The podcast hosts and production team have come under fire after a clip from the original recording went viral.
In the clip, which, according to the podcast team, has since been deleted from the recording, the hosts make several racist comments, claiming that not only do Coloured families have sexual relationships with each other (incest), but they also suffer mental issues.
"Coloureds apparently chow (have sex with) each other," one of the hosts says.
In response, a co-host says, "I do believe that because Coloureds are crazy.
The letter sent from the PA's legal team to the podcast hosts

Meanwhile, the PA's legal team has sent a letter addressed to the hosts.
According to the letter, the podcast's team's "brief apology and removal of the offending clip are legally and morally insufficient."
The PA also plans to lodge a formal complaint with the SABC, requesting a review of its broadcast contract.
The party further states that it will institute proceedings in the Equality Court for unlawful discrimination.
"[We will] submit a complaint to YouTube demanding the immediate removal of your podcast episode from the platform," the letter stated.
PA leader, Gayton McKenzie took to social media where he condemned the hosts' comments.
He said the plan is not to "destroy" the hosts but if nothing is done, the perceptions and narrative created by the podcast will destroy other people's mentality of Coloured people.
"It has become too easy to insult Coloured people in this country. It has become too easy to have something to say about Coloured people. People will say things about Coloured people and it's pure racism," McKenzie said.
He said racism towards any race group in South Africa is wrong.
"Enough is enough," McKenzie said adding that the PA will march - in their thousands - to the various offices where the podcast is recorded as well as those broadcasters where it is aired.
He said the party will also take the matter up with the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).

Kenny Kunene DEFENDS Gayton's K-word tweets: 'He was quoting Gandhi'
Kenny Kunene has publicly defended Gayton McKenzie after old tweets of the Patriotic Alliance leader using the K-word recently resurfaced. He's even gone as far as to accuse the public of starting a smear campaign against his friend and business partner. The former party deputy president recently stepped down amid a public outcry after he was linked to murder-accused businessman Katiso Molefe. Interestingly, Gayton made the racial slurs after the duo established the political party in 2013, after meeting in prison years before. In a series of X [formerly Twitter] posts, Kenny Kunene defended Gayton McKenzie amid the backlash of his K-word social media posts. This comes after the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture criticised the Open Chats Podcast's hosts over their racial comments amid their comments about coloured people. Kenny posted: 'This man [Gayton McKenzie] has never been, is not, and will never be a racist. His mother is a South Sotho woman from Batho, [a] location in Mangaung, and his father is coloured. I know him better than all of you. 'Even in prison, he brought a team together for [an] expose made up of Black, White, Indian, and Coloured inmates'. Gayton McKenzie's old K-word tweets have been widely criticised. Images via X/Pexels Kenny went on to accuse the public of starting a smear campaign to tarnish Gayton's image. 'He is unfairly attacked in old tweets to divert attention from the insensitive and rude insults of [the] coloured community in a podcast. 'His crime was to defend the coloured people and take action on those insensitive, rude, and arrogant young people. 'I and all members of Patriotic Alliance know that our President is not a racist and we stand cement vas'. Kenny went on to claim that the PA would be taking the podcast presents to South Africa's Equity Court. When asked to explain the context of Gayton's K-word X posts, Kenny replied: 'He is quoting Gandhi to illustrate how black people are viewed by others, including Gandhi.' Kenny added, 'He is discouraging the labeling of successful black business people. I said the same thing to the New York Times in 2011. He took it from me.' Kenny Kunene's claims that Gayton McKenzie is not racist were met with disbelief amid a clip of the latter confessing to being just that. In the video – taken last year, after he was sworn in as minister – Gayton confessed to his controversial past. Speaking at a public event, Gayton conceded: 'I was the biggest racist you could ever find. I hated white people with a passion. But I had to de-k***inate myself, because I thought white people just see me as a k*****'. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1. Palestinian Authority slams Israel's escalation in Gaza
RAMALLAH - The Palestinian Authority on Saturday lambasted the Israeli government's decision to expand its military operations in Gaza, calling on the international community to push for the entry of more aid into the Strip. According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said the Israeli government's moves were "an unprecedented challenge and provocation to the international will to achieve peace and stability". He went on to urge the "international community, led by the UN Security Council, to urgently compel the occupying state to cease its aggression, allow the entry of aid, and work diligently to enable the State of Palestine to assume its full responsibilities in the Gaza Strip". The PA - conceived as a first step towards a Palestinian state - exercises limited administration over parts of the Israeli-occupied West Bank. The territory is home to about three million Palestinians, as well as around half a million Israelis living in settlements considered illegal under international law. The PA, however, does not have a presence in Gaza, which has been governed by Hamas for nearly two decades. Early Friday, the Israeli security cabinet approved plans for a major operation to seize Gaza City, triggering a wave of criticism across the globe. Despite the backlash and rumours of dissent from Israeli military top brass, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has remained defiant over the decision. In a post on social media late Friday, Netanyahu said "we are not going to occupy Gaza - we are going to free Gaza from Hamas". The prime minister faces mounting pressure to secure a ceasefire to bring Gaza's more than two million people back from the brink of famine and free the hostages held by Palestinian militants. A statement issued on Saturday by the foreign ministers of Italy, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and the United Kingdom took aim at the decision to occupy Gaza City. "This will exacerbate the catastrophic humanitarian situation, endanger the lives of hostages, and increase the risk of a mass exodus of civilians," they said. Israel's offensive has killed more than 61,000 Palestinians, according to Hamas-run Gaza's health ministry, figures the UN says are reliable. Hamas' 2023 attack on Israel - which triggered the war - resulted in the deaths of 1,219 people, according to an AFP tally based on official figures.
