Before becoming a familiar face in Indian cinema,
Rashi Khanna
had an entirely different path mapped out for herself. Born and raised in Delhi, she excelled academically from a young age, topping her Class 12 board examinations and later her university as well. She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College with a degree in English Literature, where she initially set her sights on cracking the UPSC and becoming an IAS officer.
Coming from a middle-class background with no links to the entertainment industry, Rashi was never inclined toward films during her school years. In interviews, she has often shared that acting wasn't even a consideration—her focus was on building a stable career through hard work and self-reliance.
First Steps Into Professional World
Rashi's early professional life began in the corporate world, working as a copywriter at an advertising agency. It was during this phase that she began getting noticed for her presence and personality. While still preparing for the UPSC, she explored opportunities in modelling, largely due to the encouragement of people around her. What began as an experiment eventually opened doors to the entertainment world.

. She portrayed the role of the protagonist's wife in the film, marking her entry into the Hindi film industry. Though her screen time was limited, it was enough to leave an impression and pave the way for more prominent roles.
South Indian cinema and OTT
Following her debut, Rashi Khanna shifted focus to the South Indian film industry, where she built a strong portfolio. She starred in films like Imaikkaa Nodigal alongside Nayanthara, Bengal Tiger, Jil, and Sardar. In recent years, she has gained recognition in the OTT space with projects like Farzi, where she appeared alongside Shahid Kapoor, and the crime series Rudra.
Rashi has often credited her journey to a mix of fate and relentless effort. While her original goal was far removed from acting, her discipline and adaptability helped her excel in a completely different field. Her story reflects a rare blend of intellect, ambition, and creative passion—qualities that have allowed her to thrive in the entertainment industry without any formal background or connections.
Now in her mid-thirties and with over a decade in cinema, Rashi Khanna continues to evolve, balancing mainstream films, web series, and a strong presence on social media. From UPSC dreams to the film sets, her career remains a testament to how unexpected turns can often lead to fulfilling destinations.

"Dude just craves attention": Jason Kelce strips to red, white, and blue undies in epic charity appearance and fans starts criticizing him

Jason Kelce turns heads at charity event with wild, nearly-naked entrance in patriotic undies (Image via X) Jason Kelce knows how to throw a party—and how to make an entrance that no one will forget. The former Philadelphia Eagles center turned heads and dropped jaws on Wednesday night during his annual celebrity bartending event in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, all in the name of a good cause. Jason Kelce goes nearly nude in star-spangled speedo for unforgettable charity event moment This year, the seven-time Pro Bowler took the stage at his 'Team 62' Ocean Drive charity event not just to mix drinks but to shake up the crowd. And shake things up he did—by dramatically ripping off his American flag shorts to reveal nothing but a red, white, and blue speedo underneath. The bold display instantly electrified the room as fans erupted into cheers and laughter. 'We have no words…' the official Eagles account posted on X, summing up what most viewers were likely thinking. Kelce, 37, didn't stop there. He completed the look with a too-short Eagles tank top and the classic white New Balance sneakers, embodying dad-bod confidence like only he can. The moment was instantly viral—funny, wild, and perfectly on-brand for the ever-charismatic former NFL star. The annual event, which Kelce has hosted for five consecutive years, is dedicated to raising funds for the Eagles Autism Foundation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 3-Bedroom Container Homes for Seniors in the Philippines 2025 - Prices May Surprise You! Put your tongues back in your mouth and be respectful.' Despite her warnings, Jason's cheeky confidence makes it tough for fans to behave. 'Yun Hi Chala Chal': Swades song soothes Shubhanshu Shukla nerves before lift-off; Lucknow boy takes mango nectar, sweets to space

'Yun Hi Chala Chal Raahi, Kitni Haseen Hai Yeh Duniya...' That philosophical road song from Shahrukh Khan-starrer 'Swades' is what Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla listened to before heading to the launchpad at Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the lift-off on Wednesday. There is an old tradition at Nasa that when astronauts say goodbye to their families and drive towards the launchpad, they listen to their choice of music. The music soothes the nerves of the astronauts and helps them relax in order to focus on the lift-off. The ode-to-life song in the Ashutosh Gowarikar film that Shukla chose, coincidentally, centres around a Nasa scientist. The music playlist also had tracks curated by the rest of the crew: Commander Peggy Whitson (US) picked 'Thunder' by Imagine Dragons, Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski (Poland) went with 'Supermonce', a Polish track, and Tibor Kapu (Hungary) listed 'Bvhely', a traditional Hungarian song, as per a post by Axiom Space on X. The boy from Lucknow, which is famous for its varieties of mango, is carrying mango nectar with him to ISS. While astronauts are usually advised to travel light, Shukla is also carrying some mouth-watering Indian sweets — gajar (carrot) ka halwa, and moong dal halwa — with him to satiate his cravings for home-made food in space. After the 1999 Kargil War, Lucknow boy Shubhanshu Shukla was inspired to join the IAF. So, he applied for the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam and cleared it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40세 넘고 PC만 있으면? 이 게임 완전 내 거임! He was then selected for the flying branch and underwent training at the IAF Academy. In June 2006, he was commissioned into the fighter stream of IAF as a flying officer. Shukla logged over 2,000 flying hours across a range of aircraft, including the Su-30 MKI, MiG-21, MiG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Dornier 228, and An-32. Selected in 2019 for Isro's Gaganyaan mission, Shukla, along with three other selected Indian astronauts, went to Russia in 2020 for basic training at Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. After completing basic training in 2021, Shukla and others returned to India and attended training at Astronaut Training Facility in Bengaluru. During that time, he completed his Master of Technology degree in aerospace engineering from IISc Bangalore. Shukla's name as a member of the Gaganyaan team was officially announced on Feb 27, 2024, when PM Narendra Modi announced the names of the astronaut-designates for India's first human space mission at Isro's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram. Last year, he was chosen to pilot the Axiom mission 4 to ISS, becoming the first Indian astronaut to do so.
