Justin Bieber has spoken out about struggling with imposter syndrome amid growing concern from fans about his mental health.
The 31-year-old pop star shared an emotional post on social media where he admitted to feeling 'like a fraud' and 'unqualified most days.'
Fans have expressed concern for the Baby singer after recent photos showed him looking dishevelled and he was seen smoking from a bong on social media.
The post on his Instagram page on Thursday read: 'People told me my whole life 'wow Justin u deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy like I was a fraud, like when people told me I deserve something.
'It made me feel sneaky like damn if they only knew my thoughts - how judgmental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn't be saying this.
'I say all this to say. If you feel sneaky welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days. '
Justin Bieber shot to fame in 2008 when he was discovered by talent manager Scooter Braun through his YouTube videos.
At just 13 years old, Bieber's talent for singing and performing quickly captivated audiences, leading to his first single, "One Time," in 2009.
His debut album, My World, went platinum, and he became a global sensation with hits like "Baby" and "Sorry."
His rise to fame marked the beginning of an era where social media played a huge role in launching the careers of young artists.
However, concern for the singer has been mounting in recent months after the singer stepped out looking hollow-eyed and in bizarre outfits.
Bieber recently posted a video of him and a friend rapping on a private jet about getting 'high.'
Bieber, who is topless and holding an open bag of popcorn, raps: 'High like a fly guy, I fly high like a magpie, I go high like I'm that guy.'
The video was posted less than two days after representatives for Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey issued a joint statement denying that Justin is taking any illegal drugs and calling the public's obsession over the singer's mental and physical health 'exhausting and pitiful'.
'[It] shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive,' the statement said.
The reps added that the last year was 'very transformative for [Justin] as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.'
The statement also claimed Bieber has been busy working on new music and parenting his and Hailey's newborn son.
