Renault to launch all-new models with updated logo, starting with Triber
While the new logo has already been rolled out across Renault India's marketing and digital assets, its appearance on upcoming vehicles represents the first time it will feature on a production model in the country.
The redesigned logo—a minimalist, geometric reinterpretation of Renault's traditional diamond—reflects the French carmaker's global push toward a modern, digital-first identity. The flat, uncluttered design aims to improve visual clarity and adaptability across both digital platforms and physical formats such as grilles, displays, and signage.
Renault has also begun implementing the updated visual identity across all customer touchpoints in India, including dealerships, offices, the Oragadam manufacturing plant, and its research and development centre.
This move is part of the broader 'Renaulution' strategy, as Renault looks to position itself as a forward-looking brand focused on technology, mobility, and electrification. Renault India currently operates a production facility in Chennai with a capacity of 480,000 units annually, supported by a retail and service network of over 800 touchpoints.

Noel Tata's mother and former Tata Group director Simone Tata in critical condition
Simone Tata made a rare public appearance at the launch of the revamped flagship Westside store in South Mumbai in October 2019. MUMBAI: Simone Tata, the mother of Tata Trusts chairman Noel Tata, is in critical condition at the Breach Candy Hospital, sources with direct knowledge of the matter told TOI. She was airlifted from Dubai to Mumbai on Monday and is under the care of doctor Farokh Udwadia. Simone, 95, is fighting several symptoms of Parkinson's disease, the same illness that her stepson and former Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata passed away from last October. 'She and Noel arrived in Mumbai from Dubai on a medical plane at Terminal 8,' the sources said. Simone is most famous for turning the Lakmé cosmetic brand into a well-known household name in India. The name Lakmé comes from the French word for Lakshmi, a goddess known for her beauty in Hindu mythology. The Tata Group was urged by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to launch a makeup brand after learning that Indian women were spending the country's foreign reserves on Western makeup brands. Lakmé was established by the Tata Group in 1952. Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, Simone first visited India as a tourist in the summer of 1953 at the age of 23. Google Translate takes on Duolingo with new Practice Mode, Gemini powered AI features. All you need to know
Google is planning to make some major AI-powered changes to its Google Translate app which, among other things, could take the tech giant face to face with Duolingo with the release of a new Practice Mode feature. According to an Android Authority report, Google Translate's new Practice Mode feature will be aimed at gamifying the learning experience on the app. The feature creates personalized lessons that can currently only be practiced in French or Spanish at the moment. After selecting the desired language, users will be asked to choose their level of proficiency from options like Just Starting, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. From there, Google Translate will ask users to choose from a variety of scenarios to practice their new language, including food and drink, greetings and introductions, and asking for directions, along with dedicated subtopics. Moreover, Google will also provide the option to create a personalized practice scenario and choose whether it will be a listening or a speaking session. As part of the changes in the Translate UI, Google will shrink the size of the voice input button and move it to the right-hand side instead of taking the center position. Meanwhile, there will also be a bookmark button at the top for saving content and a new row of icons at the bottom for microphone, handwriting, and paste. What other changes are coming to Google Translate? Google is also reportedly adding a model picker to the app, which will be available on the Translate results page. The report states that the Fast model will optimize for 'speed and efficiency,' while the Advanced model 'specializes in accuracy using Gemini.' It seems like the Fast model in Google Translate is aimed at getting quick translations in scenarios like reading a signboard or a menu, while the Advanced model could be handy for scenarios that require an understanding of context, like having a one-on-one conversation with a native speaker. The new Advanced model feature, however, currently only supports English–French and English–Spanish translation at the moment.
