Ireland AM star Muireann is thrilled to get the keys to her new home, a beautiful period three-bedroom mid-terrace house.

Take a look at the dream house broadcaster Muireann O'Connell has bought after falling in love with it.
The beautiful period three-bedroom mid-terrace house in a Dublin suburb was on the market for €675,000, but it's likely to have sold for more than €700,000.
Ireland AM star Muireann is engaged to Phil Manzor, who is a high flying radio executive, and the current content controller for Dublin radio stations FM104 and Q102.
Limerick woman Muireann has previously complained how she struggled to find a place of her own, having rented for years in the Stoneybatter area of the capital.

She once described her years of house hunting as a 'nightmare', and said that properties the couple bid on had gone for €100,000 over their asking price.
The brochure for her new property, the exact location of which we are not revealing, described it as being well-proportioned accommodation over three floors with private front and rear gardens.
The house has an open plan kitchen/dining room which opens to the main living room.

The back garden has rear access though double gates, a central lawned area, brick built shed and patio area finished with sandstone patio slabs.
Muireann (42) shares Limerick connections with Phil as he went to university in her home town.
He grew up in Co Offaly and was content and programming director with Today FM for just over a year and a half until he parted ways with the station.

Prior to that, he was content director at youth station Spin for four years, and before that held a similar position with a couple of Scottish radio stations.
The couple got engaged in Co Kerry in 2021.
'It's a strange thing because, yes, I'm a public figure but I'm just a person who happens to be on the telly,' Muireann once told the Sunday World, when she admitted she didn't want to talk too openly about her fiancé, describing him as her 'housemate'.
'If I was in a different job I think I'd be the exact same way.

'I don't think ever in my entire life, other than with friends, have I talked about who I'm going out with.'
Muireann shared pictures on social media from her new home this week.
'The bathroom does need a little bit of work but I think once we get the bathroom done we can then just move in and any other work that needs to be done we'll do while we're here,' she explained, while showing a picture of the bathroom.

'We've been terrible at this process. God, house buying has been a slog. I know it's not easy. For anyone going through it, much love. It can be soul destroying. But bloody hell, do I feel good today.'

Pitbull lookalikes fill 3Arena for rapper's sold-out Dublin concert
Fans flocked from all over Ireland and Europe to see Mr Worldwide Thousands of people, many dressed in bald caps, black jackets, white shirts and ties and sunglasses, flocked to see Mr Worldwide from all over Ireland and Europe, with Dutch, English, Scottish and Spanish fans attending. Amber and Kyle, from Dundee and Edinburgh, revealed they'd travelled over as there were no Scottish dates. Amber and Kyle from Scotland They were among the first to arrive at the 3Arena and were excitedly brandishing a cardboard cut-out Pitbull they'd won in a competition. "I had presale so I got the tickets,' Amber said. Amber said she was looking forward to hearing all of his songs while Kyle wanted to hear Don't Stop the Party. ' Can't wait for that one', he said. They had travelled over for three days and were enjoying their time in Dublin. Spaniards Alma, Tanya and Laura all live in Ireland and were meeting their friend Paola before the concert kicked off. They were all in high spirits and looking forward to partying it up. Paola, Alma, Tanya and Laura Dutch native Vera and her friends Gabby and Nat from London had came to Dublin due to the high price of UK tickets. Gabby had been here before when she was 21 while it was the first time for the others. 'Everywhere she [Gabby] goes, it's a good time', Vera said. The girls were looking forward to visiting the Guinness Storehouse and Trinity College also, 'I just want to sink pints', Nat laughed. Pitbull fans Vera, Gabby and Nat Ciara and Niamh had travelled from Ballyshannon in Donegal and said the three-and-a half hour trip was worth it to see their idol. They'd secured tickets early on with one of the girls booking a morning off work when they were released. Ciara and Niamh from Donegal Asked what they were looking forward to hearing, ' Fireball ', they both replied enthusiastically. They'd decided to dress up the day before getting tickets. Mary and Sarah, from Wilton in Cork, had their own spin on the Pitbull uniform by pairing the shirt and tie with black skirts and forgoing the bald caps. They'd missed out on the February gigs and were determined to make this one. Mary told us: 'We got tickets ages ago. The first one, we tried to get tickets and we couldn't, so we're happy to get this one." 'Every night out, Pitbull's gonna be played at some point during the night', Mary said. Meanwhile Dublin locals Linh and AJ told us they were also looking forward to the show and knew people who'd travelled from Spain to attend. They were among the lucky few who'd snapped up their tickets in presale before general release. Linh and AJ Inside the venue, we enjoyed cocktails and pizza in the plush surroundings of the Kaleidoscope Lounge before the show began. Supporting acts were 00s legend Shaggy and Miami rapper and radio star, DJ Laz, who pumped up the crowd before the main event. Pitbull hit the stage with his band and troupe of six dancers who dazzled the crowd with their choreography and sparkly costumes. The 44-year-old was full of energy and was clearly feeding off the infectious atmosphere. Having collaborated with many other musicians and singers, including Christina Aguilera, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Kesha and T-Pain, the setlist was chock-full of floor fillers. He also paid homage to fellow Latino reggaeton star Daddy Yankee with a cover of hit track Gasolina . The crowd were treated to two rounds of Timber as Pitbull revealed they'd experienced technical issues but added, 'It's only right we do it again.' Thanking Dublin for the 'energy, the love', Pitbull recalled a funny experience he had in a bar here. He ordered a vodka and water only to be told deadpan by the barman, 'That's a c**t's drink!' Thankfully, he wasn't offended. Pitbull on stage The rapper was semi-philosophical as he reminded the crowd of his lyrics 'Life is not a waste of time and time is not a waste of life. So let's not waste any time. Get wasted tonight', before launching into crowdpleaser Time of Our Lives . He also paid tribute to a teacher who 'changed his life'. The Miami native, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, spent his youth moving between various neighbourhoods and attended so many schools, he lost count. 'Never been a troublemaker, just always been around some trouble,' he said, adding that he didn't finish high school. Pitbull However, teacher Hope Martinez told him she believed in him and this stuck with him. He shared some clips of the tuition-free schools he supports in Miami, adding that he now has '10,000 kids' who have attended and thanking his fans for helping him achieve this. He closed the show out with his break-out hit Give Me Everything as a shower of ticker tape exploded over the crowd. With four sold-out dates here, it's unlikely Mr Worldwide will forget his adoring Irish audience anytime soon.

