Yemeni military leadership visits frontline troops in Najran, al-Buqa', al-Ajasher, reaffirming Gaza support

Najran – Saba: A high-ranking delegation from the Yemeni Ministry of Defense, led by Deputy Chief of Military Operations Brigadier General Ismail Awadh, visited on Thursday frontline soldiers stationed in al-Buqa', Najran, and al-Ajasher coinciding with Eid al-Adha. The visit aimed to review the conditions of the troops and commend their steadfastness and high morale amidst ongoing duties and holiday celebrations. Brigadier General Awadh was accompanied by Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Sayani, Director of the Advanced Command and Control Center, and Colonel Mohammed Al-Shami, Director of Operations for the Ministry's Public Relations Department. They were welcomed by local commanders, including Brigadier General Ibrahim Jaber, Commander of the Al-Buqa' Axis and the 141st Brigade. During his address, Brigadier General Awadh praised the soldiers' discipline and readiness, acknowledging their sacrifices while celebrating Eid al-Adha in positions of honor. He also drew attention to the "heinous crimes" committed by the "Zionist entity" in Gaza, emphasizing Yemen's prominent position in supporting the Palestinian people and the global recognition of Yemen's steadfast stance. He attributed the Yemeni armed forces' "qualitative military development" to divine blessing and the leadership of Sayyid Abdulmalik al-Houthi, stressing the ongoing efforts to enhance military capabilities. Echoing these sentiments, Brigadier General Al-Sayani lauded the combat readiness and morale of the forces, highlighting their "heroic deeds" against the "coalition of aggression and its mercenaries." He underscored their vigilance and readiness to "continue the path of liberation and confront the forces of global arrogance, America, and the Zionist entity" in the "battle of the promised conquest and the holy jihad" in defense of the homeland and in support of Gaza. Colonel Al-Shami also commended the soldiers' heroism and sacrifices, stating that their contributions, alongside the free people of Yemen, have brought about "victory, honor, and dignity." In response, the frontline forces reaffirmed their high readiness to execute assigned tasks, renewing their pledge of loyalty to God, the homeland, the people, and the leadership, vowing to remain steadfast in defending Yemen and supporting their "brothers in Gaza," regardless of the challenges. Jordan condemns extremist Ben Gvir's al-Aqsa storming as "flagrant violation"

Amman – Saba: The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Wednesday strongly condemned the storming of al-Aqsa Mosque/al-Haram al-Sharif by Israeli extremist Criminal Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, under police protection. Jordan deemed it a "flagrant violation of international law," an "unacceptable escalation," and a provocation demanding immediate cessation. Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Sufian al-Qudah affirmed Jordan's absolute rejection of extremist Ben Gvir's continued incursions and the Israeli police's facilitation of repeated al-Aqsa breaches, alongside restrictions on Muslim worshippers. He stated this violates the historical and legal status quo and attempts temporal and spatial division, emphasizing that East al-Quds remains an occupied city without Israeli sovereignty. Ambassador al-Qudah warned of the consequences of these illegitimate violations against holy sites in al-Quds, urging Israeli enemy to halt all provocative practices by Ben Gvir, which continue the "dangerous escalation" in the occupied West Bank. He reiterated that the entire 144-dunam al-Aqsa Mosque area is exclusively for Muslim worship, with the Jordanian-affiliated al-Quds Endowments Department holding sole administrative jurisdiction.
