Saquon Barkley calls Bijan Robinson 'the next great one' in NFL Top 100 clip
After a promising rookie season, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson took things to another level in 2025. The former top-10 pick finished his sophomore campaign ranked third in the NFL with 1,456 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.
Robinson's big year helped him land a spot on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2025 countdown. The Falcons running back was ranked as the 62nd-best player in the league, drawing praise from his peers, including 2024 rushing leader Saquon Barkley.
"Bijan's definitely the next great one," said Barkley. "Him and [Jahmyr] Gibbs. But there's nobody who's able to cut like Bijan in the NFL. There's not. You can argue with your mom about that to be honest. And, you know, trust me, I love myself and I think I have great cuts. His vision, his agility, and he can catch the ball too."

The Falcons held their first training camp practice on Thursday, giving fans their first glimpse of the 2025 roster. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and tight end Kyle Pitts were the stars of Day 1. The team has Friday off but will return to the practice field on Saturday.

It showed in Jalen Hurts' passing numbers and in Brown's receiving production as well. Dealing with injuries at times, Brown appeared in just 13 games for Philadelphia last year. He caught just 67 passes, which was by far his lowest since joining the Eagles. The star wide receiver still cracked the 1,000-yard mark, but not by much. He reached the endzone for seven touchdowns. Despite a lack of regular-season production, Brown would shine throughout the playoffs. In four games, he produced a playoff career-high 163 yards and scored twice. One of his touchdowns came in the Super Bowl, where the Eagles dominated the Chiefs, getting their revenge from a couple of seasons ago. The chances of Brown getting burn in the preseason were likely always going to be slim this season. Since the 28-year-old is well-established at this stage in his career, he doesn't need the meaningless reps before a long season. Still, the setback is notable. Former Panthers draft pick retires on Sunday
A hog molly has called it quits on his football career. As announced by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning, offensive lineman Dennis Daley has been placed on the reserve/retired list. The soon-to-be 29-year-old played his first three NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers. Daley, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native, was drafted by the Panthers in the sixth round of the 2019 draft. The University of South Carolina product went on to start nine games at left tackle as a rookie. The 2020 and 2021 campaigns saw Daley start in 12 of his 20 outings for Carolina. In addition to left tackle, where he recorded 924 total snaps as a Panther, he also lined up at left guard (336 snaps) and right guard (124). Carolina, in August of 2022, traded Daley and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2024 fifth-rounder. That fifth-round selection was eventually traded by the Panthers to the Indianapolis Colts in their move up for second-round running back Jonathon Brooks. Former star Alabama cornerback reportedly signs with NFL team
According to a report Saturday from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Levi Wallace is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent. Wallace, a seven-year NFL veteran, had yet to sign with a team this offseason, and was among the list of former Alabama players still remaining in free agency. The former Alabama cornerback most recently played with the Denver Broncos during the 2024 season, starting 2-of-13 games played. During that span, Wallace had 28 tackles, which was the lowest total of his career, along with two passes defensed. Over his seven previous seasons in the league, Wallace has compiled 333 career tackles with seven TFL and 12 interceptions across 96 career games, 72 of which he started. Undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018, Jacksonville will also be Wallace's fourth NFL team, joining the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Broncos.
