During the conversation, Sterger offered a deeper dive into the evidence she received back in 2008 while Favre was quarterbacking for the New York Jets. She stated she never met Favre in person but believes it was him based on the voicemails left on her phone.
"I never met Brett Favre," she said. "The only reason that I assume that it's him is because of the voicemails."
She explained that the nature of early 2000s tech played an unexpected role in exposing the messages.
With no deepfakes or voice-altering apps available back then, she believes the audio clips were genuine. The explicit photos, she noted, were sent via T-mail, a once-popular messaging feature on Sidekick phones.

60 more city schools get hoax bomb threats, second such email in a week
New Delhi: Several schools across the city received bomb threats on Wednesday, triggering widespread emergency responses and marking the second time this week that schools in the national capital got such threats. They were later declared a hoax. The email, sent around 8.57pm on Tuesday, was tagged to more than 380 email IDs targeting over 60 schools. Sources said the sender used a VPN to send the mail. Authorities deployed Delhi Police's bomb disposal squads, cybercrime units and dog squads to conduct checks at affected school campuses. Bomb disposal experts used advanced detection equipment to eliminate potential explosive threats. As a precautionary measure, fire tenders and ambulances were stationed outside school premises. A federal judge in Manhattan has denied the US government's request to unseal grand jury transcripts related to the sex trafficking case against late financier Jeffrey Epstein , saying the records offer limited value compared to the wider case file already held by the department of justice, reported news agency AP.
