Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague trade blows in first episode of BBC documentary - as she accuses him of 'dressing like a girl' and he claims she's 'not the brightest' before revealing the REAL reason they split

Daily Maila day ago
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague traded light-hearted blows as they gave fans an insight into the wake of their split in the first episode of the boxer's new documentary, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury.
The BBC Three series documents Tommy's battle with alcohol, as he reveals how it caused him to neglect his responsibilities as a father and partner and ultimately causing his relationship to fall apart.
And in the opening episode, filmed while the couple were still broken up, the pair appeared to still be civil for the sake of two-year-old daughter Bambi as they made a series of playful jibes aimed at one another, with Molly taking a swipe at his fashion sense while Tommy questioned her intelligence.
Meanwhile, Tommy, opened up on the real reason behind the couple's split, categorically denying that cheating had anything to do with their relationship falling apart.
The boxer and the influencer, both 26, shocked fans when they announced their split last August, after welcoming daughter Bambi and getting engaged the year prior - though they have since rekindled their romance.
After the split, Molly and Bambi proceeded to move out of the sprawling Cheshire mansion the family shared leaving Tommy alone and the episode shows Tommy Facetiming little Bambi and Molly as he eats breakfast amid his new single life.

And despite them no longer being together at the time, Molly couldn't help but comment on Tommy's choice of clothing, asking of his grey zip-up sweater: 'You're not going to wear that jumper while you're filming are you? It isn't good!'
Looking down at his top, Tommy responded: 'Why are you throwing insults at 8.30 in the morning? About my jumper!'
Molly, who has her own clothing brand Maebe, then went on to make a comment on the zip detail of his top, noting that it's 'quite girly', adding: 'that's on a lot of girls' stuff'.
However, seemingly over Molly's jibes, Tommy simply responds: 'Alright' before giving a deep sigh.
Another look at the pair's post-split dynamic comes later in the documentary as Tommy reflects on the love and pride he has for daughter Bambi, before making a cheeky dig at Molly's intelligence.
He said: 'I couldn't be more proud of her. She's stunning, she's clever... I don't know where she got the clever from because me and her mother aren't the brightest of bunches!'
Smirking to the camera, he then backtracks saying: 'I'll speak for myself actually, Molly will probably have a dig at me for that!'
Last year, Tommy had surgery after secretly battling with a hand injury for some time, preventing him from getting back in the ring, which he said led to him getting 'black-out drunk' most nights.
Another look at the pair's post-split dynamic comes later in the documentary as Tommy reflects on the love and pride he has for daughter Bambi, before making a cheeky dig at Molly's intelligence
In the debut episode, he can be seen opening up about his alcohol issues and how it affected his relationship with Molly, with Tommy confirming that his battle with drink was the reason they broke up.
As he reflected on the time of the split in which rumours swirled that he had cheated and even got another girl pregnant, Tommy insisted: 'The reason for the end of our relationship was alcohol.'
He then spoke about his injury to his right hand and the effect it had on him as he remarked: 'I couldn't train, box, lift weights, that was all gone... I lost my whole identity, lost my whole life.'
Tommy added: 'I was drinking a lot. You don't realise yourself at that point but other people around you do.'
His dad and trainer John Fury then featured as told how he recognised the signs following older son Tyson's battle with booze, noting how he advised Molly-Mae that she was best off 'walking away' from Tommy
Detailing how bad his drinking got, Tommy admitted: 'I hold my hands up, drink got hold of me. 20 shots a night, 20 beers, everyday I'd have a drink and I used to drink till I got blackout drunk.'
He then candidly confessed he didn't think that Molly would leave him.
Tommy went on to say that in their daughter's eyes, they were 'still a family' and nothing has changed for the tot, before noting that she's his biggest achievement and would die for her.
In an interview with The Mirror earlier this month, Tommy described how he spent a lot of time alone 'sitting in a big dark room' after the break-up.
He said: 'That's what I was doing most days. When you're in a big house all by yourself, you think about a lot of things, and you wish you could never go down that road, but it's happened.'
The docuseries will see the father-of-one recalling how his booze issues began, detailing: 'I had enough drink to last me a lifetime in 2024.
Last year, he had surgery after secretly battling with a hand injury for some time, preventing him from getting back in the ring, which he said led to him getting 'black-out drunk' most nights
'Suddenly, one day, you find that all you can do is sit down and then a few of them [drinks], it takes the pain away. You forget where you are, you forget what's going on. And sometimes you want that feeling all the time, and that's where obviously it starts.'
Tommy went on: 'Now, when I look at that person from back then, I don't even recognise that guy. It's just not me. Back then, I didn't really care about anything. It was like the world going by, wasn't bothered, and that's just not me.'
While he says he's not completely sworn off alcohol forever, the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, insists he now barely drinks and will save booze for special occasions.
He explained: 'Going forward, if it's a wedding or something like that, I might have a couple of drinks. Four or five times a week is something nobody should be doing.'
Tommy and Molly-Mae met on the fifth series of Love Island back in 2019, going on to welcome Bambi into the world in January 2023 and then getting engaged later that year.
However they shocked fans when they announced that they had gone their separate ways in August 2024.
The internet was abuzz with speculation and theories over what had happened to cause their split, but it was not until January that Tommy revealed it was due to his dependency on alcohol.
In May, he admitted '2024 was the worst year of my life' and described how he spent 'a long time on a dark path' in an unflinching Good Morning Britain interview.
He explained: 'Ever since I've been small from 5,6,7,8, all I've ever done is boxed, I've never had another job outside of boxing. I've always thought, breathed and done everything boxing.
'When you do that for such a long time and then all of a sudden you're sat in a hospital bed and you're thinking to the future of a year down the line.
'You're thinking to yourself, "I've never done anything else other than box, what am I going to do to pass the time? How am I going to get through this?" You fall into a dark place.
'Being in a position where boxing is everything, the fact I couldn't do that and get out of bed in the morning and do what I wanted to do to make me happy, I just thought s*** it all.
'You go down that dark route and you go down there for a few weeks and you end up staying there for a very long time and that has consequences.'
Tommy admitted: '2024 was the worst year of my life and this year's going to be the best year of my life, it starts on Friday, I've turned it all around.
'I'm happy mentally now, I've got to go through these challenges in life. Everyone's got a hard life.
'I've come through this, I'm on the other side and I'm back doing what I do best.'

