The ITV show saw Fraser, from Edinburgh, play alongside Kerry, Ellena and Alex. Fraser, a commercial operations specialist for an online review firm, went last. If he won, he said he'd put it towards visiting every Disney park in the world. He accumulated £5,000 in his Cash Builder ahead of a tough game against The Vixen, reports Liverpool Echo. Fraser managed to outrun The Chaser and bagged himself a spot in the final chase. He wasn't the only Scottish person to make it through, with Alex from Fife joining him alongside Kerry. The three contestants hoped to secure a huge £61,000 as they achieved a combined score of 20. But it proved to be too weak to triumph on the quiz show. King Charles braves rain at antiques market and fans all say same thing

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info King Charles had royal fans chuckling during his recent visit to a market, where he engaged with vendors and showed a keen interest in their work. The king charmed the crowd at Old Spitalfields Market in Shoreditch, London, as he took a particular liking to one stall – even asking the trader about logistics "How do you pack it all up at the end of the day?" the monarch asked with a giggle. "[It takes] three hours, but I love it," replied the amused stall holder. The monarch went on to express his admiration upon learning that the stall was a longstanding fixture of the market, commenting: "It's a very special profession." Continuing his tour, Charles stopped at another stall, curiously asking if the vendor was there weekly before joking that her business might improve without his "interrupting". Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages. The King's outing was captured by TikTok user and royal enthusiast, Kayden, who detailed: "King Charles met members of the local community at Old Spitalfields Market today. "The King attended 'Antiques Thursday', and he had the opportunity to speak to stallholders at SXSW London, a culture, technology and creativity festival, located on Brick Lane." Others responded warmly, with one person writing: "Long live the King, what a Gent." Another commented: "The sweetest king ever." A third individual added: "God Bless King Charles III. Always be an Inspiration to the public." Meanwhile a fourth TikTok user exclaimed: "Happy to see you your majesty. Looking amazing and gorgeous as always. God bless and protect you majesty." Additional snippets from King Charles' visit emerged via the Royal Family's official Instagram account. The post referenced the Taylor Swift song 'London Boy' with its caption: "Shoreditch in the afternoon!" It continued: "Hosted for the first time in Europe, The King has visited SXSW London, a culture, technology and creativity festival in Shoreditch, East London. Originating in Austin, Texas, the festival aims to serve as a platform to showcase the future of the creative industries, supporting emerging artists and innovative projects." Another video clip captured the king undeterred by the relentless downpour, as he warmly greeted and shook hands with the enthusiastic crowd gathered outside the market. An astonished Instagram user remarked: "Was the King seriously standing in a puddle of rain to shake hands?" before praising the 76-year-old as a "Class act!" Another exclaimed: "I don't know what I love more. The fact that he's standing in puddles outside in the rain to talk to people. Or that this is more evidence that His Majesty is a Swiftie!" A third admirer noted: "OMG - King Charles standing in water practically covering the tops of his shoes. Now that's commitment to meeting people!" Whilst a fourth person agreed: "What a great man our King is. Stood in that awful weather in a deep puddle to ensure he meets as many people as possible. Very classy."

Everything we know about Edinburgh Warner Bros film with huge Hollywood names

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Edinburgh locals have spotted Warner Bros trucks around the city in recent days, with filming for an upcoming project underway. Details have been kept under wraps, with residents previously speculating that the filming was for the upcoming Harry Potter series. It's now understood that the production is for Ghostwriter - a sci-film due for release in 2026. The cast includes Samuel L Jackson, Glen Powell, Jenna Ortega and Emma Mackey. It comes from director JJ Abrams, who is behind films like Cloverfield and the more recent Star Wars films. While the plot is a tightly kept secret, The Hot Mic has suggested the film is an '80s throwback film and follows the author of a series of novels who reveals that the mythical world he's known for creating is in fact real. Production is also said to be happening in London. Spots in Edinburgh such as West College Street, Merchant Street, Candlemaker Row, and Chambers Street are being used as filming locations. (Image: Edinburgh Live) Locals also spotted crews setting up in Holyrood Park back on June 3. None of the rumoured cast have been papped in and around the city as of yet, though one lifelong Samuel L Jackson claims to have had an interaction with his hero. Matt's partner, Rosie, told Edinburgh Live: "Matt finally had his dream come true this week when the legendary actor was spotted filming scenes for his new movie Ghostwriter in the city. Sign up for Edinburgh Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox "Determined not to miss his hero, Matt camped out for 15 hours near the filming location with snacks, a fold-up chair, and unshakable optimism. Armed with only hope and a homemade sign that read 'I've had it with these motherlovin' waits!' he finally got the moment he'd waited a lifetime for." A release date hasn't been given for the film, though it's been suggested that it'll hit our screens next year. Warner Bros have been approached for comment.
