
Morcos discusses media cooperation with Omani, Italian Ambassadors
NNA - Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, on Wednesday met with Omani Ambassador to Lebanon, Ahmad ben Mohammad al-Saidi, at his office, with whom he discussed bilateral relations, particularly in the media sector, and explored ways to enhance collaboration. The discussions also covered potential support for Tele Liban across various levels.
Morcos later received Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli, describing their meeting as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Lebanon and Italy, especially in the media field. Morcos proposed ideas to advance this collaboration, particularly with Tele Liban.
"We agreed to hold further meetings to develop additional ideas beyond those discussed today," Morcos stated after the meeting.
For his part, Ambassador Marcelli reaffirmed Italy's commitment to fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Information, announcing that efforts are underway to provide Tele Liban with Italian programming. He emphasized that discussions would continue to achieve meaningful progress in media collaboration.

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received an official letter from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko delivered by Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, inviting him to visit Belarus and affirming the desire to strengthen bilateral relations. Minister of Information Paul Morcos received a delegation from the Francophone Press Association in his office at the ministry.
