Antler's Ryanair-approved carry-on bag is an unlikely hit with Wimbledon celebs

Daily Mirror08-07-2025
There's been one unlikely handbag spotted at Wimbledon this week, with multiple stars seen carrying Antler's tote bag that's known for fitting Ryanair's hand luggage restrictions
We've been eagerly keeping our eye on this year's Wimbledon guests to see what summer occasionwear trends they're sporting, and amongst the polka dot prints and tennis white colour palettes, there's been one unexpected accessory topping the list of must-have items. Antler's Heritage Tote Bag has been seen on the arms of celebrities like Saffron Hocking, Emma Appleton and Millie Brady, who have no doubt picked it for its combination of style and practicality.
The tote bag is of course handy for day to day use, but it's also the perfect choice if you're planning on travelling over the summer, as its dimensions happen to fit Ryanair's notoriously strict hand luggage measurements perfectly. As the budget airline has recently increased its size restrictions by 20% to 40cm by 30cm by 20cm, the Heritage Tote Bag now fits perfectly within those measurements, coming in at 30cm by 40cm by 16 cm.
The handy tote bag is ideal for keeping all of your essentials safely stored and organised, whether it's for a weekend away or running errands (or heading to Wimbledon, of course). It has secure internal zip pockets to keep things like laptop, tablets and personal items in order and protected, and there's even a handy internal water bottle holder to stop any spills and keep your bottle within reach.
The outer material is a water-repellent organic cotton canvas to keep it dry in all weather, and features leather handles and trims for that added luxury touch. The Heritage Tote Bag also has a back strap which can be slotted over the handles of your suitcase to make carrying all of your luggage easier.
Although Millie Brady was spotted carrying a black version of the bag, the tote is currently only available in the taupe 'sandstone' colour, and is priced at £195. If you want some other colour options, we found an affordable alternative on Amazon with the Underseat Cabin Bag priced at £19.99 and coming in an impressive 19 different colours.
It's also a smaller size, measuring 40cm by 20cm by 25cm, which fits Ryanair's original smaller cabin bag measurements and gives you peace of mind that your bag will fit while they upgrade their bag sizers across airports. You can also get a similar look with Kipling's Art Handbag with Detachable Straps, which is on sale down from £98 to £68.60 and has larger measurements.
However if you want to get the celeb-approved look, you can pick up Antler's Heritage Tote Bag from the Antler website now.

Molly-Mae Hague's sister finally ends Tommy Fury feud after doubts over romance

Molly-Mae Hague's sister Zoe has been spending time with Tommy Fury and her niece Bambi - suggesting the family are all getting along nicely after awkward past exchanges Molly-Mae Hague's sister has had a change of heart over Tommy Fury. Zoe is now supporting the Love Island star's reignited romance with boxer Tommy - after previously sharing her fears the relationship was unsalvageable. Reality show fans will recall watching Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 26, fall for each other on ITV back in 2019. ‌ They then enjoyed one of the strongest romances in Love Island history - moving in together soon after leaving the villa, welcoming a baby daughter named Bambi in January 2023, and getting engaged six months later. ‌ But fans were shocked in August last year - when Molly-Mae revealed the unthinkable - that her romance with Tommy had come to a crashing end after months of speculation about the state of their relationship. By the beginning of this year, however, the couple appeared close together. It comes after Andy Carroll 'splits from Lou Teasdale due to her demands' weeks after public row. ‌ READ MORE: Gemma Collins' plans for 'mystical' wedding on hold again as she makes blunt admission And in May they confirmed they were giving their romance another try. Molly-Mae's sister Zoe, however, had expressed her fears that the relationship was doomed - with her damning opinion being aired in the reality couple's Amazon reality show, Behind It All, in May. Now, three months on, it seems Zoe, Molly-Mae, and Tommy are all getting along swimmingly. Taking to social media over the weekend, the trio shared footage and photos of themselves working out in a gym together - alongside toddler Bambi. Zoe and Bambi could be seen performing burpee exercises together, while further content showed the toddler watching her dad, Tommy, running on a treadmill in the same gym. Molly-Mae shared content alongside an amusing caption, writing: "I think she may feel the same about the gym as I do," drawing attention to Bambi's unimpressed expression while watching her dad exercise. The happy family scenes come just a few short months after the Love Island stars confirmed they were back together. A source previously said of the reunion: 'It sounds extreme, but Molly feels much more reassured when Tommy checks in. It all helps with trust, honesty and transparency between the two of them. ‌ "Tommy has been very dedicated so far — if he's on a train, he will FaceTime the moment he gets off. It's the same with any flights that he takes or hotels he's staying in. 'Tommy dutifully phones Molly the minute that he arrives anywhere. And then she likes him to also show her where he is. This has been going on for months now, and Tommy's friends are impressed that he has agreed to it whole-heartedly.' ‌ The strict rules were laid down after Tommy had opened up about his relationship with alcohol. He said last year: 'The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be any more. 'It kills me to say it, but it's true, I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.' Following the confessions, Zoe had shared her concerns over her sister getting back together with the boxer. She said in scenes that aired in the Amazon reality show: "I would always, always, always, 100% be there for her,' Zoe insists in a tense on-camera exchange. ‌ 'But, yeah, I do worry for her, and my relationship with her if they would get back together. Definitely. I just want us to get on. I actually don't hate you in the slightest. Like, I feel like you actually hate me." Molly-Mae then hit back: 'No, I don't hate you. But I feel that anger from you towards me, from like, years and years of us sometimes having arguments.' But Zoe refused to back down, warning: 'I think she potentially needs to look into the future and think what's best for her and Bambi. She's got a long, rocky road ahead, unfortunately.' ‌ Molly-Mae has even had to hit back at her own fans - who have accused Tommy of not doing enough for his daughter and suggesting Zoe has been more present for her. In an emotional video post, Molly-Mae told her followers: "I've seen so many comments saying 'Zoe is more the dad' I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80 per cent of the week and he is with Bambi the majority of the week. "But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family. I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to."

