
Cricket tournament starts today
A total of 16 schools are participating in the tournament, with the winning school set to receive prize money of Rs 1.11 lakhs. The total prize money for the tournament is around Rs 1.72 lakhs. Each match will consist of 20 overs per innings. Apart from the opening and final days, three matches will be played daily at the TSH ground.
District and divisional level selection trials for the judo team (boys and girls) will be held at Green Park Stadium on August 19 and 20.
The selected divisional level teams will participate in the state level junior boys and girls competition at Saharanpur from August 28 to 30.
According to regional ssports officer of the Kanpur division, Bhanu Prasad interested players should bring their birth certificates and Aadhar Cards at the time of the trials. The age must be between 15 and 21 years.tnn
