Love Island beauty Yasmin Broom has been turning heads in the Casa Amor villa - but she's no stranger to fame as she was in a girl band which split after lockdown
Love Island stunner Yasmin Broom has spilled the beans on her pop past, revealing she was once part of a girl band. The 26-year-old Manchester beauty is among the six bombshells set to shake things up in the Casa Amor villa.
But Yas isn't new to the spotlight; she graced our screens on ITV's The X Factor back in 2016. Yas was part of Four of Diamonds with Caroline Alvares, Lauren Rammell, and Sophia Saffarian, who made it to the live shows on the hit talent show.

Post-X Factor, the group landed a global record deal with EMI, marking them as the first girl band to do so since the iconic Spice Girls, reports OK!. In Monday's (July 7) Love Island episode, Yas opened up to Giorgio Russo about her musical journey: "I spent a bit of time in London, like four years.

"Before I was a DJ I was a singer, in a grid band. We were on The X Factor. We came eighth place."
Giorgio probed about the band's breakup, to which Yas disclosed: "Lockdown, cause we just couldn't perform or anything."

Fans were gobsmacked by Yas' revelation, taking to social media to express their astonishment.
On X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer exclaimed: "Just found out that this Casa Amor girl was on the X Factor in the girl group Four of Diamonds in 2016. I knew I've seen her face before."
Another fan reminisced: "I used to love four of diamonds."

A third chimed in: "FOUR OF DIAMONDS MENTION YES YAZ #loveislanduk #loveisland."
A fourth social media user exclaimed: "She was in FOUR OF DIAMONDS ? ? ? #LoveIsland."

Another chimed in: "YAZ MENTIONED THE X FACTOR AND FOUR OF DIAMONDS! real ones were obsessed with them at one point #LoveIsland".
After scoring a record deal, the girl group Four of Diamonds released their debut single 'Name On It', collaborating with Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, and followed up with tracks like 'Stupid Things' featuring Saweetie and 'Blind'.
In 2019, the band warmed up arenas for Rita Ora's UK tour and graced television screens with appearances on Blue Peter and Britain's Got More Talent.
They kept up the momentum by dropping more tunes through 2019 and 2020 and inked a new contract with Fascination Records before parting ways not long after.
Since the band's split, Yasmin carved out a solo career as a DJ, spinning at numerous UK festivals including Manchester's Parklife, before jetting off to Love Island.

Love Island star ‘gives away' he'll DUMP partner after the final as fans say ‘he's worked out she's using him'

LOVE Island fans are convinced Cach will dump Toni following the series final after spotting a major clue in last night's episode. The couple are enjoying a second wind after they initially split in the most brutal of ways. 4 4 Toni left Cach in tears after choosing to recouple with lothario Harrison, despite her telling him just hours before that she was done with the footballer. When Harrison quit the villa to be with Lauren days later, Toni and Cach rekindled and she joked that there'd be no more triangles. But it is still playing heavily on Cach's mind, according to viewers. They believe a comment he made to his sister, Ayjah, and brother, D'Shea, last night revealed the writing is on the wall. When asked if he thought things would work outside the villa, he told them: "It'll be difficult because she doesn't really live in the ends." Ayjah said: "Bring her to the ends, bro." London so we'll see." The less than enthusiastic response left some feeling deflated. One person wrote on Reddit: "I'm sad to say because I was really shipping them (and wanted them to win) but the family episode has really cemented for me how Cach is not into Toni at all." Another said: "He's playing a game and I'm sure she deep down knows this but has to also play the game now in the final week." A third said: "Neither of them are into each other, at least not anymore. They clearly have an unspoken agreement to stick with each other until the show ends and then it's over." Emotional moment Love Island star Cach admits he DOES still like Toni The siblings were so honest during their visit to the villa that even Toni felt they didn't like her. Tonight Toni tells Cach: 'I don't know. Bad vibes today.' He replies: 'From who?' Toni says: 'Your brother and sister - they don't like me.' Cach says: 'Toni, it's not that they don't like you.' Ayjah said last night that it hurt her to see her brother crying on TV. While D'Shae added: 'I had to look away.' When Toni and her family joined them, Ayjah said to Toni: "You know you made the wrong decision. "You are a cool person, it's just the communication, girl." She then went on to ask Toni how she felt about Cach but her body language was frosty. Fans of the show on social media were quick to reveal their feelings and one wrote: "I feel like this is going on tooooo long now and the awkwardness from Cach's siblings is making me cringe." 4 4

India said: "I was in a long-term relationship and then single for three years, I think I got the fear of dating. "You know when you go on those dates on the show, you feel so awkward. "It just put the first date fear of god into me and I didn't date for ages." Appearing on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right podcast, the host was keen to find out if she was dating again. India shared that she had initially been blocked from the dating app after it was thought her profile was fake. But after the hiccup, India was back on the site and ready to find love. India revealed: "After I came out of this series, the All Stars in January, I was like 'I need to get my act together' because I haven't dated anyone properly in ages, I'm getting older, I want to have kids... get a move on. "I downloaded Hinge and thought this is going to be great for me and then they deleted my profile for impersonation, they thought it was a fake account. "I had to redownload it and I had to send my passport and go through this whole palaver just to go on a first date with someone." Love Island viewers after star makes VERY rude comment about rival's family member She then shared her excitement of her blossoming new romance, saying: "But I finally got it back, went on a first date and the first guy I went on a date with was really nice. Olivia then asked if she was still dating the mystery man and a smitten India confirmed they were an item. It February India posted a dig at show partner Scott Thomas on her page. The model was dumped from the island alongside Marcel Somerville, but had spent the first week getting closer to Scott. However, their potential romance ground to a halt after a brutal game of Truth or Dare. After India declared him the 'most calculated in the villa', shortly after he saw his head turn towards bombshell Tina Stinnes, Scott didn't look too happy. It prompted him to declare: "That's just given me the ick mate. Big." But the swipe against her doesn't seem to have phased India, and in a TikTok in her car she is seen lipsyncing to a trend saying: "Did I say that? Did I? Do you know what, I don't remember saying that." She wrote across the clip: "Scott after calling me an ick." India was previously hailed the "most beautiful" Love Island contestant - before her beauty secrets were revealed. After leaving the villa, India admitted she had her eye on someone else on the show – but didn't make a move because of their age. "I think if Luca was a bit older then maybe Luca," India exclusively told The Sun. India previously took part on Love Island in 2019, during series five. She entered the villa as a bombshell and reached the final with Ovie Soko, finishing in third place, but the pair split four months after.
