Development ministry delivers Eid convoy to Marib front, visits Bayda

Marib – Saba: The Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development on Tuesday dispatched an Eid convoy of sacrificial animals to fighters on Mal'a Front in al-Jawbah district in Marib governorate. Deputy Minister Nasser al-Mehdhar stated the convoy underscores the ministry's commitment to continuously supplying front lines with resources and support. Al-Mehdhar emphasized that this gesture is the least due to fighters sacrificing their lives for national defense, security, and independence. Al-Mahdhar affirmed that supporting frontlines is everyone's responsibility in recognition of their efforts against aggression. During his visit to Mal'a front, accompanied by the Governors of Shabwa, Awad al-Awlaqi, and Socotra, Hashim al-Soqtri, al-Mehdhar declared that the fighters' sacrifices have yielded victory, pride, and steadfastness, thwarting aggressor plans and enabling Yemen's unique position in supporting the Palestinian cause and Gaza. Shabwa governor praised the fighters' steadfastness and sacrifices. Al-Mehdhar and al-Soqtri visited al-Wahbiyah district in Bayda, meeting with local leaders and dignitaries. They exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and discussed administrative, development, and service needs. Al-Mehdhar urged increased cooperation between local government, social figures, and all community segments to meet citizen needs and improve services, emphasizing that development is a collaborative effort. Ibb - Saba: A meeting was held, chaired by Ibb Governor Abdul Wahid Salah, to discuss preparations for the implementation of the Retaining Wall Construction Project to protect the Watan Residential Neighborhood in As-Saddah District from flood damage. The Governor listened to a report by Engineer Abdo Masri from the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development on the damage caused to the neighborhood by floods in recent periods. He emphasized the importance of expediting the preparation of the project study and implementing it before the rainy season to protect citizens' homes and agricultural lands. The Governor emphasized the importance of cooperation between relevant authorities and the involvement of the local community to ensure the efficient implementation of the project and promote sustainable development. An expanded meeting was held in the As-Saddah Directorate, chaired by the Ministry's Director of Community Initiatives, to discuss the community's role in implementing the project. The meeting emphasized the Central Interventions Unit's support for the project with cement, diesel, and equipment, in addition to contributions from the local community and merchants to other service projects that have helped alleviate the suffering of the population.
