Former Notre Dame All-American Bobby Taylor speaks to football team in South Bend
Former Notre Dame All-American Bobby Taylor returned to South Bend and gave a speech to the football team Tuesday, the Fighting Irish posted on social media.
The cornerback, who played for the Irish from 1992-94, spoke to the team about the transition to the NFL. Taylor works as a football operations strategic advisor for the league.
Taylor recorded five interceptions with the Irish, earning consensus All-American honors in 1994. He was drafted No. 50 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles, where he spent the first nine years of his career. Taylor finished third in defensive rookie of the year voting in 1995 and was a Pro Bowler in 2002. He finished his time in the pros with a season with the Seattle Seahawks.
During his pro career, Taylor finished with 384 tackles and 19 interceptions.

Rafferty appeared in 203 games for the Cowboys and started in 182, which is the fourth-most in team history. In his post-playing days, Rafferty went into sports equipment sales.
