Rangers discover Champions League qualifying opponents
Russell Martin's side will face Panathinaikos as they enter the competition next month.
Rangers were a seeded team in this morning's draw in Nyon, Switzerland, where they were paired against the Greek side.
As they were first out of the hat for their tie, Rangers are set to be the home team and play the first leg at Ibrox before heading to Greece for the return fixture.
The matches will be played on July 22/23 and 29/30.

AEK - whose fierce rivals Panathinaikos face Rangers in the Champions League - were taken over by shipping magnate Marios Iliopoulos last year and the new owner is ready to push the boat out to land Dessers. But Sport Time report that AEK hope to agree a fee of around £3.8million - with Rangers 'not at that level yet' on a player they paid £4.5m for, instead holding out for nearer £5m. The Nigeria international has been the subject of regular interest in recent windows, with his agent Stijn Franics revealing that he had as many as TEN clubs sniffing about his signature back in January. Dessers' former Ibrox team-mate Tom Lawrence is on the hunt for a new club after his injury-plagued time in Scotland came to an end. The Wales international spent three seasons in Govan but was often on the treatment table as he failed to show his quality. Hometown club Wrexham - newly promoted to the English Championship - are said to be interested along with Midlands rivals Coventry City and West Brom. Meanwhile, the Rangers Review report that Oscar Cortes has returned to Glasgow early in a bid to hit the ground running under new boss Russell Martin. The Colombian cost the club £4.5m from French side Lille after an initial loan spell but has also suffered with injuries.

And while AEK are keen to land the striker, a report in Greece has claimed the Athens outfit are trying to lower the fee they would have to pay. That's led to a snag in talks, with Gers not willing to budge, reports Sportime. AEK Athens don't want to pay more than £3.8m (€4.5m). That would translate to a net loss for Rangers, who spent £4.5m to land the Nigerian international from Serie A side Cremonese. Naturally, Rangers want to try and make a profit on a player who, while far from perfect, was the team's top scorer last season. The hitch could slow Rangers down in their own pursuit of top targets, with the Light Blues linked to Israeli striker Dor Turgeman and veteran Premier League cult hero Jamie Vardy in recent weeks. Russell Martin is desperate for fresh faces for his summer rebuild and with the club's first Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos just a month away, the new recruitment team led by Kevin Thelwell and Dan Purdy will have to act fast. Dessers' age is a stumbling block and will be a factor when all parties are discussing potential add-ons or sell-on clauses as part of the deal. He has turned into something of a divisive figure at Ibrox despite netting 51 goals in 109 appearances for the club. When Newcastle United were bought by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund many thought the club would soon be awash with new recruits costing kings' ransoms. It hasn't worked out that way.
