With one of the most anticipated cricket matches just around the corner, the Dubai Event Security Committee has announced the completion of all security preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Final.
Maj-Gen Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs said that all the necessary factors are in place to make organising, participating in, and attending events in the country a truly exceptional experience.
"The country offers diverse options that cater to various needs, backed by strong infrastructure, flexibility, and facilities, along with its prime location, natural attractions, and sports venues built to the highest international standards," he said.
He also mentioned that coordination has been established with the organising committee of the match and the partners responsible for securing the event to set up security protocols and procedures.
"The Dubai Event Security Committee is fully prepared to host and secure the sporting event, especially since it is expected to draw large crowds of fans. A comprehensive security plan is in place to ensure the safety of the event both inside and outside the stadium, facilitating the smooth arrival and departure of fans and players," Al Ghaithi noted.
He highlighted the importance of teamwork in ensuring the game is organised to the highest standards, showcasing the UAE's impressive capabilities in hosting major global championships professionally. He also commended the efforts of all Event Security Committee members and their teams' readiness at all levels to carry out the necessary security and administrative tasks.
