Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has reflected on her recent holiday abroad with her husband, Ben. The couple spent a few days in the Dubai sunshine after a busy few months for the Caerphilly-born professional dancer.
On Instagram, the star shared a few snaps of her holiday with her husband of three years, Ben Jones. The dancer described the holiday as "beautiful" and said she was "forever grateful" of their time away. The Instagram's post caption read: "Full of quality time together. Sun, sea, swimming, great food, spa treats, kayaking with tortoises most mornings, peacocks and just total relaxation. Exactly what we both needed. Memories made and forever grateful".
The trip comes after a busy few months for Amy. The dancer completed her UK tour, Reborn, with close friend and fellow dancer Carlos Gu at the beginning of the year.
The Welsh star then found out she would be rejoining the professional dancer cast of Strictly Come Dancing's upcoming series, which is set to air later this year. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
Last year the star returned to the dancing competition following her breast cancer treatment and receiving the news that there was 'no evidence of the disease'.
She was paired up with JLS member JB Gill, but sadly had to pull out of the competition when she sustained a foot injury. She was then replaced by fellow professional dancer Lauren Oakley.

Dowden, alongside Carlos Gu and Lauren Oakley will be returning to the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, which will air this autumn.

Before her holiday in Dubai, Amy was spotted at the Royal Chelsea Flower Show, where she was presented by a sweet pea named after her.

As explained by the English Sweet Peas, who launched the Sweet Pea Amy Dowden plant, 10% of of every packet would be donated to the star's two chosen charities - CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer awareness charity, and Crohn's & Colitis UK, which is a UK based charity dedicated to Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease. The star has also found out that her candid BBC documentary, Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, has been nominated for National TV Awards (NTA) for the 'Authored Documentary' category. The dancer said it had been a "tough decision" to let a film crew document her "raw emotion", which you can read more on here.

But despite being labelled the sport's most 'woke' boss, the retired defender actually endured a brutal upbringing. The second youngest of four brothers, Martin grew up in the Hollingbury area of Brighton and watched as his late Scots dad Dean was violent towards mum Kerry and had stints in prison. His family home was lost to his gambling debts — and he moved them next door to a bookies. In a recent podcast interview with footy legend Gary Lineker, Martin said: 'There was too much violence and it became a bit normal. From my dad to my mum. I witnessed a lot of it. A lot of my childhood was spent trying to placate the adults in my life. 'The problem with my dad was he had the capability to be amazing and really likeable but the gap between him at his best and worst was too big. 'And he was a big gambler so the day depended on how he did at the bookies and he worked nights on the taxis so you couldn't make a sound in the morning so it was eggshells a lot of the time and I spent a lot of time kicking the ball against the bookies' wall. 'My dad was great in some ways but I'd never do with my kids what he did with me.' Martin was forced to leave his troubled dad behind and look after his mum when they moved out to escape the violence at home. Despite the early trauma, he excelled at school where he was made head boy. And even after a string of top clubs rejected the budding footballer, he joined non-league side Lewes and cleaned windows and pub toilets in the mornings with his uncle and did shifts at a Spar supermarket across the road in the evenings to make some spare cash. Premier League boss Russell Martin has found love with former glamour model Lucy Pinder He got his break under Arsenal legend Tony Adams, 58, at Wycombe before moving on to Peterborough and Norwich — whose manager at the time, Celtic hero Paul Lambert, 55, has been a huge influence on his career. During this time the Scots stopper married bodybuilder Jasmine Martin and the pair had three children before splitting in 2023. Martin, who also enjoyed brief stints with Walsall, MK Dons and even Rangers in 2018, gave up meat and turned vegan for health reasons after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. He was part-owner of a vegan restaurant and later practiced meditation and breath work as he embraced Buddhism after finding religion through a book called 'The Buddha, Geoff and Me' by Edward Canfor-Dumas. Martin was preparing for his coaching career during his playing days — studying for his coaching badges at age 22, and going for his Uefa Pro Licence at the Scottish FA in 2019. He enjoyed successful spells in charge of MK Dons and Swansea City before his honeymoon period at Southampton — they were promoted to the English Premier League — came crashing down when they were relegated and he was sacked. Tom Felton to reprise role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
Tom Felton is reprising his role as Draco Malfoy for the Harry Potter And The Cursed Child play. The Surrey-born actor, who starred in all the film adaptations of JK Rowling's fantasy novel until the last movie in 2011, will make a comeback as Harry Potter's school bully on Broadway at the Lyric Theatre in New York later this year. The production said he was the 'first actor from the films to reprise' their role on stage, and this will be Felton's Broadway debut. The play, written by Adolescence co-creator Jack Thorne, began in 2016 in London and has had a Broadway run since 2018. It was co-devised by Rowling, and is set 19 years after the events of the seventh and final book, with Ministry of Magic employee Harry and his wife Ginny Weasley waving off their youngest son Albus Severus to school. The two-part play, which stretches over five hours, sees Albus struggle at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with the weight of his family legacy and go to extreme and dangerous lengths to right the wrongs of the past. Since the ending of the film franchise, Felton has been in 2011's Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and had recurring roles in the TV series Murder In The First, The Flash and Origin. He has also used his voice in the Harry Potter video games, based on the movie, and featured in the special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, who played Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The seven Harry Potter books are set to be brought to the small screen by HBO, with production beginning at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in summer 2025. The young stars have been cast with Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, and Alastair Stout as Ron, while the new Draco has not yet been confirmed. Earlier this year, British actor Paapa Essiedu and US star John Lithgow were confirmed as the cruel Professor Severus Snape and Hogwarts headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore, respectively. Also joining is Welsh comedian and actor Paul Whitehouse as the magic-less Hogwarts caretaker Argus Filch, and Hot Fuzz actor Nick Frost as the friendly groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid. This week sees some of the more popular movies of recent weeks hanging in there, along with some tantalising newcomers to enjoy from Spain, Argentina and India. But can Fear Street: Prom Queen carve out a place at the top of the charts for another week? Plenty of brutal, visceral action follows (Picture: Netflix) The first of this week's new entries is the latest instalment in this popular Indian action, Telugu-language franchise. The story follows a ruthless cop (Nani) who is sent by the Homicide Intervention Team (the titular HIT) to track down a group of killers on a grisly murder spree. Despite scoring mixed reviews when it was released in cinemas earlier this year, it's been a box office hit - with a fourth movie in the works (Picture: Netflix) Next up, it's another new entry from India - this one a Hindi-language action drama which flopped at the box office but is finding new life on Netflix. Salman Khan stars as the title character, an heir to the Rajkot Dynasty of Gujarat - who is motivated by a tragic accident to change the lives of three people, only to find himself targeted by a vengeful politician (Picure: Pen Marudhar Entertainment/Netflix) The Shrek movies have remained hugely popular over the past couple of decades - as have the spin-off movies dedicated to the swashbuckling Puss In Boots. (Picture: Netflix) After spending last week at number one this latest instalment in the Fear Street series has been scared off the top spot Based on the novels by RL Stine, it offers up plenty of 80s-era slasher movie thrills as the senior class of Shadyside High gears up for prom night and the election of its queen, with underdog Lori going head-to-head against the more popular girls. However, the night turns deadly when a masked killer starts picking off the candidates (Picture: Alan Markfield/Netflix) Crashing straight into the charts at number one is this Spanish murder mystery, which has racked up an impressive number of views in its first week of release.
