A number of fraudulent messages, often claiming to offer exam postponement, leaked question papers, or guaranteed marks, have recently circulated under the NBEMS name.
In a notice dated July 10, 2025, the Board clarified that its only official websites are natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in, and that it does not communicate via unofficial channels. It also introduced an official WhatsApp channel, urging students to verify any suspicious message.
Candidates are advised to remain alert, verify all updates from the source, and report phishing attempts.

Look for QR codes on notices:
Every official NBEMS notice released since July 2020 includes a QR code. Scanning this code redirects users to the corresponding notice on the official website. Notices without this verification should be treated with suspicion.
Watch out of misinformation
NBEMS has highlighted several types of scams currently targeting NEET-PG 2025 aspirants. One common tactic includes spreading false information about the exam schedule, such as bogus claims that the test has been postponed.

The scheme focuses on voluntary, community-driven surveillance and response, ensuring that those most familiar with the landscape and patterns of elephant movement can respond quickly and effectively. The official added that to discourage elephants from entering villages and farmlands, the scheme includes the creation and restoration of local elephant habitats stocked with their preferred food, such as bamboo and Napier grass. Apart from the Gaja Mitra scheme, NFR is carrying out the installation of an AI-enabled Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to detect the movement of elephants on the train lines so that the speed of the trains can be controlled to protect the elephants. The Habaipur-Lumding section and the Kamakhya-Mirza section of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) are the two sections where the Railways have completed the installation of the AI-enabled IDS and started its operation to detect the movement of elephants on the train lines. NFR Chief Public Relation Officer Kapinjal Kishore Sharma said that the installation of the AI-enabled IDS has started in four more railway sections in Jorhat, Dhekiajuli, North Lakhimpur, and Goalpara district.

Thousands assemble at Mahakal for final Shravan Somvar procession

Devotees saw Lord Chandramoulishwar in the palanquin, Lord Manmahesh on Gajaraj, the Shiva Tandava statue on the Garuda chariot, and the Uma Mahesh Mukharvind on the Nandi chariot. Before the procession in the afternoon, cabinet minister Uday Pratap Singh performed worship and rituals for Lord Chandramoulishwar's form in the assembly hall. IIT-Kharagpur adopts 3-language formula with stress on Bengali
1 2 3 4 Kolkata: IIT Kharagpur has gone tri-lingual under current director Suman Chakraborty, with an emphasis on Bengali, to promote the importance of regional language and to communicate with non-faculty staff, including housekeepers, gardeners, and maintenance crew, "effectively, without any language barrier". Chakraborty himself has English, Bengali and Hindi on his name plates outside his office and bungalow. He is the first director to put up his name in Bengali. Chakraborty said, "I did it symbolically, to initiate a cultural transformation and to reflect a change in our thoughts, following the three-language formula mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020.
