Kieran Culkin on his Hunger Games debut: ‘I have no idea what I'm gonna do'
The world of The Hunger Games is back — and this time, it's bringing a whole new ensemble of elite talent into Panem. While fans are hyped for Sunrise on the Reaping, the latest chapter in Suzanne Collins' dystopian saga, one name in the cast has caught everyone's attention: Kieran Culkin. The actor recently revealed his thoughts on his performance, and they're as hilariously modest as you'd expect. Recently confirmed to play Caesar Flickerman, the same larger-than-life Capitol host that Stanley Tucci so iconically embodied in the original films, Culkin had a surprising message for fans. While signing autographs, he reportedly told one excited onlooker: 'Lower those expectations, please. Please do. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with that.' Known for his Emmy-winning role as the deeply complicated Roman Roy in HBO's Succession and his recent Oscar win for A Real Pain, Culkin has earned a reputation for delivering powerhouse performances while never taking himself too seriously. And of course, following in Stanley Tucci's glitter-covered footsteps is no small task since Tucci's version of Caesar was theatrical, flamboyant, and oddly endearing Culkin is joining a powerhouse cast in Sunrise on the Reaping, which includes Ralph Fiennes as a younger Coriolanus Snow, Joseph Zada as a young Haymitch Abernathy, Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, Maya Hawke as Wiress, Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner, and Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird. The film will bring to life Collins' latest book of the same name, released on March 18. The novel revisits the 50th Hunger Games — also known as the Second Quarter Quell — and dives into the emotional and political complexities that shaped a young Haymitch, revealing the roots of the battle-hardened mentor we meet in Katniss Everdeen's story.

As for whether Cassie's character arc includes a walk down the aisle, as seen in recently leaked set images? Sydney wasn't willing to explain the meaning behind the pics, which show her wearing a wedding dress while walking down an aisle featuring the intertwined initials, "C" and "N." (Fans have speculated that the initials stand for Cassie and Nate, her character's love interest in season two, played by Jacob Elordi.) Which Harry Potter Character Are You, Based on Your Zodiac Sign?
Because astrology met Hogwarts, and the Sorting Hat just got way more dramatic. Aries – Harry Potter Bold? Check. Reckless? Absolutely. Main-character-energy? Overloaded. Aries is the type to charge into the Forbidden Forest without asking any questions. Just pure vibes and a penchant for questionable decisions. Taurus – Rubeus Hagrid Loyal, food-loving, and emotionally attached to creatures that could potentially harm someone. Taurus is Hagrid—a gentle giant, stubborn as a mountain troll, and would absolutely adopt a dragon and lovingly name it "Fluffy Jr." Gemini – Fred & George Weasley Two perfect words: Chaos Twins. Gemini energy is fast-talking, incredibly hilarious, and seems to be allergic to silence. They probably invented a dozen new jokes, then somehow emotionally destroyed someone mid-laugh. Always ten steps ahead. Always. Cancer – Molly Weasley The ultimate mom friend. Cancer energy nurtures deeply, fiercely protects, and will absolutely obliterate anyone who dares to hurt their loved ones (just ask Bellatrix Lestrange). Expect soft hugs, deadly spells, and cozy, homemade sweaters. Leo – Gilderoy Lockhart Yes, the spotlight-chasing, memory-charming, peacock-feather-wearing diva. Leo energy thrives on a camera, a large crowd, and a constant stream of compliments—just don't ask for any receipts. But hey, they'll happily autograph anything you put in front of them. Virgo – Hermione Granger A true perfectionist. A meticulous planner. And prone to panic attacks that are probably color-coded by topic. Virgo is Hermione—they think five moves ahead and still get genuinely annoyed when others can't keep up. They literally carry the entire group project. Libra – Fleur Delacour Elegance? Check. Diplomacy? Check. Knows she's attractive and still possesses impeccable taste? Absolutely. Libra energy is graceful, socially sharp, and occasionally underestimated. They're also not above causing a spectacular scene at a wedding for the sake of fashion. Scorpio – Severus Snape Brooding. Intense. Mysterious, with an occasional, very private emotional breakdown. Scorpio is the morally grey potion master with a deep loyalty arc that very few people saw coming. Always watching. Always plotting. Sagittarius – Sirius Black A freedom-loving rebel with a troubled past and an ample sarcasm quota. Sagittarius energy doesn't follow rules—it actively breaks out of Azkaban and makes a dramatic re-entrance with a flying hippogriff. Capricorn – Professor McGonagall Strict, brilliantly intelligent, and low-key terrifying. Capricorn energy sets the highest standard, continually raises the bar, and dares anyone to even breathe incorrectly in her classroom. She probably runs Hogwarts from behind the scenes. Aquarius – Luna Lovegood Weird in the most wonderfully magical way. Aquarius energy is offbeat, dreamily ethereal, and often seems to be three steps into another dimension. They believe in Nargles, converse with ghosts, and probably invented a new spell just for fun. Pisces – Remus Lupin Soft-spoken, deeply wise, and quietly carrying about 47 emotional burdens. Pisces energy offers profound empathy, possesses tragic backstories, and has the remarkable ability to comfort someone while simultaneously turning into a werewolf.
