
Sudbury councillor's $450K lawsuit against City tossed

Greater Sudbury Ward 11 Coun. Bill Leduc's $450,000 lawsuit against the city and resident Anastasia Rioux was dismissed Friday. Leduc sued over a 2022 election compliance audit prompted by Rioux's complaint about an unreported campaign event. A KPMG audit had found spending violations. The city must submit arguments for legal costs to the court by September.
