Angel Reese misses Sky's final game before All-Star break with leg injury
The All-Star forward sat on the bench as the Sky hosted the Atlanta Dream. She is set to make her second All-Star Game appearance this weekend in Indianapolis.
Fellow second-year All-Star Caitlin Clark's availability for the game in her home arena could be in jeopardy as well after she sustained a groin injury Tuesday night in a victory over the Connecticut Sun in Boston.
Reese had 22 points and 10 rebounds Monday for her ninth straight double-double in Chicago's 91-78 loss to Minnesota. She leads the WNBA with 12.6 rebounds per game.

Canada's 18-year-old wunderkind says she is excited to race Katie Ledecky in Ledecky's race on Saturday night at the world championships, and of course she is. But McIntosh needs challenges the way most people need air. So McIntosh is trying to defeat the greatest female swimmer ever at the height of her powers, in a race Ledecky doesn't lose, in front of the world. The 28-year-old Ledecky has lost the 800-metre freestyle once since she was 13 years old, to McIntosh at a relatively minor Florida meet last year. Ledecky then broke her own world record in May this year, swimming 8:04.12. She hadn't broken that mark since the Rio Olympics in 2016, and she wept afterward. Gaudreau Family 5K raises more than $500,000 for accessible playground at special education school
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The first 5K held in the memory of John and Matt Gaudreau helped raise more than $500,000, enough to break ground later this year on an accessible playground at the special education school where the hockey players' mother works. Thousands attended the Gaudreau Family 5K Walk /Run and Family Day in May at Washington Lake Park in southern New Jersey, a place John and Matthew went hundreds of times as kids and around the corner from Hollydell Ice Arena, where they started playing hockey. The 5K drew more than 1,100 participants in the walk, along with more than 1,100 virtually in the U.S., Canada and around the world.
