'They're pressuring these creators to donate money': Nick Eh 30 claims MrBeast gets all the credit for Team Water donations

Image via: Instagram/Nick Eh 30 In the era of livestreaming and viral online challenges, giving has found its digital manifestation. MrBeast, who ranks among one of the biggest names on YouTube, started TeamWater on August 1, 2025, a massive movement to raise millions for clean-water access worldwide. In a little over two weeks, the efforts passed the $30 million mark, thanks to donations from fans, corporations, and other creators. Yet recognition for the extremely worthy cause has been an issue of contention within the creator community, with the debate spilling over into alleged pressuring tactics. Nick Eh 30 On The Pressure Talk Nick Eh 30, a Twitch streamer and Fortnite athlete, expressed his feelings during a recent broadcast, in which he basically said that while the cause was worthy, the somewhat forced participation from some creators put people on the fence about it. He mentioned, 'So, MrBeast gets all the credit. So, you know when he's, you know, asking people to donate on a stream and stuff and pressuring them. I just think it's kind of a little weird. Bro, when they're pressuring these creators to donate money and everything for that. I can see why some creators don't want to do it because it's MrBeast's name that gets all the recognition." The Recognition Dilemma Nick's question, which goes into the whole ownership theme, somehow lies at the heart of the entire critique. MrBeast has basically branded himself as an online philanthropist through TeamTrees and TeamSeas, two extraordinarily popular campaigns. TeamWater is in line with this legacy, but according to Nick, it could be to the detriment of much smaller creators. For some, the issue is not that they would refuse to donate for a worthwhile cause-it is in being pressured to do so in public spaces where refraining from it could be deemed socially frowned upon. In an environment where image and branding are everything, creators often weigh not only the financial cost of donation but also the optics of being a part of-or in some instances refusing to be-a well-publicized call to action. Big Synergy for a Big Cause In spite of the uneasy feelings, TeamWater this time received massive support. Top influencers such as Sophie Rain pledged seven figures in donations. At the same time, streaming behemoths such as Felix "xQc" and Adin Ross teamed with MrBeast for a marathon fundraising stream. Their initial ambition was continuous streaming to collect $12 million, but the campaign has more than doubled that target. For the supporters, the huge response has proved that the end justifies the means. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. Watch Here!

Taylor Swift recalls weeping with Travis Kelce after getting her master albums: 'I was like, I got my music back...'

Taylor Swift has always been charting headlines – whether it's about a casual announcement of her upcoming album 'The Life of a Showgirl' or getting spotted on a dinner date with her beau, Travis Kelce . However, one of the most prominent and life-changing events that happened with the billionaire singer was her earning back all her masters, leading her to own her entire catalogue and more. Taylor Swift narrates the incident with Travis Kelce In a recent appearance on the 'New Heights' podcast by the Kelce brothers, Swift recalled the moment she knew that she won the great war. The 35-year-old narrated the timeline of her pursuit of the purchase and getting the rights to her art. 'I thought about not owning my music every day. It was like an intrusive thought I had every day,' she said about her distressed mind before the May announcement. "I want it because this is my handwritten diary entries from my whole life," she explained, before adding, "These are the songs I wrote about every phase of my life. This is my photography, my music videos, most of which I funded, my artwork. Everything that I've ever done is in this catalogue." When the 'My Tears Ricochet' singer started explaining how she thought of sending her mother, Andrea Swift, and her brother, Austin Swift, to communicate with the then-owners, Swift choked up while being teary-eyed. She said, 'Sorry — this happens, because I don't ever really talk about it because…' 'They sat down with Shamrock Capital and told them what this meant to me,' she continued, as Travis Kelce held her with a smile. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Use an AI Writing Tool That Actually Understands Your Voice Grammarly Install Now Undo Taylor Swift recalls tearing up after the win Tearing up, Taylor recalled that she was in Kansas City with her boyfriend, and she received a call from her mother. Last Updated: Prajakta Koli Sangeet Video: YouTube star Prajakta Koli reacts to her viral 'Mere Husband Mujhko Pyar Nahi Karte' video from her wedding to Vrishank Khanal. YouTube sensation and Mismatched star Prajakta Koli said 'I do" to her boyfriend of 11 years, Vrishank Khanal, on February 25. After the big day, the couple celebrated with a fun-filled party — complete with a viral moment of Prajakta shaking a leg to Sunil Grover's hilarious Mere Husband Mujhko Piyar Nahin Karte. Her unconventional choice of song had the internet in splits and fans couldn't get enough of her quirky, cheeky performance. And now, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha during the promotions of her new show Andhera, Prajakta shared behind-the-scenes of the viral video. The viral video featured Prajakta performing alongside friends, including comedian Mallika Dua and actor Mithila Palkar. While singing, she looked at Vrishank and mouthed, 'Zindagi barbaad ho gaya, inko aata hi nahi hai, inko pata hi nahi hai, romance nahi karte, dance nahi karte, inko paddi hi nahi hail" (My life is ruined; he doesn't know how to do anything, he has no clue, he doesn't do romance, he doesn't dance, he just doesn't care). The performance had the wedding guests in splits, with laughter echoing in the background. Recalling the evening, she said, 'I couldn't walk straight! That's how many beverages I had had at that point. And I mean our family and our friends — they were actually lovely. We told them that we don't want to share too much content. Par har family mein woh ek mausi toh hoti hai. Humari waali aayi thi Jaipur se. She shot it and uploaded it. And of all the things that she could have shared, I wouldn't have minded most of it (laughs)! It was actually released after 3-4 days of the wedding. And it kind of did what it did! There is actually no story behind it. It is just mimosas!" Prajakta and Vrishank's wedding was held at a picturesque farm in Karjat, Maharashtra, with close friends and family in attendance. Prajakta Koli rose to fame with her YouTube channel MostlySane, which has over 7.23 million subscribers. She has also featured in Netflix's Mismatched, Prime Video's Andhera and in films like JugJugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor as well as in Vidya Balan's thriller film Neeyat. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
