Cena was ambushed by Drew McIntyre with Paul piling on, but Cody Rhodes came to Cena's rescue before a tag-team battle was set up as the main event of the day. Cena opened the proceedings as Logan Paul interrupted the leader of the Cenation. Cody Rhodes, who shook hands with Cena and made peace in the lead-up to the event on Friday, came to Cena's aid, leading to a tag-team battle between Cena and Rhodes, and Paul and McIntyre, slated as the main event of the night. The Motor City Machine Guns duo of Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin put up a brave fight in their bout against Talla Tonga and JC Mateo. However, Tonga and Mateo clinched the match by pinfall as Tonga finished the fixture with a chokeslam to Sabin before completing the three-pin.
