‘So embarrassing' rant Love Island fans as they say couple ‘will split in days'

LOVE Island fans are convinced that it's just a matter of days before Lauren and Harrison call it quits after telling clue.
The footballer, 22, was embroiled in a controversial love triangle with Lauren and Toni for most of his villa stay, breaking both their hearts along the way.

After Lauren was dumped, Harrison did some soul-searching and decided to leave to give things a go with her and quit the show.
Shortly after Harrison reunited with Lauren and told her that he "wanted her to be his girlfriend" as they hugged in emotional scenes.
On last night's finale, host Maya Jama quizzed the pair on whether they were finally boyfriend and girlfriend.
Harrison admitted they were still dating but not official yet.
When quizzed on their relationship status, Harrison told Maya: "Not yet, we're exclusive. I left the villa to be with Lauren. We are getting on really, really well.
"We've both met each other's families. Going really, really well.
"Not boyfriend and girlfriend yet but soon."
Lauren then looked at Sophie and seemed unimpressed by Harrison's response.
But viewers were left scratching their heads after Harrison vowed to make Lauren his girlfriend after - but now appeared to be "backtracking".
One wrote: "I just went back and watched their little reunion. He straight up says 'And I want you to be my girlfriend'. I was under the impression the last two weeks that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Now he's essentially backtracking and saying they're not even exclusive? Where do these two even stand?"
A second posted: "Lmao this man is NOT going to commit to her. If he does it'll be out of pressure and it'll implode spectacularly shortly after. You absolutely do not meet someone you like enough to be in a relationship with only to run back to someone else then go back and forwards and act like a f*****g lunatic."

A third commented: "Harrison says a lot of things, he then walks a lot of them back almost as soon as he's said them, we saw him do it for about six weeks on the show, he's not a serious person."
"His reaction to Toni and Cach tonight was very telling. i don't think they'll last or even get to that point of being committed to Lauren," a fourth said.
After leaving the villa, Harrison said his family would play a big part in whether he and Lauren progresses.
Speaking on the Love Island: Morning After podcast, Harrison said: "I feel like we want to get to know each other a little bit more away from the villa.
"Obviously the villa's a very secluded environment it's different on the outside so it's nice to get to know each other, go on a few dates without cameras and microphones."
Looking cosy beside Lauren, he continued: "For me it was a big thing about her meeting my family before I made anything official. But I left the villa for Lauren and I do think a lot of her. I feel like we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend soon, no doubt."
An extra spanner in the works is the fact Harrison is based in Miami, and he isn't sure if he wants to return to the UK permanently just yet.

Paddy McGuinness can't flog £6.5m mansion he shares with ‘unhappy' ex wife Christine who wants to move out

TELLY star Paddy McGuinness and his ex-wife Christine are struggling to flog the £6.5million home they share. The comic, 51 — known for catchphrase 'No likey, no lighty!' on dating show Take Me Out — has had 'very little interest' in the mansion. 2 He and Christine, 37, still live in the seven-bedroom Cheshire spread — now on the market for 4½ months — with their twins Leo and Penelope, 12, and eight-year-old daughter Felicity. It featured on their 2021 BBC show Paddy And Christine McGuinness: Our Family And Autism. Despite remaining in the house together to co- parent, Christine is reportedly unhappy with the current living situation and wants to move out. She and Paddy paid £2.1million for the home in 2020 and it has a gym, his and hers dressing-rooms, an orangery and planning permission for a rear extension and roof terrace. They stand to make a big profit but sources say it's quite a pricey house even for posh Prestbury in east Cheshire. One said: 'It's a lovely house with all mod cons in a fantastic location but there's been very little interest. 'It's the most expensive house in Prestbury on Rightmove but it appears the market's a bit flat right now.' Paddy and Christine announced their split in 2022 and finalised their divorce last year. Christine has said: 'We live in separate parts of the house.' Paddy said the family's living arrangement 'doesn't feel tricky'.

'Astonishingly rare' The Hobbit book sells for 'record-breaking' sum

An "astonishingly rare" first edition of The Hobbit has sold for a "record-breaking" £43,000 at copy of JRR Tolkien's novel is one of only 1,500 copies that were printed in 1937. It was discovered without a dustcover on a bookcase during a home clearance in was sold to a private collector in the UK through an online auction at Auctioneum in Bath, Somerset, Riley, the book specialist from the auction house, said: "It's the quintessential auction story. Everyone dreams of finding a rare item hidden in plain sight, and here we are." The book, which was only expected to fetch between £10,000-£12,000 at auction, attracted hundreds of bidders from all over the Riley said the book is in "absolutely beautiful condition" and she believed it sold for a record price for a first edition without a dustcover."House clearances can be tricky, stressful and troublesome... this could have so easily been sent to landfill, or disposed of by someone who didn't realise it was there," she added. The book came from the family library of Hubert Priestley who was a famous botanist in the 1930s and brother to the Antarctic explorer and geologist, Sir Raymond Edward Priestley. Priestley had strong connections to the University of Oxford where Tolkien stood as Rawlinson and Bosworth Professor of Anglo-Saxon and a Fellow of Pembroke men knew fellow author C.S. Lewis and it is likely that they knew each other."It's the connection to Tolkien and the important provenance that makes this book so special. It's not just any first edition; it belonged to someone who very likely called Tolkien an acquaintance," Ms Riley added it was astonishingly rare to find a first edition in such good condition. "Being a children's book, most of them have seen children's hands, children's colouring pens in some cases, so to have one that appears to be completely unread and never enjoyed is really, really astonishingly rare," she said. The Hobbit is one of the most successful children's novels, with more than 100 million copies story is set in the fantasy world Middle-earth and follows the hobbit Bilbo Baggins on a quest to find rare edition that was sold also includes rare drawings by Tolkien himself.

Oasis fan who fell to his death at Wembley ‘slipped on beer'

An Oasis fan who fell to his death at the one of the band's Wembley gigs may have slipped on spilt beer, his father has claimed. Lee Claydon, 45, fell from the upper tier of the stadium on Saturday, moments after the band had finished their gig. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene. It is believed Mr Claydon, a landscape gardener from Bournemouth, may have fallen as concertgoers were beginning to leave the stadium. Clive Claydon, his father, told The Sun his son was 'super excited' to be attending the Oasis reunion tour, having bought tickets a year ago. Mr Claydon snr, who was not at the concert, said he had been told his son's death was an 'accident waiting to happen'. He added: 'There was beer all over the floor, it was really slippery, and Lee just slipped and fell. 'I've been told that it was an accident waiting to happen. It was a horrible, horrible accident. 'All I really know is there was beer everywhere, he slipped, and we don't know the rest of it. 'I wasn't there so I don't know what happened, but it will all come out. I am so devastated. 'I can't understand how it happened, I've never been to Wembley, but you would expect the health and safety to be good. 'He has never taken drugs in his life and he may have had a beer. Who doesn't at a concert? But he certainly was not drunk. 'I want answers from Wembley about how it could have happened.' The Metropolitan Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them if they have any information or footage of the incident. A spokesman said: 'At around 22.19 on Saturday Aug 2, officers on duty at Wembley Stadium for the Oasis concert responded alongside venue medics and the London Ambulance Service to reports that a person had been injured. 'A man - aged in his 40s - was found with injuries consistent with a fall. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 'The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or many knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.' A Wembley Stadium spokesman said: 'Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. 'The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.'
