John Carpenter, who broke new ground and introduced classic horror villains with films like 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Halloween.' But its roots stretch back to formative '40s films like 'The Lodger' or 'The Leopard Man,' which introduced the concept of a silent stalker into horror filmmaking. The giallo wave of the late '60s and '70s in Italy, lead by auteurs like Dario Argento and Mario Bava, proved key foundational texts for the slashers to follow, frightening audiences with unseen murderers in tight black gloves and elaborate, gruesome murder scenes that pushed boundaries for gore in cinema. From the grungy, indie films of the '70s that birthed the genre, slashers have since become arguably the most mainstream of mainstream horror. In the '80s and '90s, movies like 'Chucky' and 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' kept the genre alive, while 'Scream' introduced a self-referential streak that many lesser entries into the canon still attempt to emulate. While today's discourse in the genre tends to be dominated by 'elevated' horror like your 'Hereditarys' or 'The Babadooks,' slashers remain the gateway that can turn a horror skeptic into a foaming-at-the-mouth fan. IndieWire is revisiting our list of the best slashers ever made to provide a guide to whatever horror film marathon you have going on this spooky season. Country Star Says He's 'Blessed' As He Shares Engagement News

Congratulations are in order for Zac Brown and Kendra Scott, country music's newest engaged couple! On Thursday, July 24, PEOPLE revealed that the Zac Brown Band frontman popped the question to the jewelry designer with a jaw-dropping pink diamond ring at sunset. "We are so happy and grateful that we found each other," the couple told PEOPLE, and continue to swoon to anyone and everyone who asks. Just this morning, the 'Chicken Fried' singer echoed the sentiment on TODAY while performing for their 2025 Citi Concert Series. 'What are you gonna get somebody that designs jewelry?' Zac joked on stage when asked about how he popped the question. "But it's incredible, incredible. So happy... We're so happy we found each other and we're blessed. It just adds so much energy to everything else. More to give to music, more to give to our families and everything, so we're blessed." All the while, the camera panned to Kendra, who was nodding along during her fiancé's speech and cheering throughout his performances. Zac and Kendra debuted their relationship to the public back in May while walking the 2025 American Music Awards red carpet. Fans were thrilled for the lovebirds back then and even more so now. 'This is wonderful news to wake up to. Congratulations,' one fan exclaimed on the TODAY show's Instagram post. 'Happy for y'all,' someone else commented. 'Such a lovely couple, sending many blessings for you both,' another fan chimed in. As happy as some fans are for Zac and Kendra, many others are dismayed by how quickly he's moved on, as his legal battle with second wife Kelly Yadzi continues. One can only imagine what it must be like to go through a divorce, let alone one in the public eye. Here's hoping it works out for everyone involved.
