
Out-of-control wildfire in N.L. prompts more evacuation alerts

An out-of-control wildfire that broke out Monday on the outskirts of St. John's quickly grew to 200 hectares in a few hours, prompting the province to put parts of Paradise and Conception Bay South on evacuation alert. There are eight fires currently burning across Newfoundland and Labrador, with five burning out of control.
