Big Spring PD searching for hotel burglar
BIG SPRING, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Big Spring Police Department has asked for help from the community to identify a burglary suspect.
According to Big Spring PD, around 8:00 am on May 29, the man pictured bellow reportedly burglarized a Quality Inn hotel room.
Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 432-263-TIPS and reference case number 2-25-01332. You may also submit your anonymous tip online or by using the P3 TIPS mobile app. If your tip leads to an arrest, it could be worth a cash reward.

Big Spring woman killed, 2 injured in rollover crash on Interstate 20
MARTIN COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- A rollover crash on Interstate 20 in Martin County Sunday evening left one Big Spring woman dead and two others injured. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, near mile marker 162. Investigators said a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling westbound when it suffered a left rear tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle veered off the road and rolled multiple times. One of the passengers, identified as 54-year-old Rose Marie Dominguez of Big Spring, was seated in the left rear seat. According to officials, she was wearing a seatbelt but sustained fatal injuries. Dominguez was transported to Martin County Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical staff. The driver, Ruben Rene Dominguez, 36, and another passenger, Rebecca Rose Dominguez, 31, both of Big Spring, were also wearing seatbelts and sustained minor injuries. They were taken to Martin County Hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol, Big Spring office. No additional information has been released. Danville juvenile arrested on weapons charges
A 16-year-old Danville juvenile was arrested on multiple weapons charges by Danville Police recently. On Friday, May 23, members of the Danville Police Department Problem Oriented Policing Unit attempted to stop a subject on foot in the 1400 block of Lape Street for the investigation of a crime, DPD Deputy Chief Terry McCord said. Officers witnessed the suspect take off running after orders to stop were given. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was placed in custody. During the pursuit and investigation, P.O.P. officers located a loaded illegal firearm. The suspect was identified as a 16-year-old juvenile from Danville who was transported to the Public Safety Building and booked on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Possession Under 21, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon-No Concealed Carry Permit, and Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer. The Danville Police Department requests anyone with information on this incident contact DPD at 217-431-2250, or Vermilion County Crimestoppers online at use the mobile app P3TIPS, or call anonymously to 217-446-TIPS (8477). The Danville Police Department reminds the public that all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Danville man arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm
DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A Danville man was arrested overnight after he was accused of shooting toward two people. Just after midnight, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of E. Fairchild St. for the report of an armed person, the Danville Police Department said in a release Tuesday morning. Dispatch informed the officers that a man fired a shot toward the caller. Coroner ID's Forsyth couple found dead on Monday When officers arrived, they talked with two victims who described the man and said he fired a handgun toward them. Officers were able to locate the man in a residence within the area, who they identified as 28-year-old Melvin Alexander. They later recovered a firearm belonging to him. Alexander was arrested and taken to the Public Safety Building and then booked in the Vermilion County Jail on charges of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
