Demi Lovato marries singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in California

Demi Lovato is officially married.
The musician-actor, 32, tied the knot with Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes, 34, on Sunday in California, as first exclusively reported by Vogue.
The couple met while working on Lovato's last album, 2022's 'Holy Fvck," and dated for nearly two years before Lutes proposed in December 2023. Lutes co-wrote a few of the songs that made 'Holy Fvck,' including 'Happy Ending,' 'City of Angels," and the pop-punk single, 'Substance.'
Lovato wore a white Vivienne Westwood dress and Lutes wore a Saint Laurent suit.
Representatives for Lovato did not immediately respond to The Associated Press' request for comment.
Lovato, a former child star, began her entertainment career on 'Barney & Friends' before becoming a staple of Disney Channel in the 2000s for her role in the 'Camp Rock' films and as the star of 'Sonny with a Chance.' Beyond her acting, Lovato has long been celebrated for her gifted soprano and has released eight albums across her career.
Lutes, an independent artist whose hybridist music marries elements of emo, pop-punk and trap, was previously signed to Capitol Records.
Prior to her relationship with Lutes, Lovato was engaged to the actor Max Ehrich in 2020. They called off their engagement after two months.

Last May, Roberts joked that Ohtani should give him a Porsche when the slugger broke the Dodgers record for most home runs by a Japanese player. Ohtani obliged, gifting a purple toy model Porsche for Roberts' office. In breaking the record, Ohtani surpassed the mark set by Roberts, who was born in Japan, during his playing days. Ohtani went slightly bigger in March, when he left another toy Porsche in Roberts' parking space at Camelback Ranch in Arizona. Ohtani gifted Ashley Kelly, wife of Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly, a Porsche for her husband giving up his No. 17 when Ohtani signed with the Dodgers in December 2023. Ohtani's first child was born on April 19. He and his wife, Mamiko Tanaka, have not revealed the baby's name or any other information in keeping with Ohtani's penchant for privacy. Ohtani's reaction to the gift from Roberts and his wife Tricia? 'He was very grateful,' Roberts said.

Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman join Australia SailGP team as co-owners

The 'Deadpool & Wolverine' stars joined driver and CEO Tom Slingsby in leading the team's rebrand after several successful seasons, winning three championships in its four seasons. The team will be called the BONDS Flying Roos, with the Australian underwear company BONDS as its title partner. 'We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure," Reynolds and Jackman said in a joint statement released through SailGP. "Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country, as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Nintendo releases Switch 2 console to strong demand

Nintendo Co on Thursday released the Switch 2, its first new gaming console in more than eight years, with robust preorder demand creating optimism the device will boost the company's fortunes. The Kyoto-based gaming giant expects to sell 15 million units of the device globally in the current business year through March. Nintendo said in April it attracted larger-than-expected preorder interest, with some 2.2 million people in Japan applying for a lottery in hopes of securing one at release. The successor to the original Switch, released in March 2017, is priced at 49,980 yen ($350) for the Japanese-only version. The multilanguage version of the device is available for 69,980 yen. The new console includes new features such as screen sharing and voice chat via a built-in microphone. It also features a larger screen with roughly twice the pixel count of the original Switch and supports 4K output on televisions. Along with the console, the company released the "Mario Kart World" game, its latest installment of the popular racing series. In Tokyo, dozens of people who won the lottery lined up in the morning before the opening of an electronics store in the Ikebukuro area. "It's great that players can see each other while playing.
