Yella Beezy Reportedly Arrested & Charged With Hiring Hitman to Kill MO3

Yahoo21-03-2025

Curious about why Dallas rapper Yella Beezy is back in the headlines? The recent capital murder charge against him has reignited public attention surrounding the 2020 killing of fellow rapper Mo3. Authorities allege Beezy orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot that led to the fatal highway shooting in broad daylight.
Let's take a closer look at the case details, who was involved, and how investigators connected the dots leading to this major indictment.
Dallas police arrested rapper Markies Deandre Conway, known as Yella Beezy, and charged him with capital murder in connection to the 2020 killing of rapper Melvin Noble, known as Mo3.
A Dallas County grand jury indicted Conway on March 18, 2025, alleging he intentionally and knowingly hired a gunman to commit the shooting 'while remuneration was involved.' (via NBCDFW)
On November 11, 2020, a masked gunman shot and killed Mo3 in broad daylight on Interstate 35E in Dallas. Police reported that Mo3 exited his car and ran on foot before the gunman chased and shot him multiple times. Traffic cameras captured the incident, and footage quickly circulated.
According to the indictment, Conway hired Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the killing. 'Pursuant to said agreement, Kewon White did then and there intentionally and knowingly cause the death of (Noble) by shooting (him) with (a) firearm,' the indictment states, per USA Today. Authorities arrested White a month after the shooting, and he is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for gun charges.
A grand jury indicted a second man, Devin Maurice Brown, in connection with the killing. Investigators used phone records and surveillance data to place both suspects near the murder scene before the shooting. Federal authorities later indicted Brown on drug and weapons charges after they found a stolen AK-47, drugs, and cash in his home.
Officers took Yella Beezy into custody and booked him into the Dallas County Jail on March 20, 2025. Officials have not set his bond. The capital murder charge makes him eligible for the death penalty.
In 2021, police arrested Beezy on unrelated charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and sexual assault stemming from a separate incident.

Terroristic threat charge being referred for Wisconsin 6th grader after email sent to middle school

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Following a threatening email directed at a southeastern Wisconsin middle school, authorities have identified the source and are referring a terroristic threat charge against a 6th grader. Officers with the Germantown Police Department noted in a release that after a threatening email was sent to the Kennedy Middle School on Monday, June 2, their investigation culminated in a search warrant at a Germantown home on Friday, June 6. Multiple electronic devices were seized during the search warrant, and they were forensically analyzed. Former Green Bay Packer arrested on drug charges, cash bond set at $5k Data recovered from one of the devices reportedly led to the discovery of a Google account used to send the threatening email. Officers say the device belonged to a 6th grader at the middle school. The email was sent to the Kennedy Middle School attendance email account and allegedly threatened to 'kill all of the teachers,' while mentioning an AK-47. Officers say the student admitted to creating and sending the message. The school secretary who discovered the email immediately contacted the Germantown Police Department's School Resource Officer. Officers say the student's family has been fully cooperative throughout the investigation and is working with law enforcement and the Germantown School District. The students' parents reportedly told investigators that there is no access to guns at the home. Second defendant convicted in human trafficking sexual assault case in Fond du Lac When authorities questioned the student, the student reportedly stated that they were upset following a recent interaction with a teacher and did not intend to act on the threat. We recognize that some parents and community members were concerned about the lack of immediate information. It's important to understand that when a threat of this nature is received, numerous steps must be taken behind the scenes to ensure the safety of students and staff. The school was placed in a 'hold' as a precaution while law enforcement worked to assess and manage the situation. The Germantown Police Department wants to reassure the community that we take all threats seriously and investigate them thoroughly and swiftly. Our detectives worked diligently and continuously to identify the individual responsible and bring this investigation to a swift resolution. We would like to thank the Germantown School District, staff at Kennedy Middle School, the student's family, Washington County Sheriff's Department, and all others who assisted in this investigation. Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated. Chief Patrick J. Merten, Germantown Police Department A referral for the charge of terroristic threats is being submitted to the Washington County Juvenile Intake. No additional information was provided.