Pierce Brosnan U-turns on a female Bond: ‘It has to be a man'

Pierce Brosnan has U-turned after previously saying James Bond should be played by a woman. The 72-year-old Irish actor has now said 007 'has to be a man', going back on comments he made previously. Brosnan, who played Bond in four movies between 1995 and 2002, wished Amazon well in its takeover of the franchise and said he is 'excited' to see the 'next man' take on the iconic role. The GoldenEye star discussed the next portrayal of 007 and told Saga magazine: 'Oh, I think it has to be a man.' This goes against remarks he made in 2019 when he told The Hollywood Reporter that a woman playing the next Bond would be both 'exciting' and 'exhilarating'. The MobLand star, who was the fifth actor to take on the role of the fictional secret agent, had said that it was time to 'put a woman up there'. But now, speaking of Amazon's takeover of the franchise, he said: 'I wish them well. 'I'm so excited to see the next man come on the stage and to see a whole new exuberance and life for this character. 'I adore the world of James Bond. It's been very good to me. It's the gift that keeps giving. 'And I'm just a member of the audience now, sitting back, saying: 'Show us what you're going to do'.' Dame Helen Mirren, 80, who is set to star alongside Brosnan in the new Thursday Murder Club film, also reiterated her previous opinion that the next Bond should be 'a guy'. The Oscar-winning actress told Saga: ' I'm such a feminist, but James Bond has to be a guy. You can't have a woman. It just doesn't work. 'James Bond has to be James Bond, otherwise it becomes something else.' Aaron Taylor-Johnson, an English actor known for Kick-Ass, is among the favourites to succeed Daniel Craig and take on the iconic role. Other British stars like Idris Elba, Theo James and James Norton are also said to be contenders. Earlier this year, long-serving producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson – the daughter and stepson of original Bond producer Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli – announced they had ceded creative control of the franchise over to Amazon MGM Studios. The family had controlled the franchise since the first 007 film, Dr No in 1962. The £770 million deal sparked concern among fans who feared the UK franchise might lose its British identity and would lead to the 'Americanisation' of the films. There was also online speculation that Jeff Bezos' company would 'dilute' Bond and turn it into a media universe with multiple films and spin-off series like MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). In June, it was announced that Oscar-nominated film-maker Denis Villeneuve – known for Dune – will direct the next Bond film, which will be produced by Amy Pascal and David Heyman. It was also announced earlier this year that Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will write the script. Amazon has not given any hints on who will take over the 007 role after Daniel Craig announced he would be stepping down.
