Conwy couple one step away from winning 'dream' farm!
Viewers will see Ryan and Lowri go head-to-head against remaining hopefuls Sara and Ioan, from Ceredigion and Gwynedd, in a sheep dog trial in the last episode on Saturday, May 3.
The couples will also present their business plans to Trystan Edwards, Eryri General Manager, and Giles Hunt, Land and Estates Director for all of the National Trust, in a bid to be crowned the new tenants of a 600-acre dream farm in Eryri (Snowdonia).
Over the last few weeks, seven applicants have battled it out to become the new tenants of unique hill farm Llyndy Isaf, Nant Gwynant, by completing real-life farming tasks.
Applicants have now been whittled down to just two.
Ryan and Lowri live just 20 miles away from the farm. The husband and wife duo, who have two young children, hope the tenancy will be a chance to combine Ryan's passion for hill farming and Lowri's desire to welcome tourists to the farm.
Ryan is a first generation farmer but has built up his livestock throughout his career and hopes to bring them to the farm.
Lowri said: "We've benefited a lot from this experience."
Ryan said: "We came as a married couple but we are leaving here as business partners."
Ryan admitted to Matt that without Lowri, he couldn't do "any of my things".
Lowri said to Ryan: "I'm just proud to see you in your element and seeing you grow in the past eight years."
The couple said they "don't give up easily". They said the tenancy will allow them to grow as a family and individually and give them a chance to "make their mark".
Llyndy Isaf has been in the care of National Trust Cymru since the charity bought the farm in 2012 after a successful public appeal.
Throughout the series, applicants have been monitored by Trystan and Giles.
Trystan Edwards, general manager for Eryri, National Trust Cymru, said:
'It's a privilege to have a farm in Wales selected for this programme. Llyndy is an incredible landscape, from the shores of Llyn Dinas to the heather clad ridge of Mynydd Llyndy, it holds a special place for nature, people and history."
The winners, who will be offered a life changing 15-year tenancy of the farm, will be revealed in the episode on May 3.

The National Trust site gets its white sands from the soft shells that form its shores, while the crystal-clear waters and freshwater stream make it a must-visit on those hot summer days. Wildlife fans may also want to keep their eyes peeled for the variety of birds that call the region home, not to mention you can even spot basking sharks and dolphins between May and October. The travel experts at have named it as one of their go-to 'dupes' for Spain, explaining: "If you're looking for a beach in the UK that offers white sand, dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters and lush greenery similar to the Costa Brava in north-east Spain, then head to Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall. "Reminiscent of a tropical paradise, the beach is framed by towering cliffs, providing a peaceful retreat from the wind, and a scenic backdrop that enhances its secluded and calm atmosphere. Lastly, the beach's clear waters make it ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and exploring marine life." Over on Tripadvisor, visitors have plenty of positive reviews of the shoreline, although a few have warned that the nearby car park can fill up quickly so you may want to have a few alternatives in your back pocket if you are planning to visit. "What a lovely beach," wrote one happy holidaymaker. "Fairly small bay with clean sand. It has quite a steep drop off so isn't great for children playing in the surf. It has toilets, a cafe and car park very close." Another added: "A must do on your trip to Cornwall. Parking is difficult so plan ahead. The sea positively sparkles in the sunlight. It's one of the most picturesque spots on the island." For one holidaymaker, even some bad luck with the weather couldn't affect the beauty of the area. They wrote: "Just stunning. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. First time at Porthcurno and will definitely be returning. Just hope it doesn't rain this time." Meanwhile, fans of the hit TV show Poldark may also recognise the spectacular coastline, as it served as a filming location. According to the National Trust, it doubled up as Nampara Cove in the first season, as well as the second series where it provided the backdrop for a dream sequence in which Demelza and Ross enjoy a stroll. There's plenty to see and do in the area too. One major highlight has to be the iconic Minack Theatre, a unique outdoor theatre that's built into the cliffs and overlooks sea, making for some seriously Instagram-worthy views. Meanwhile hikers may want to don their sturdy boots and take on one of the countless trails along the cliffs; the South West Coastal Path passes through the region if you're looking to tick it off the bucket list!

