Illinois Sermon By Professor Emeritus At Western Illinois University, Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi: Why Are The '185,000 Jews Who Were Killed In Germany By The Nazis' Still Remembered, While Anyone In
Siddiqi further asserted that while "the 185,000 Jews who were killed in Germany by the Nazis" are still remembered, this was over the course of seven years, whereas, he claimed, 186,000 Muslim Palestinians were killed in seven months.
Dr. Siddiqi is an interfaith leader and a founding member of the World Council for Muslim Interfaith Relations (WCMIR), and he is the founder and former president of the Islamic Center of Macomb.
Dr. Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi: "Why did it happen that the 185,000 Jews who were killed in Germany by the Nazis – they are still remembered, and 186,000 Muslims... Those 185,000 Jews were killed in seven years, and in seven months Israel has killed more than 186,000 Palestinians. In this country, you cannot raise your voice. [If you do], you are being deported, you are being arrested."

Peoria, Illinois Sermon By Imam Mazhar Mahmood, Who Claims To Be 'Active In Interfaith Community': Muslims Must Not Build Political Ties With Zionists; The Jews Of Medina, In Their Carnal Desires, Plo
Imam Mazhar Mahmood of the Islamic Foundation of Peoria, IL, said in his August 8, 2025 Friday sermon that "alleged" Muslims suggest building "political situations" with the Zionists for the sake of stability, and he asked whether Muslims have "stooped so low." He prayed for Allah to liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the "filth of the plundering Jews." Mahmood urged Muslims to understand their legacy and learn why the Prophet Muhammad expelled the Jews from Medina, telling a narrative from early Islamic days, of Jews harassing a Muslim woman. Mahmood, originally from Toronto, Canada, is also president of Peoria for Palestine. On his website, he claims to be "active in the interfaith community". Mazhar Mahmood: "Does anyone know why the Prophet kicked out the Jews from Medina – namely, Banu Qaynuqa – by their inception? Read history, my friends, understand what our legacy is. [...] "So, of course, the Jews detested this – that a woman dressing like the Muslims is present in their society. [...] "In their carnal desires, they were eager to get a glance at this woman, so they devised, they deliberated, they plotted. [...] "What they do is they take the bottom portion of her clothing and they tie it with her khimar, with her hijab, so when she gets up, what happens? Her bottom is revealed. [...] "How similar is today to yesterday, when you see hundreds of thousands of children and women, innocent men, falling, being starved to death, yet, some Muslims – alleged Muslims – say: 'We need to build political situations with these Zionists. We need to have political stability.' Have we stooped so low, my friends? Oh Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the plundering Jews."

He advised Palestinians to maintain their victim status and not become criminals again in order to achieve their goals.
