Motorola, Swarovski Debut a New Razr Phone Adorned with Crystals
The phone and the earbuds are being sold in a $1,000 bundle called The Brilliant Collection, which features both devices in their new Pantone Ice Melt models. Motorola says that this edition of the Razr will have a leather-inspired finish that includes 35 Swarovski crystals, including one larger crystal with 26 facets on its hinge.
The included Moto Buds Loop -- which previously launched with a French Oak color model that also features Swarovski crystals -- have a similar Ice Melt shade to match up with the phone.

The Razr normally costs $700 and the Moto Buds Loop are $300, so if you were intent on getting both devices anyway then getting them in this collection is the same price while getting the crystals. However, Motorola also happens to be running a sale on the 2025 Razr line at the time of this announcement, marking down the non-Ice Melt models to $600.
The Brilliant Collection bundle is the latest expansion of materials that Motorola has been bringing to its phones, which on its $1,300 Razr Ultra also include wood and Alcantara fabric. Considering how the Ultra is already making use of those materials as a selling point, I'm surprised that the lower-cost Razr is first to debut a model that features crystals. But it could be a matter of time before the Razr Ultra gets its own Swarovski collaboration, and Motorola isn't alone right now in providing a stylish refresh on its foldable phone line.
Case in point, this launch comes a few weeks after rival Samsung launched its own line of foldable phones, including the redesigned $2,000 Galaxy Z Fold 7, the $1,100 Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the $900 Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

Ethereum surges to near record as investors bet on 'biggest macro trade' of the next decade
Ethereum (ETH-USD) prices rose to near record levels on Wednesday as Wall Street grows increasingly bullish on the crypto play. The world's second largest crypto currency by market cap jumped as much as 6%, to hover above $4,680 per token, just shy of its 2021 record level. "We have stated multiple times we believe Ethereum is the biggest macro trade over the next 10-15 years," Fundstrat head of reserach Tom Lee wrote in note on Wednesday. Lee noted the majority of Wall Street crypto projects and stablecoins, or digital tokens backed by assets like the US dollar, are being built on the ethereum infrastructure. Ether, the native token of Ethereum, is up more than 50% since the GENIUS Act legislation which creates guardrails for the stablecoin industry was made into law last month. Additionally, the Securities and Exchange Commission's recent 'Project Crypto' announcement, an initiative to modernize the agency and establish clear regulations around the digital asset industry, has also fueled the rally in ethereum. Fundstrat sees ETH hitting prices moving as high as $15,000 by year-end. The token is up 16% over the past five sessions, versus bitcoin's (BTC-USD) rise of 4%. Some companies have increasingly been raising capital to add ethereum to their balance sheets, in a similar fashion to Strategy's (MSTR) bitcoin corporate treasury play. Inflows into ethereum by such digital asset treasury companies have supported higher prices, Spencer Hallarn, global head of over the counter [OTC] trading at crypto platform GSR told Yahoo Finance. "This positive price momentum has reinforced further investor enthusiasm and flows into the space," he added. For example BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), chaired by Fundstrat's Tom Lee, announced plans on Tuesday to sell up to another $20 billion worth of stock to increase its holdings of ethereum. The company's goal is to eventually acquire 5% of the world's outstanding ETH tokens. BitMine shares are up roughly 80% over the past five days. Meanwhile gaming and sports betting company SharpLink Gaming (SBET) and blockchain tech firm BTCS (BTCS), both of which are pursuing similar strategies, are also up 8% in the past five sessions.
