A truly captivating trailer has been released for the indie drama Twinless , starring Dylan O'Brien and James Sweeney in the lead roles. They are joined in the small cast by Aisling Franciosi and Lauren Graham. Aside from co-starring in the film, Sweeney also wrote and directed the film.
The synopsis reads: 'In Twinless , two young men meet in a twin support group and form an unlikely friendship. Roman (Dylan O'Brien) and Dennis (James Sweeney) both are searching for solace and an identity without their other halves, becoming inseparable outside of the group.
'But when Roman meets Dennis' ebullient co-worker, Marcie (Aisling Franciosi), all is revealed to be not what it seems, as each man harbors secrets that could unravel everything about their connection.'
This looks like it will be an interesting film with a story that continues to unravel and surprise its audience. Check out the trailer below, and watch Twinless in select US theaters on September 5th.

Blake Lively Cast in First Movie Since It Ends With Us Drama

Originally appeared on E! Online Spotted: Blake Lively heading back to set. The It Ends With Us star is officially returning for her first acting role since her legal battle with her costar Justin Baldoni began nearly a year ago, Lionsgate confirmed to E! News Aug. 21. The film—titled The Survival List—will follow a reality TV producer named Annie (played by Blake), who, against her wishes, is assigned to a new show hosted by a famous survival expert, Chopper Lane. "When a shipwreck strands them on a deserted island, Annie discovers Chopper is a fraud and knows nothing about survival, leaving her in charge of figuring out how to keep them alive," a synopsis for the film stated. "Forced to work together, they begin to discover an unlikely chemistry." And the plot isn't the only detail that's been provided about the upcoming romantic comedy, which will be produced by Wicked's Marc Platt. Additionally, it's been revealed that Blake will also serve as a producer on the movie, which is based on a screenplay written by Tom Melia. More from E! (For his part, Justin denied the allegations in a countersuit seeking $400 million, which has since been dismissed by a judge.) However, the forthcoming flick won't be the first time Blake has appeared on screen since all the controversy went down. Back in May, the 37-year-old starred opposite Anna Kendrick in the A Simple Favor sequel, Another Simple Favor, which was filmed in Italy starting in March 2024, before It Ends With Us was released. For Blake, signing onto director Paul Feig's second installment was a no-brainer. "I love this character so much—this is probably my favorite character I've ever been fortunate enough to play," Blake said of her role as Emily Nelson at the Another Simple Favor's premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival earlier this year, per The Hollywood Reporter. "And so when Paul asked us to come back, I was so excited." For more on Blake and Justin's It Ends With Us legal battle, keep reading.