Loose Women pulled from screens in ANOTHER blow to cut-ravaged ITV show - as host makes urgent plea to fans

Loose Women might be a daytime TV fan favourite, but it is the latest show to be pulled from screens amid widespread cuts at ITV. The popular talk show will not air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week and will instead be replaced by a repeat of James Martin 's Great British Adventure from 2019 at 12:30pm on Wednesday. The show sees the popular chef travel to Northern Ireland, where he teams up with local chef Paul Rankin to cook up a storm. This will be followed by a news bulletin before the York races are aired from 1.30pm until 4.30pm, with a similar schedule also in place for Thursday and Friday. Viewers were warned of the change on Tuesday by comedian Lee Peat, the show's warmup act for the live audience, who typically does not feature on screen. Lee said: 'Lines close on Friday and I will saw, this is actually the last Loose Women of the week, so get your entry in if you want to do that!' Host Christine Lampard went on to assure viewers that Loose Women would be returning to its usual schedule on Monday, August 25. While it has been reported that it is not unusual for Loose Women to end early during racing season, the scheduled races this week are notably taking place after the programme has usually finished. This week's cut comes after it was announced that the show would no longer be running for 52 weeks of the year and instead be on screen for just 30 in a bid to cut costs. Changing viewing habits, including an increased reliance on streaming services, have forced ITV to make some difficult decisions in a bid to remain profitable and keep some of the UK's most beloved shows on air. Other shows that have been affected by cuts at the broadcaster include Good Morning Britain and Lorraine. Good Morning Britain will now run for an extra half an hour to reduce Lorraine's slot from one hour to 30 minutes. Like Loose Women, Lorraine will now air for just 30 weeks a year, and when it is not on, it will be replaced by an even longer edition of Good Morning Britain, which will run from 6am to 10am. Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV 's Media and Entertainment Division, stressed that 'daytime is a really important part of what we do.' The popular talkshow will not air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week and instead be replaced by a repeat of James Martin 's Great British Adventure from 2019 at 12:30pm on Wednesday The Managing Director continued: 'These scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well as generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres. 'These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever.' News of the cut comes after Denise Welch was forced to apologise on air for Janet Street Porter's remark that the late actor Terrence Stamp was a 'bore' after his death on Sunday. She said: 'Me and Terry Stamp had lunch. I remember I was so excited, I was so looking forward to it. What can I tell you ladies - he was the most boring bloke.

