Did Frankie LaPenna get arrested? YouTuber's arrest video goes viral and leaves everyone confused
Frankie LaPenna is back in the headlines, but this time, it's not just for the oversized backside or a viral gym video. The internet is exploding after a dramatic 'arrest' clip featuring the Michigan-based content creator began making rounds online.
But as with most things in Frankie's world, nothing is ever as straightforward as it seems.
Did Frankie LaPenna really get arrested?
The video in question opens with a dramatic narrator declaring that Frankie 'finally crossed the line.' The camera cuts to what's claimed to be police bodycam footage showing Frankie, wearing his signature green suit and absurdly large glutes, being chased outside an Arby's. According to the voiceover, he had a public meltdown after losing money in a crypto crash involving his very own token: Gyat Coin.
Viewers are told that LaPenna resisted arrest and was eventually tackled near a nightclub after sprinting 'over a mile' on foot. The arrest supposedly ended with him being booked on a $12,000 bail at 2:48 a.m.
Fans aren't convinced, and the internet is doing its thing
Frankie's followers, who are all too familiar with his over-the-top skits, weren't convinced. Comments flooded in with viewers pointing out multiple signs that the arrest might be staged. Some noticed the bodycam footage lacked standard police details like date stamps.
Others claimed the person shown getting fingerprinted didn't even look like Frankie.
To add to the suspicion, eagle-eyed fans recognized scenes that had appeared in previous videos, including one chase where Frankie's running with Arby's burgers in both hands before getting tackled outside a nightclub.
Frankie's history of chaos makes it all even more confusing
Frankie's
done this before
. In fact, staged run-ins with the police have become a recurring theme in his content.
Just last month, he uploaded a clip featuring a police 'bike chase' that ended in him crashing headfirst into a tree. Before that? A 'public warning' collab with the Fort Lauderdale PD, all in good fun.
His content is chaotic, theatrical, and always slightly off-kilter, which makes it super viral and super hard to tell what's real and what's not.
So what's the truth behind the viral arrest?
At the moment, there's no official record of Frankie LaPenna being arrested. No police department has confirmed the incident. And a few corners of the internet have even matched parts of the footage to older videos, suggesting it's a mashup of previous stunts with some new edits thrown in.

International Court Rejects Israel's Request To Withdraw Netanyahu's Arrest Warrant
The Hague: Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Wednesday rejected Israel's request to withdraw arrest warrants against its prime minister and former defence minister while the ICC reviews Israeli challenges to its jurisdiction over the conduct of the Gaza war. In a decision published on the ICC website, judges also rejected an Israeli request to suspend the wider ICC investigation into alleged atrocity crimes in the Palestinian Territories. The ICC issued arrest warrants on November 21 for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence chief, Yoav Gallant, as well as a Hamas leader, Ibrahim al-Masri, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict. The court said in February that judges had withdrawn the arrest warrant for al-Masri, also known as Mohammed Deif, following credible reports of his death. Israel rejects the jurisdiction of the Hague-based court and denies war crimes in Gaza, where it has waged a military campaign it says is aimed at eliminating Hamas since the deadly attack on Israel by the militant Palestinian group on October 7, 2023. It is contesting the warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant. Israel has argued that an appeals chamber decision in April ordering the pre-trial chamber to review Israel's objections to the court's jurisdiction means there is no valid jurisdictional basis for the warrants. The judges rejected that reasoning as incorrect, saying on Wednesday that Israel's jurisdictional challenge to the arrest warrants was still pending and the warrants would remain in place until the court ruled on that issue specifically. There is no timeline for a ruling on jurisdiction in this case. In June the United States imposed sanctions on four judges at the ICC, an unprecedented retaliation over the war tribunal's issuance of an arrest warrant for Netanyahu. Two of the sanctioned judges are on the panel that ruled to reject Israel's request to withdraw the warrants. As five more pvt. schools receive bomb threat e-mails, police lens on Germany-based platform
Five private schools in the Capital received bomb threat e-mails on Wednesday morning, which later turned out to be hoaxes but disrupted classes as the schools were evacuated and students sent home. The schools that received bomb threat e-mails are Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, The Mother's International School in Hauz Khas and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodi Estate. St. Thomas School in Dwarka received a hoax bomb threat e-mail on Tuesday as well. Since Monday, 10 educational institutions have received hoax bomb threat e-mails. According to a senior Delhi Police officer, the threat e-mails were received between 4.16 a.m. and 8.12 a.m. 'Richmond Global School was the first to receive the mail around 4.16 a.m., and The Mother's International School the last at 8.12 a.m.,' said the officer. 'Multiple teams from Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police and Bomb Disposal Squads were rushed to the site. The schools were evacuated and checked thoroughly, but nothing was found,' said the officer. According to the initial investigation, the e-mails were sent from a Germany-based encrypted e-mail service named Tuta Mail. 'The senders used TutaCrypt of Tuta Mail to send those threats,' said the officer. 'The medium used is an open source, end-to-end encrypted and makes it difficult to zero in on the true source,' added the officer. Earlier this year, the Directorate of Education issued standard operating procedures for handling bomb threats in schools, which included the installation of CCTV cameras in and around schools, devising evacuation plans, and conducting regular safety audits and mock drills. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal took to X to attack the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Delhi, saying, 'For the third day in a row, bomb threats have been issued to Delhi schools. Neither Union Home Minister Amit Shah nor the BJP's four-engine governments seem to care about the safety of Delhi's children. The BJP is hell-bent on turning Delhi into a jungle-raj.' Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva had said that it was regrettable that AAP leaders were trying to 'politicise' the issue and 'create tension' in Delhi.