He was too young to see his idols the first time around, so Picture This star Ryan Hennessy is bracing himself for the experience of his life when Oasis come to town in August. Back with a new EP and set to tour Ireland, the Picture This frontman tells Magazine+ that he understands his own band's appeal to fans because he's a 'superfan' himself. 'For us it's always just naturally been about the fans, I think because we're such big fans of music ourselves,' Ryan says. 'I love being a fan of things, I'm a huge Man United fan, I'm a huge Oasis fan, I'm super passionate about Leonard Cohen… people like that get me so excited.' Ryan, Jimmy, Owen and Cliff are releasing a new EP News in 90 Seconds - 6th June 2025 'I'm a super fan and I don't find it embarrassing. 'I'm sorted for a ticket for Oasis in Croke Park and it will be a huge moment for me because I've never seen them live. I was just too young to catch them and they mean everything to me and have meant everything to me since I can remember, and have informed so much of my life. 'It's going to be a crazy moment for me to see them on stage. I don't know how I'm going to feel, actually, seeing them. I've seen Liam and Noel separately playing their solo stuff and that alone is just so amazing to see. But the two of them standing on stage together is going to be an incredible moment.' Picture This lead singer Ryan Hennessy on stage at Belsonic I've been interviewing Picture This since the start of their career and have seen them navigate the often shark-infested waters of the music business… and live to tell the tale. Nearly 10 years down the line, frontman Hennessy, Jimmy Rainsford (drums), Owen Cardiff (guitar) and Cliff Dean (bass) are enjoying the self-assurance that comes with experience. 'We're leading an extraordinary life, but we're ordinary people and I used to be afraid of saying that. I think it was maybe an ego thing,' Ryan says. 'I didn't want people to think I was ordinary. I wanted people to think I was extraordinary, but the older I get and the more mature I get I realise that I'm just as ordinary as anybody else. 'I'm just very lucky that I lead an extraordinary life and very, very grateful that that's the case. But I like being grounded and on earth with the boys and not being away with the fairies.' Rainsford acknowledges how their wealth of experience has shaped the band. 'It's true that we're very experienced now, we know what we're doing, we have great trust in our team and our fans and we've never been happier creating music than we are today,' Jimmy says. Picture This 'We're always trying to up the stakes a little bit because that's what the fans expect. That's what I would expect from my favourite band anyway. 'I want to be challenged as a fan. I want to be told what to listen to and like and I want to be inspired.' Picture This have weathered many a storm throughout their career. 'Oh we have!' Jimmy says. 'We've had some big storms, the biggest one being the coronavirus. It was just a terrible time and our career was hanging in the balance. 'But in a way I feel kind of thankful for that happening because it really made us stop and realise what we have and how lucky we are. I probably subconsciously still think about that. 'To weather those storms and come back stronger was really important because this is all we do. We don't have any other hobbies.' Picture This will play all over Ireland this summer, coming to a town and city near you. 'It's that old-school approach,' Ryan says. 'We're from Kildare so we know how it feels to forgotten about or overlooked or passed through while people are on the way to Dublin. 'So instead of people travelling to see us, we're coming to see them in their home area.' Releasing today, their new EP, Let The Light In, which includes Let's Try Love and A Thousand Times, is a set of stripped down songs with their unique storytelling. 'It was just the four of us hanging out and playing songs together and they just ended up coming out in that more acoustic stripped style,' Jimmy reveals.