However, just 12 hours after the heartbreaking scenes aired, the sexy star teased her return to the show. It came after she posted a clip of her getting upset on last night's Celebs Go Dating episode, and she wrote next to it: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has sent messages of love and understanding. To the agents, the incredible cast, and every member of the team behind the scenes. "And to all of you watching at home, your kindness has been a true comfort. "I am so proud that I went for it and even more proud that I chose my wellbeing when I felt it was all too much for me to continue. "Checking in with myself and honouring how I was truly feeling wasn't easy, but it brought me back to where I needed to be - with my babies and those precious cuddles. Emotional Christine McGuinness opens up about Paddy's 'mistakes' in split saying 'the trust was broken' The Sun revealed back in June how Christine would return to Celebs Go Dating. We reported how she will make her comeback during the season finale episode. An insider previously told us: "Christine's return was kept top secret from everyone, so they were all so excited to see her come back. "The cast were really sad when she quit the show, even though they totally supported and understood her reasons, so it was great to see her come back. "She started the journey with them all, so it was the perfect end that she got to finish the series with them too." 5 TEARFUL GOODBYE Fans watched last night as Christine quit Celebes Go Dating. Speaking to the show's agents, she said: "Well, I've been thinking quite a lot whilst we've been in Ibiza and I think I need to date in more of a natural environment. "I think I just would love to meet somebody and date more privately. It's where I'm kind of feeling myself going back, when I want to go freely forward. 5 "Right. And I've made the decision to leave the agency." Continuing she said: "But as much as I am very, very comfortable talking about my sexuality and being me, and I know that I want to continue dating women, I've found that outside attention far too much. "And I've found myself feeling like I'm hiding more. And I don't want that. That's not what I want." Christine then began to cry as she revealed she just wanted to "go home" and "be with her children". The tearful star said: ""I've been missing the kids loads this week. I think all the love I need right now is waiting for me at home." The Sun were first to reveal in May that Christine decided to quit the show during filming. PADDY SPLIT Christine joined Celebs Go Dating following her divorce from Paddy after 15 years together. The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 33. Two years later, he popped the question and they married in 2011 at Merseyside's Thornton Manor Estate. However, they have now been divorced three years, but .

Jamie Oliver's wife Jools, 50, sizzles in a leggy black mini dress as she joins daughter Daisy, 22, and son Buddy, 13, at the Caught Stealing screening in London

Jamie Oliver 's wife Jools turned heads as she joined her children, Daisy and Buddy, at the Caught Stealing screening in London on Tuesday. The model, 50, ensured all eyes were on her in a black mini dress that showed off her toned pins. She added inches to her slender frame with a pair of kitten heels and kept accessories to a minimum. Meanwhile, Daisy, 22, stunned in red midi dress, which featured a fitted corset and sweeping A-line skirt. Buddy, 13, cut a dapper figure in a black suede jacket paired with a white shirt and black trousers. The trio appeared in good spirits as they posed up a storm on the red carpet before entering the starry event. The crime/comedy film, which will hit UK theatres on August 29, began filming in September of last year, six months after Austin Butler's casting was confirmed. As per Deadline, the film 'follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he's unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of '90s New York City.' Jools and Jamie are high school sweethearts and have been together since the age of 17. They share five children, Poppy, 23, Daisy, 22, Petal, 16, Buddy, 13, and River, nine. And Buddy is set to follow in his dad's footsteps as he bagged a CBBC show where he teaches kids how to cook. Cooking Buddies sees the TV chef's son and his young guests swap skills as he shows them how to make simple meals, and in return, they show him something they're good at - like basketball, ice skating or salsa dancing. Buddy shares his passion for cooking as he teaches his new friends how to make dishes such as spicy tomato pasta, pizza and crispy chicken. The show landed on CBBC on July 10 and also featured surprise cameos from the Oliver family. 'Cooking Buddies is a really fun cooking show, where I teach some new friends my tasty recipes (usually so they can cook them for someone special or a special occasion) and they teach me something they're super good at,' Buddy said. 'I guess you could call it a skills swap. It's been amazing to give all kinds of new things a try, I had a go at things like karate, BMX racing, street art and boxing – lots of stuff I've never tried before. It's been so much fun, even when I've not been very good at something!' Buddy gave his guests cooking tips such as ingredient swap ideas, and helped them with their chopping skills in a bid to bring youngsters into the kitchen. The young cooks are also joined in his den by the Oliver family dog, border collie Conker, who is voiced by actor and comedian John Sparkes. Buddy made a hilarious remark about his famous dad when he was asked about what it was like to have his family on set ahead of the show's release. He said: 'It was a bit annoying when dad came over (he can be annoying sometimes, ha ha!) but overall it was nice and fun!' Jamie's pride at his son's new endeavour was evident, as he shared how important a skill he believed cooking to be. 'Being able to cook is such an important skill for kids to learn, it's up there with reading and writing – so I'm really proud of Buddy for making this brilliant show that encourages others to give it a go,' Jamie said. 'Full of easy, big-flavour recipes that will keep children happy and healthy, I hope it inspires people to get in the kitchen and try cooking for themselves.'
