WWE SmackDown results and highlights (8/15/2025): Alexa Bliss takes down Piper Niven, Street Profits stay winning, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, & Jimmy Uso defeat MFT, and more
WWE SmackDown (Image via WWE) WWE 's Friday Night SmackDown's August 15th edition took place live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As the promotion inches towards its upcoming PLE, Clash in Paris, WWE is now using the time to further develop the storylines currently working. From Randy Orton to Drew McIntyre to the MFTs, many prominent stars are set to make an appearance tonight. And the Boston crowd looked ready to welcome everyone in their midst. Newly crowned WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, and WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton have also been advertised for tonight. And one half of the newest Tag team champions, Alexa Bliss , is set to take on Secret Hervice member Piper Niven. Let's see what tonight has in store for the fans. The night starts with the MFTs making their entrance, as Solo Sikoa reminds everyone that he and, by extension, their group run SmackDown. Before they can make any more tall claims, Sami Zayn comes in, who remembers he has never held the United States Championship. And maybe it's time to do that. Zayn also announced that he is now on SmackDown, and the confrontation soon turns into a fight. But it's not a fair fight from the beginning, as Sami Zayn is fighting all the members of MFT on his own. But not for long, as first Jimmy Uso , and then Jacob Fatu come in to even out the odds. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then comes out on stage to welcome the newest member of the division and announces that Sami Zayn is now the main event for tonight in a trio match, teaming with Jim Uso and Jacob Fatu against any three members of the MFTs. Alexa Bliss vs. Piper Niven The first match of the night belonged to Alexa Bliss and Piper Niven. Charlotte Flair, Alba Fyre, and Chelsea Green are also present. Niven comes in strong in the first few minutes, and Green runs interference for her, but soon, Bliss has had enough. She goes for a series of somersault sentons, followed by a DDT. Green tries to interfere again, but Flair is there to trip her up this time. Alba Fyre also tries to help Niven, but Bliss knocks her down. The match ends soon enough, after Little Miss Bliss defeats Niven with a schoolboy pin. Alexa Bliss wins via pinfall. Unfortunately, in the post-game chaos, Green and her Secret Hervice members overwhelm the WWE Women's Tag team champions, and stand tall saluting the audience while Bliss and Flair are lying on the mat. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) vs. Melo Don't Miz (Carmelo Hayes & the Miz ) The Miz and Axiom start the match, but fans also see Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis in the crowd, which seems to distract Miz. It's a series of Monkey flip, stereo bridges, enzuigiri, and DDT. Tags come one after the other, and the Fraxiom looks to be in control in the first half. In the last few moments, fans see Melo Hayes hit a final cut off the top, and while he had other plans, The Miz manages to tag himself in and goes for a Skull-Crushing Finale on Frazier. Melo is stunned by the sudden move, but they are the winners. Melo Don't Miz win via pinfall. Jade Cargill, who a few minutes back was confronting Jade Cargill and Nia Jax backstage, now meets Kiana James. James tells her she could team up with Giulia if Stratton wanted backup, but the latter brushes her off and walks away after a brief conversation. Mia Yim then comes in with a kendo stick over her shoulder and informs James that Giulia is set to fight her next. Next up, Drew McIntyre gets on the stage and addresses the situation with Cody Rhodes, and explains why he hit Rhodes with a Claymore. He has a speech prepared it seems, and gives the audience a glimpse into his plans. He is not the bad guy, but if provoked, he won't hesitate to do bad things. Lastly, he wishes for Rhodes to get well soon and takes the exit, but not before hitting the fans with a smug grin. #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) Tommaso Ciampa and Montez Ford start the fight, and #DIY lo oka to be in control at the beginning. A Penalty Kick from the apron, Candice LaRae throwing B-Fab into the steel steps, a Knee Trembler, a Fairytale Ending, a Frankensteiner off the apron by LeRae, who later gets wiped by B-Fab, and finally Ford off the top with the splash later, we have a winner. With a lateral press from Angelo Dawkins on Tommaso Ciampa, the fight comes to an end. Street Profits win via pinfall. Backstage, Melo Hayes comes up to SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, who is chatting with Motor City Machine Guns, and asks for a United States Championship match. But The Miz rolls in to play peacemaker. MCMG mocks Melo, and Aldis stops things from escalating by announcing another tag team match for next week - MCMG vs. Melo Don't Miz. We then see R-Truth backstage, who is over the moon to have his childhood hero, John Cena back. But suddenly, Aleister Black comes in to ask Truth if he was this excited about his other friend, Damian Priest. The former gets serious, and Black says he will see him next week before walking off. Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, & Jimmy Uso vs. MFTs (JC Mateo, Solo Sikoa, & Tonga Loa) Jimmy Uso and JC Mateo start off the last match of the night, and Big Jim is all over JC within minutes. Tag goes to Sami Zayn, who comes in with a diving axhandle to the elbow. Tonga Loa gets tagged in next, but at the corner, Solo Sikoa chokes Zayn, while Talla Tonga, who is not in the match tonight, gets in a cheap shot as well. Zayn is in the ring for a while, unable to tag in his partners, as Sikoa and the MFT take turns dominating him. Zayn gets in a few good hits from time to time, but mostly he is the one taking the hits. It takes a while, but he finally manages to tag Jacob Fatu in, who charges in at Loa. The match finally ends with quite a few things happening simultaneously. Fatu hits Talla Tonga, who tried to run interference, with a superkick and sends him over the announcer's desk. Zayn, on the other hand, manages to block a Samoan Spike with a knee and throws Sikoa into the corner with the exploder suplex. Finally, with a Helluva Kick from Zayn on Sikoa, the match comes to an end. Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, & Jimmy Uso win via pinfall. Logan Paul marries model Nina Agdal in romantic Lake Como ceremony ahead of John Cena clash
WWE star Logan Paul and Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal tied the knot in a lavish wedding at Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, August 15, with close family and friends in attendance. Logan Paul and Nina Agdal tied the knot in Italy (Instagram/@jakepaul) A lakeside celebration The 30-year-old YouTube personality and WWE wrestler exchanged vows with 33-year-old Agdal at a scenic venue overlooking Lake Como, according to a report in E News. Paul wore a white tuxedo jacket with black trousers, while Agdal stunned in a traditional wedding gown. Jake Paul, Logan's younger brother, shared clips of the ceremony on Instagram, showing the couple saying their vows. He admitted the moment moved him deeply, captioning his post: 'I've seriously been crying.' A venue with a special meaning Lake Como holds special meaning for the couple. It was here in July 2023 that Logan proposed, just over a year after they were first spotted together at a London restaurant in early 2022. By the end of that year, the pair made their relationship Instagram official. Their wedding venue echoed the proposal spot, with floral arrangements surrounding a raised platform where Paul's Impaulsive podcast co-host, Mike Majlak, appeared to officiate. Family by their side The couple's 10-month-old daughter, Esmé, was present for the ceremony, along with Jake Paul and his fiancée, Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam. Jake also shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the lakeside views and family photos. Milestones in their relationship Paul and Agdal dated for less than two years before getting engaged. Since then, they've marked several major milestones. On their first anniversary in May 2023, Logan paid tribute to his 'Danish queen' on Instagram, writing: 'One very special year with my Danish queen @ninaagdal.' In April 2024, the pair announced they were expecting their first child. Paul posted a photo of them holding up a sonogram, captioning it: 'Another Paul coming this Fall.' Their daughter Esmé arrived in September 2024. Career spotlight Paul's wedding comes during a peak in his professional career. Since debuting with WWE in 2022, he has seen his profile soar, recently appearing at Yankee Stadium ahead of SummerSlam and posing with baseball star Aaron Judge. He is scheduled to face John Cena in a singles match at WWE Clash in Paris on August 31, according to a New York Post report.

And now, the couple has tied the knot a month shy of their daughter turning 1. The couple had been spotted enjoying the Italian summer in Cernobbio a few days before they finally got hitched. Logan Paul's brother Jake Paul shared a video from the wedding ceremony with the caption, "I've seriously been crying." Impaulsive podcast co-host Mike Majlak officiated the wedding, and the couple looked stunning with Adgal wearing a flowing white gown, while Paul wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants. Logan Paul will be back inside the WWE ring at Clash in Paris While Logan Paul is taking a couple of days off wrestling to enjoy his wedding and hopefully a short honeymoon, the WWE star will soon be back inside the squared ring at the end of this month. Paul is set to face John Cena at Clash in Paris after he challenged the Cenation Leader for a one-on-one fight. Clash in Paris is set to take place on August 31, two weeks from now, and the City of Love is gearing up to host the who's who of wrestling, as wrestling returns to France for its second-ever PLE, two years in a row. While The Maverick is not a fan favorite when it comes to wrestling, it will be interesting to see what he and Cena have in store for everyone with their upcoming fight.