And you'd struggle to find better views than those from our window in the Fraser Suites. There are hundreds of hotels and apartments to choose from in Edinburgh, but these four-star apartments have got to be among the best. My fiancé Ryan and I had booked to stay for a couple of nights, and we were beyond excited. When we arrived, we were greeted by a stunning stone building surrounded by beautiful greenery, bushes, and trees — it looked like we had just stepped into an exotic hotel somewhere in Europe. Inside, that feeling continued; the whole place exuded luxury, even the reception desk, which sat between bright white pillars with golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. But it was our room that completely knocked it out of the park. We were lucky enough to bag ourselves the Courant Suite on the second floor. It was gorgeous, incredible and massive. Walking through the door, the first sight that met us was the beautiful seating area with gold and cream wallpaper, floor-to-ceiling windows and a huge grey Chesterfield sofa, where we instantly plumped ourselves down and drank in that view. Scots holiday park named one of best in world There was a fab wee mini kitchen area, complete with a dishwasher, oven, sink and hob where you could make dinner or whip up a delicious breakfast if you wanted — great for longer stays or for those with kids I'd imagine but cooking was definitely not on my mind, not with the fabulous places Edinburgh has to eat out. Even the bathroom suite was huge, tiled floor to ceiling with an incredible waterfall shower over the bath. The bedroom's king-size bed, with a massive padded headboard, faced a huge TV. Late night viewing was a must — as was catching up with the world next morning, cuppa in hand, enjoying a lazy Sunday morning. Still in our jammies, we eventually dragged ourselves out of the bliss-like bed to drink in more of the incredible views of the castle from the windows. See I could have sat there all day just people watching, but the allure of the city beat us into submission, and we headed out to enjoy all the capital had to offer. We wandered up the Royal Mile to the castle, stopping at a restaurant we'd never tried on the way back for a lovely, laid-back lunch. That's the thing about Edinburgh — no matter how often I come through, I always find a charming new place that surprises me. We then relaxed in what was a rare sunny afternoon in Princes Street Gardens, popped into a lovely wee bar in George Street for a coffee and browsed a few of the city's lovely independent little shops. When we got back to the room, we enjoyed a couple of drinks on that huge sofa. It was so comfortable that we decided to stay in, get cosy and just relax. Then we enjoyed another incredible sleep in that amazing big bed. I was out like a light, and in the morning, I woke up with the sound of bagpipes playing in the distance. Ryan made a special return to the show for a week of episodes after a 10-year absence in order to aid Sue's exit. Fellow actress Katy Cavanagh also reprised her role as Eileen's sister Julie in the weeks leading up to her exit before being killed off. Now, Ryan has taken to Instagram to share a video of the emotional moment that Sue wrapped on her final scenes inside the Grimshaw house. In the clip, the crew behind the camera can be seen clapping Sue as she wrapped on her final take. She embraced co-star Tony Maudsley, who played her now-ex George Shuttleworth, Sue then hugged Ryan and fellow co-star Gareth Pierce before show boss Kate Brooks jumped in to deliver a speech. Wheeling off a list of facts, Kate boomed: "Just to say, this wonderful woman has done 25 years on the street, 2444 episodes - which is a lot. "I think there has been 15 slaps, nine of them as Jason and bust-ups with Gail so quite an eventful 25 years - three proposals!" Looking rather unsure, Kate then added: "I think you are the only character to come to Coronation Street and stay at number 11." Coronation Street icon quits cobbles after 25 years as she makes life changing decision Ryan went on to pen his own, more heartfelt tribute over the top of the video, as he wrote: "it has been an honour to watch, act & learn alongside you one last time. "Can't wait to watch you shine in your next chapter. "Love you always." The Sun exclusively revealed in January that she had quit the show after 25 years on the Salford set to look for new acting opportunities. 'The door is still firmly open but as I reached my 60th year, I decided it was time to embrace change, look for new adventures and live fearlessly,' she explained. One of Sue's major next steps is to being a regular panellist on Loose Women after first appearing on the daytime panel show in 2023. Sue took a break from Corrie last year to star in Sister Act The Musical as Mother Superior and appeared in reality show I'm A Celebrity in 2022.
