Forget wood, the new Razr is crystal.
Posted Aug 6, 2025 at 8:41 AM UTC Forget wood, the new Razr is crystal. A partnership with Swarovski has produced a crystal-studded take on the Motorola Razr, sold in a bundle alongside a matching set of Swarovskied Moto Buds Loop earbuds. The flip phone features 34 crystals embedded in the faux leather finish, with a larger 35th attached to the hinge. You can register now to buy the $1,000 bundle, but let's be honest — it's not as good as the Paris Hilton pink. Motorola and Swarovski team up for a super fancy Razr
Motorola and Swarovski are teaming up to create the crossover they knew we always wanted: a crystal-laden edition of the Razr . For those who just felt that their retro cell phone wasn't special enough, the fancy new Pantone Ice Melt Razr features a 3D quilted leather-inspired finish with 35 hand-positioned Swarovski crystals, including one larger, 26-facet crystal on the hinge. The Pantone Ice Melt will cost a cool $1,000, though it will include a pair of the Moto Buds Loop . These open-ear buds are designed to be worn like jewelry — fitting, given the Swarovski treatment. Motorola is calling this bundle the Brilliant Collection. A stand-alone Motorola Razr will normally run you $700, and a pair of Moto Buds Loop will set you back $300, so the package deal for $1,000 basically means free crystals. Motorola has been expanding the Razr lineup lately, and the company now offers the Razr, Razr Plus and Razr Ultra. The Pantone Ice Melt edition is a design spin on the base model and retains the same 3.6-inch cover display, 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED main display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 4,500 mAh battery and 50-MP main camera. Motorola said that this release is "just the beginning for Motorola Collections," so we expect to see more curated collaborations down the line. The Brilliant Collection will become available on August 7. If you buy something through a link in this article, we may earn commission.

You can now get an iced-out Motorola Razr
Motorola has teamed up with Swarovski to give its iconic flip phone a sparkling new look. The result? The Brilliant Collection – a limited-edition release that blends familiar tech with a big dose of bling. At the centre is the Motorola Razr 60, reworked in shimmering Pantone Ice Melt and detailed with 35 hand-set Swarovski crystals. That includes a larger 26-facet gem on the hinge, designed to catch the light every time you open it. Even the volume buttons have had a crystal-inspired refresh. It's the same pocketable flip phone underneath, just with a flashier finish on top. There's also a new version of Motorola's Moto Buds Loop. These open-ear earbuds, designed with Sound by Bose, now come in the same Ice Melt finish, bringing the same crystal detailing to your audio gear. They're made for comfortable, everyday wear, offering a secure fit that keeps you aware of your surroundings while still delivering solid sound. Good for commuting, running, or just not being completely cut off from the outside world. Both devices form part of Motorola Collections – a new series of limited-run drops that pair up tech and design in more playful, fashion-focused ways. The idea is to offer curated takes on existing products that put aesthetics front and centre. This isn't Motorola's first Swarovski crossover – the two brands previously worked together on a special edition of the Moto Buds Loop – but this is the first full collection. And while it's not going to be for everyone, it's a clear sign that Motorola's willing to experiment with how its devices look and feel. The Brilliant Collection is available now in limited numbers. No word yet on how much they'll cost, when they'll be available, or what the next themed drop might be. Liked this? Motorola, Swarovski Debut a New Razr Phone Adorned with Crystals
After teasing a new Motorola and Swarovski collaboration a few weeks ago, the companies on Tuesday are debuting new editions of the Razr phone and the Moto Buds Loop that are adorned with crystals. The phone and the earbuds are being sold in a $1,000 bundle called The Brilliant Collection, which features both devices in their new Pantone Ice Melt models. Motorola says that this edition of the Razr will have a leather-inspired finish that includes 35 Swarovski crystals, including one larger crystal with 26 facets on its hinge. The included Moto Buds Loop -- which previously launched with a French Oak color model that also features Swarovski crystals -- have a similar Ice Melt shade to match up with the phone. The Pantone Ice Melt edition of the Motorola Razr has 35 Swarovski crystals. Motorola The Razr normally costs $700 and the Moto Buds Loop are $300, so if you were intent on getting both devices anyway then getting them in this collection is the same price while getting the crystals. However, Motorola also happens to be running a sale on the 2025 Razr line at the time of this announcement, marking down the non-Ice Melt models to $600. The Brilliant Collection bundle is the latest expansion of materials that Motorola has been bringing to its phones, which on its $1,300 Razr Ultra also include wood and Alcantara fabric. Considering how the Ultra is already making use of those materials as a selling point, I'm surprised that the lower-cost Razr is first to debut a model that features crystals. But it could be a matter of time before the Razr Ultra gets its own Swarovski collaboration, and Motorola isn't alone right now in providing a stylish refresh on its foldable phone line. Case in point, this launch comes a few weeks after rival Samsung launched its own line of foldable phones, including the redesigned $2,000 Galaxy Z Fold 7, the $1,100 Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the $900 Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

Motorola teases Swarovski-studded Razr, but all I want is the return of the D&G collab
TL;DR Motorola is officially teasing the launch of its sparkly new Razr in collaboration with Swarovski. The company plans to unveil the device on August 5, but leaks have already outed its design. Moto's new video teasers also offer glimpses of the phone, but in fleeting details. Motorola is getting ready to add some serious sparkle to its foldable lineup. The company has officially started teasing its upcoming Swarovski collaboration, and yes, it looks just as glam as you'd expect. The crystal-studded Moto Razr 2025 will be fully unveiled on August 5, and Motorola says it's out to 'bring the sparkle' to a market full of 'basic phone designs and dull, predictable finishes.' While Motorola hasn't explicitly confirmed that a bedazzled Razr is on the way, its teaser videos (see above) all but give the phone away. We get quick flashes of what appears to be the glitzy new Razr, alongside the previously launched Moto Buds Loop, which also got the Swarovski treatment. According to previous leaks, the Swarovski-studded Razr will come in a shade called Icy Blue, and Motorola is using the base Razr 2025 variant as the canvas for this collaboration. That means if you were hoping for a sparkly Razr Plus or Ultra, this one may not be for you. YTECHB Motorola isn't new to fashion-forward partnerships. Earlier this year, it teamed up with Paris Hilton to launch the Razr Plus Paris Hilton Edition in a very fitting pink color with the phrase 'That's Hot' engraved on the hinge. The company also has an ongoing partnership with Pantone, releasing Razrs in colors like Peach Fuzz and Viva Magenta. MobilePhoneMuseum But if you ask me, none of these hold a candle to the iconic gold Dolce & Gabbana Razr V3i from 2005. That one had gold and silver trimmings, a gold mirror finish, and a ridiculously shiny keypad that looked like it came straight from a fashion runway. I still think about it sometimes. It was my second and last Razr phone. Bring it back, Moto. Pretty please? As for this new Swarovski Razr, chances are the price tag will sparkle as much as the phone.
