Strictly's Tasha Ghouri admits she 'went into a cave' following her split from Andrew Le Page as she reveals exactly when they went their separate ways

Daily Mail08-05-2025

Tasha Ghouri has revealed she 'went into a cave' following her split from Love Island beau Andrew Le Page.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 26, and the estate agent, 29, ended their romance earlier this year, having been in a relationship since meeting on Love Island in 2022.
And now she has revealed on Kate Thornton's podcast, White Wine Question Time, that their breakup happened during Strictly's UK tour which took place earlier this year.
Tasha also admitted she closed herself off by turning her phone off which sparked worry among her family as no one could contact her.
She told the host: 'When the breakup happened, it actually kind of happened around the tour. I just remember pushing it back to my head.
'I didn't really deal with it that well, if I'm honest. When I was on the tour, the first week it kind of got leaked to the press. I didn't have the control of how it happened. I remember it was just everywhere.
'Everywhere I looked on social media, and everyone was messaging me saying, 'what's happened? What's going on?' I remember I switched my phone off for about five days. I didn't text anyone. I didn't message anyone.
'My Mum drove four hours to come see me because I didn't message anyone back. I went into a cave, and I was so scared to come out of that cave.'
It comes after Andrew unfollowed Tasha on Instagram following her revelations about their split in her new book.
Andrew appeared to take a swipe at the dancer while answering a series of fan questions on Snapchat on Monday.
When asked how he dealt with the 'different negative narratives' surrounding their breakup, he hinted: 'Let's just say I've had to bite my tongue with all of it. Truth always comes out at some point right?'
Fans also asked whether he'd consider starting a podcast, saying his 'voice should be heard,' but he replied: 'To be honest it's not my thing. We're done and I'm moving on.'
Tasha recently revealed that 'cracks began to appear' in her relationship with Andrew during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Explaining what went wrong in her new book, she said the show meant they were spending less time together.

The reality star said she 'knew it wasn't right' but declared it was hard to walk away from a relationship where she had considered marriage and children.
She said: 'I knew deep down it wasn't right. There were a lot of tears and it was a really hard time.
'Andrew was the man I was going to marry. We had discussed having children.'
Addressing the split again last month, Tasha said she was the one to end the relationship with estate agent Andrew, and she is now looking forward to the next chapter of her life.
She told The Mirror: 'It's a new chapter. It's a new beginning and it's all about embracing that, and that's what life is about.'
For Tasha, this new chapter involves continuing her dancing and modelling work, which are set to reach new heights after her Strictly success, her as well as her book.
While the exact reason for the split has not been publicly revealed, Tasha said a lot of things 'went on behind the scenes'.
She said: 'Break-ups happen in life. Just because ours is in the 'public eye' doesn't make it any different.'
Tasha, who has raised awareness of deafness since appearing on Love Island, also addresses her disability in the book.
She said: 'It's a long process, but it's really about having people out there, in other people to help them find their self-confidence with their disability.'
In a new interview in the wake of the 'heartbreaking' break-up, Tasha told of her huge regret at creating a Raya dating profile immediately after the split which reportedly left her ex 'blindsided', with the beauty deleting it very soon after.
She told The Sun: 'I think at the time, I made a silly mistake. I did it way too soon. It was just a heat-of-the-moment kind of situation. Everyone makes mistakes. And in that situation, I did and I own up to that.
'Unfortunately, that's something I just have to put my hands up and say: 'Tasha, it was way too soon.' It is what it is. I can't turn back time, but I've learned from that.'
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty reflected on the 'emotional' break-up with Andrew as she revealed the real reason for the split.
She explained: 'It is hard. Any break-up is hard. I spent so much time with Andrew. We were together for two-and-a-half years. We had a house. We got our dog Luna together in 2023. It was heartbreaking. But sometimes you just grow apart, and that's what happened.'
Tasha added that the couple 'didn't end badly at all' and are in fact 'still in touch' as they have to communicate about their shared dog Luna, who they 'co-parent'.
She went on to say how much she still 'cares' about Andrew but acknowledged that the two are now on 'different paths' in their lives.

Love Island fans convinced Ben doesn't fancy stunning American bombshell Toni as they spot giveaway sign

LOVE Island fans are convinced Ben doesn't fancy new bombshell Toni - despite the fact she stole him from Shakira in the series opener. Loyal ITV2 viewers threatened to call Ofcom over a brutal show twist which saw the American's arrival as the latest instalment kicked off. 7 7 7 Love Island anchor Maya Jama, 30, delivered a huge bombshell when she entered the villa for a second time in episode one. Her bombshell was that a bombshell was arriving. Glam girl Toni, 24 - who is the first ever late show arrival from the United States - then arrived. The couples were left stunned as Las Vegas pool cabana server Toni said: "Good Evening UK! Surprise!" They quickly worked out she is American and on being the first American bombshell Toni says: "Lucky girl, aren't I?" Maya then explained that Toni was to immediately steal a boy. Toni then opted for Ben, 23, meaning Shakira was left single and vulnerable. Yet viewers aren't convinced it's a winning match. One took to X to write: "Ben doesn't fancy that girl btw." Another mused: "Ben doesn't even look like he wants to be there. This season is about to be a mess." A third then added: "Ben did not want to be picked." It remains to be seen what the taxi driver's next move is - and if he will take the time to get to know Toni, who recently revealed her crippling health battle. NEXT STEPS During Monday's episode, Maya then revealed that Burnley lass Shakira is now single. Maya clarified the brunette beauty wouldn't be dumped from the villa immediately, but instead had 24 hours to graft and steal a boy from someone else. She isn't allowed to take Ben back from Antonia, and if she doesn't get chosen, she'll be packing her bags. But if she does get selected in the next re-coupling round, another girl will be going home. Leaving the group with that cliffhanger, Maya then suggested that the girls keep their "boys very close". The show's six couples with Shakira single are now Toni and Ben, Meg and Dejon, Sophie and Harry, Helena and Conor, Alima and Blu, and Megan and Tommy. Yet it might not look good for Shakira, who entered the villa first alongside Meg Moore, 25. She promptly offended swathes of viewers as she made a stark comment about 9-5 jobs. Like Queen Letizia of Spain I swapped stilettos for block heel sandals and I'm never going back! Add these to your wish list now

Whenever I attend an event in heels, I always find myself watching the clock until I can take them off. There have been more than a few occasions where my feet ended up blistered, sore and even cut from wearing towering stilettos - and it's far from glamorous. It turns out I'm not alone. Queen Letizia of Spain reportedly shares the same sentiment. After fracturing a toe on her right foot last year, she swapped her trademark sky-high heels for more practical footwear. She's also believed to have been managing Morton's neuroma in her left foot since 2022 - a painful condition caused by thickened tissue around the nerves between the toes, often resulting in sharp pain, numbness or tingling. It's little wonder, then, that Letizia now opts for chic block-heeled sandals. These have also become my footwear of choice. Offering far more support than high heels, they're stylish, wearable and - best of all - I no longer rush to take them off at the end of the day.
