AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – An Akron woman is celebrating after she recently purchased a winning lottery ticket worth $150,000.
The Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 25X scratch-off ticket was sold at the Circle K on S. Hawkins Avenue in Akron. The winner said the convenience store is her go-to spot for lottery tickets.
'I sat there in disbelief,' she told lottery officials, recounting the moment she scratched off the winning ticket.

The woman said she called her friend right away to look over the ticket and make sure she won.
'I couldn't process it until I got to the Canton office to make a claim,' she told lottery officials.

After mandatory state and federal taxes, she will take home about $108,000. The woman told lottery officials she plans on using her winnings to help buy a new house.
