Rangers-linked Bojan Miovski open to Scotland return
His goals earned him a £6.5m move to Girona last summer.
However, the North Macedonian managed just seven goals in 34 matches for the La Liga side in what turned out to be a disappointing debut season in Spain.
Miovski told RG.org: 'My career will probably last for another 10 years, and I cannot predict the future, but I do not rule out the possibility of wearing Aberdeen's shirt again one day.
'I was really appreciated within the club, and I love the club as well.
'I felt really good there, and if I return there one day, winning a trophy would be at the top of my list.

'Every player wants to win trophies, and for me, personally, I regret the fact that I did not manage to lift a trophy during my two years with Aberdeen.
'But I am really glad that they won the Scottish Cup now, and I am especially happy for my former teammates who played with me in the Scottish League Cup final back in 2023-24 that we lost.
'This is what football is all about — winning trophies.
'My desire to wear the shirt and my ambition to always score a goal and secure a win played a key role in me becoming so loved at the club and building up such a strong connection with the supporters.
'Their fans are unbelievable, and I still receive a lot of messages from them to this day, which makes me very happy.'

Former Rangers boss ‘close to joining Liverpool' ahead of Premier League title defence

Anfield boss Arne Slot is preparing to reshuffle his coaching staff ahead of their Premier League title defence next season. And it's being reported that ex-Gers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will replace him. The Times say van Bronckhorst is poised to become Slot's new assistant coach. Van Bronckhorst guided the Ibrox side to the Europa League final and a Scottish Cup victory in 2022. But he was sacked a few months later after a string of poor results in the Champions League and in the Scottish Premiership. The Dutchman remained out of work for a year-and-a-half before stepping back into the dugout with Turkish giants Besiktas last year. But he lasted just 20 games in charge, winning only ten and drawing four, losing six. The former Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona star was replaced by Manchester United icon Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as at the Istanbul club. Van Bronckhorst remains a legend at Feyenoord, having played there in two spells and winning the Eredivisie as a manager. Slot and van Bronckhorst's stints in the dugout at Feyenoord led to similar successes. Moment Ally McCoist interrupts live radio to congratulate his 'wee pal' on signing for Rangers Van Bronckhorst won the league and two Dutch Cups over 176 games, with a win rate of 61 percent. Slot won the league once and the Dutch Cup once and amassed a win percentage of 65 percent, prior to his move to Liverpool. Van Bronckhorst, 50, was previously linked with a return to Feyenoord but they appointed Robin van Persie instead. He also turned down an approach from SC Heerenveen back in March. Liverpool are also on the verge of completing a blockbuster move for Florian Wirtz. The German superstar could be followed in the door at Anfield by PSG ace Bradley Barcola and Newcastle United talisman Alexander Isak in what would be a wild £300m summer spending spree. The Reds have already forked out £29.5m on Wirtz's Leverkusen team-mate, former Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong. Bournemouth's 21-year-old left-back Milos Kerkez is also being eyed as a potential replacement for Scotland hero Andy Robertson. 2 Giovanni van Bronckhorst won the Scottish Cup with Rangers Credit: Getty Images - Getty Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Gabriel urges Arsenal to sign 'phenomenal' £67m transfer target this summer
Gabriel Magalhaes has endorsed Arsenal's push to sign Real Madrid midfielder Rodrygo in the summer transfer window. Mikel Arteta is keen for Arsenal to add another versatile attacking player to his squad alongside a new striker ahead of next season. Rodrygo, meanwhile, was signed in a €45 million (£39.3m) deal from Brazilian side Santos in 2018 and has won 13 trophies during his time at Madrid, including three La Liga titles and the Champions League on two occasions. However, Madrid have contemplated selling Rodrygo this summer and the 24-year-old is due to hold talks with new head coach Xabi Alonso before making a decision over his future at the Santiago Bernabeu. Arsenal and Chelsea have already expressed an interest in signing Rodrygo this summer and it's understood that Madrid would demand a €80m (£67.5m) transfer fee for the Brazil international, who finished this season with 14 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. Gabriel plays alongside Rodrygo for Brazil's national side and the defender admits he would have no hesitation in recommending the winger to Arsenal this summer. During his appearance on the Podpah Podcast, Gabriel was asked if he knows whether Arsenal will sign Rodrygo this summer. 'I don't. No, I don't, not really,' Gabriel replied. 'But I'd like obviously. Rodrygo is a phenomenon, for me. He's not at Arsenal… If it depended on me, I've told people already, he's a phenomenon. More Trending 'His name is mentioned a lot. If it was up to me, of course.' Speaking last month, Alonso gave no indication that he would allow Madrid to sell Rodrygo this summer. 'Rodrygo is a Real Madrid player, and I will speak with everyone who is part of Real Madrid,' Alonso said. 'Rodrygo is a spectacular player and we will need him. He deserves it, and so do we.' Historic football club become first SPFL team since Rangers to be liquidated and reformed as newco
The club has a long history and even won the Scottish Cup MONEY MATTERS Historic football club become first SPFL team since Rangers to be liquidated and reformed as newco DUMBARTON will become the first SPFL club to be liquidated since Rangers, after a rescue plan to reform as a newco was finalised. Formed in 1872, they are of Scotland's oldest senior clubs and their storied history includes two league championships (one shared with Rangers) and a Scottish Cup win. Advertisement 1 Dumbarton vs Rangers at 'The Rock' in 2014 Credit: Keith Campbell - The Sun Glasgow But those triumphs were back in the 1800s and for the majority of their modern existence, Dumbarton have bounced around the lower leagues of Scottish football. The Sons won the old First, Second and Third Division titles and as recently as last year they won promotion to League One via the play-offs. But they were plunged into administration in November, which saw them docked 15 points and they were relegated back to League Two. Manager Stevie Farrell has been in post since 2021 but his future could too now be up in the air. Advertisement The club was bought over by Canadian businessman Mario Lapointe and there was hope they would exit administration via a creditors voluntary agreement. However, with the new season just a month away (Premier Sports Cup fixtures start on July 12) there were fears a deal wouldn't be reached in adequate time, A progress report by administrators Quantuma, first seen by The Herald, has now confirmed that the club will be dissolved and replaced by a new company. It will be called Dumbarton Football Club 1872 Ltd, and is wholly owned by Lapointe. Advertisement Rangers went through a similar process in 2012, with the club going into administration and then the company being dissolved. A statement, first reported by The Herald, said: 'The proposed exit route (from administration) is now dissolution. Moment Ally McCoist interrupts live radio to congratulate his 'wee pal' on signing for Rangers 'The administrators will seek approval from the creditors to this variation via a decision procedure using the consent process and, assuming agreement is obtained, will file a notice of dissolution. 'A funding requirement of circa £140,000 was highlighted for the team to complete the season. This funding requirement increases to c. £200k when carried through to the end of June 2025. Advertisement 'The shortfall has been funded by £118,384 raised by fans and the receipt of a £30,000 non refundable commitment fee which will be discussed further below. The balance of the shortfall will be met from the sale consideration.' Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
