Xiaomi 16's battery to be even larger than previously rumored
The Xiaomi 16 is expected to be unveiled in China at the end of September, and it's already been rumored to sport a humongous battery. At one point we heard 6,800 mAh, then another rumor just said "over 6,500 mAh".
So, if you've been wondering about the exact capacity of the Xiaomi 16's battery, a new rumor out of China today purportedly brings us the answer: 7,000 mAh. And the phone will have a 6.3x-inch display (so 6.3" to 6.39"). Xiaomi 15
This would be a huge jump in battery capacity from the Xiaomi 15's 5,240 mAh cell, if true, and should make its successor even more appealing from this point of view.

Samsung accidentally leaks Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 – through its own app
After all the leaks and rumors about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 phones, you'd think there are no surprising new ways to reveal anything else about them. Well, wait until you hear that actually this time, Samsung itself leaked them – their names, more specifically – in the funniest of ways. The two names of the foldables, which were long rumored and frankly expected, were confirmed by the South Korean tech giant in a beta One UI 8 build. The two official names are included in a beta version of the Samsung Internet Browser app. The beta version of the browser is on the Galaxy Store, and the leak was first spotted by the folks in GalaxyClub. As you can see, the listing clearly says 'Samsung Internet Browser for Fold7 and Flip7'. Curiously enough, it seems this app listing can't be found on a Galaxy phone unless you're running One UI 8, which is in beta right now and only available on Galaxy S25 phones. Apparently, Samsung didn't expect curious folk to wander through the Galaxy Store. Also, this is further evidence that this rumored "Galaxy Z Fold Ultra" beast was not a living being. It seems now more than ever that the "Ultra" in Samsung's teaser that set the internet on fire was just hype and marketing. So, for the summer Unpacked, we have the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , Z Flip 7 , and potentially a Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE or Flip FE. It's possible that Samsung will announce its first tri-folding phone later this year, and it may get a limited release only in China and South Korea. Currently, rumors claim an 'early July' timeframe for the summer Unpacked, although this has not been confirmed just yet by Samsung. Reportedly, an event for the foldables may be held in New York, but yet again, this is not official information just yet. Maybe the Unpacked date will show up somewhere in a Samsung Notes beta version in One UI 8... Just kidding, Samsung would not make the same mistake twice, would it?

Fresh Nothing Phone (3) teaser points to subtle design changes

The UK-based company behind the Nothing brand revealed quite a lot of things about its upcoming product, including the fact that it decided to remove the Glyph Interface it used on the previous teaser points to a slight change in aesthetic for the Nothing Phone (3) , although the industrial aspect seems to have been maintained. According to the teaser posted on Twitter, Nothing Phone (3) is the result of ' ultra-precise engineering .' There's also a picture that shows a small part of the phone's back side, which once again confirms the industrial design with precise lines and cuts. The dot-matrix style lights system that's supposed to replace the Glyph Interface isn't visible in the image like in the teaser from just a few days ago. It's unclear from the picture if the Nothing Phone (3) will also have a different shape, but the surface doesn't seem to be transparent like in the previous models. For reference, Nothing shared some sketches of the Phone (3) in the past that suggest the phone will retain one of its iconic design traits: transparency. Phone (3). Well, one is hidden under a plastic circular cap that makes it look like part of the design, at least judging from the picture posted by screws on the back side of Nothing's phone struck a slightly discordant note design-wise, at least for me, so I'll be happy if the UK company decides to make a change in this been a lot of talk surrounding the removal of the Glyph Interface, but the overall impression seems to be that Nothing's decision based on users' feedback was the right one. I'm not so sure that replacing it with a dot matrix lighting array will make any difference, but time will tell. I think people want a flagship with solid specs and good software. These lighting array systems seem to be just gimmicks that most people don't ever use or use a lot less to justify their existence. Nothing has already confirmed that it's first-ever flagship, the Phone (3), will be officially introduced on July 1. We already know it will cost around £800, but that's about it.
