Aaishvary Thackeray, grandson of Balasaheb Thackeray, is poised to enter Bollywood with his debut in Anurag Kashyap's 'Nishaanchi.' Having trained for five years and worked behind the scenes on 'Bajirao Mastani,' he's now stepping into the spotlight. The film, a dramatic tale of two brothers, is set to release on September 19, promising an action-packed entertainer. A new face is set to make a splash in Bollywood, and it's one with a powerful legacy. Aaishvary Thackeray—grandson of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray—is all set to make his acting debut in Anurag Kashyap 's Nishaanchi. From politics to the big screen, his journey promises to be one to watch. A Political Legacy Steps Into the Spotlight Aaishvary comes from a prominent political lineage as the son of Smita Thackeray and Jaidev Thackeray, and the grandson of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray . Recently, he offered a glimpse into his personal life by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram, showing his grandfather lovingly holding him as a baby, captioned with a heart emoji. Behind the Scenes to Centre Stage He has reportedly spent the past five years rigorously training for his big-screen debut. His journey into the world of cinema began behind the scenes, when he worked as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani in 2015. He is now set to make his acting debut with Nishaanchi. Aaishvary maintains a notably low profile on social media, with just around 11,000 followers on Instagram and only five posts. His feed includes a nostalgic photo with his grandfather Bal Thackeray, a couple of profile shots, and the official announcement of his debut film Nishaanchi. Despite maintaining a low profile online, the young lad has been tagged in several videos that highlight his impressive dancing skills, offering a glimpse of his versatility and talent beyond his upcoming debut in Nishaanchi. Fitness, Friendships, and Rumours Apart from honing his acting skills, Aaishvary appears to be deeply committed to fitness. Several Instagram videos show him engaging in intense workout sessions, highlighting the effort he's putting into building a strong screen presence for his debut. Even before stepping into the limelight, Thackeray found himself in the middle of media speculation about his personal life. In 2021, rumours linked him to actress Alaya F after the two were seen partying together. However, Alaya dismissed the buzz, clarifying that they were just good friends. Aaishvary also shares a close bond with Ahaan Panday and is frequently spotted hanging out with him at social gatherings.
