Mobley was joined on the second team by Jalen Brunson, Steph Curry, Anthony Edwards and James — his 21st consecutive season being named to an All-NBA team.
Mitchell and Mobley became the third pair of Cavs teammates to earn All-NBA honors in the same season, joining James and Kyrie Irving in 2014-15 and Price and Brad Daugherty in 1992-93.

NFL Insider Drops Bombshell Aaron Rodgers-Pittsburgh Steelers Update

NFL Insider Drops Bombshell Aaron Rodgers-Pittsburgh Steelers Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Most NFL reporters have been under the impression for weeks that four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers has told the Pittsburgh Steelers verbally that he intends to play for them in 2025. Advertisement Rodgers' personal biographer Ian O'Connor even said as much last month during an interview with 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. 'I just think verbally, behind the scenes, not that he guaranteed it, but he's told [the Steelers], 'Listen, I'm going to play for you. I just don't want to go there and then miss part of mandatory minicamp because of my personal issues. I'm pretty sure they're going to be solved by the end of May, at least in my satisfaction where I can give you my all,'' O'Connor said. Many believe the Steelers' passing on multiple quarterbacks in the first few rounds of the 2025 NFL draft before selecting Ohio State's Will Howard in the sixth round was a clear sign they believe Rodgers gave them that verbal confirmation he'll be there come next season. New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (8) and Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin (right).Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images However, during a recent appearance on the 'Rich Eisen Show,' NFL Network's Tom Pelissero recently reported that isn't exactly the case. Advertisement 'I have been told that he has not affirmatively told the Steelers that he's coming,' Pelissero said. 'Certainly all the indications, if you look at it logically, are that he's coming based on his comments about, 'There's a team that plays in Chicago (this year) that I might play for,' 'I'm not playing in New Orleans.' 'He took one visit, he's been throwing with DK Metcalf, he talks all the time with (head coach) Mike Tomlin, I know he's talked with (offensive coordinator) Arthur Smith. There's all these signs that he's coming but he's not affirmatively said, 'Hey, June 9, book me the ticket, I'm coming in and I'm going to join this team.' That has not happened as of this point.' Rodgers announced on the 'Pat McAfee Show' that he's been dealing with matters in his personal life that have prevented him from 100% committing to the Steelers right now. Advertisement But because Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has shown his willingness to wait on Rodgers, some analysts believe the 41-year-old QB could be taking advantage of the situation. 'Yes, they're operating as if the guy is going to be there, but every day that goes by, you just have that sense of A- what's the holdup? Why does it have to be like this?' Pelissero continued. 'And B- is it possible that one of the most unique people in the NFL in the modern era ends up making a unique U-turn at the end of this thing?' Brooklyn Nets jersey history No. 15 - Chris Gatling (1997-99)

Brooklyn Nets jersey history No. 15 - Chris Gatling (1997-99) The Brooklyn Nets have 52 jersey numbers worn by over 600 different players over the course of their history since the franchise was founded in 1967 as a charter member of the American Basketball Association (ABA), when the team was known as the "New Jersey Americans". Since then, that league has been absorbed by the NBA with the team that would later become the New York Nets and New Jersey Nets before settling on the name by which they are known today, bringing their rich player and jersey history with them to the league of today. To commemorate the players who played for the Nets over the decades wearing those 52 different jersey numbers, Nets Wire is covering the entire history of the franchise's jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. The 17th of those 52 different numbers is jersey No. 15 which has has had a total of 14 players wear the number in the history of the team. The 10th of those players wearing No. 15 played in the (then) New Jersey (now, Brooklyn) Nets era, big man alum Chris Gatling. After ending his college career at Old Dominion, Gatling was picked up with the 16th overall selection of the 1991 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. The Elizabeth, New Jersey native also played for the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks before he was traded to New Jersey in 1997. His stay with the team would span parts of three seasons, coming to an end when he was dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks in 1999. During his time suiting up for the Nets, Gatling wore only jersey No. 15 and put up 10.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. All stats and data courtesy of Basketball Reference.

Wayne Gretzky Names Greatest Basketball Player of All Time

Social media can tend to be a disaster when it comes to debating almost anything, right down to something relatively innocent, like "hot dogs vs. hamburgers." That notion is particularly true any time the topic of "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time) comes up. Advertisement Whether it's in regard to the greatest rapper of all time—the Tupac/Biggie debate will likely never end—or the greatest athlete of all time, it's kind of become a continuous carousel of noise where no one really ever changes their mind. One of the most common debates that can be found on a daily, nearly hourly basis is whether or not LeBron James has surpassed Michael Jordan as the NBA's quintessential "GOAT." Michael Jordan and LeBron James shake hands during the 2022 NBA All-Star Game as part of NBA All Star Weekend on February 20, 2022. Jesse D. Garrabrant/Getty Images For topics that typically end up getting as heated as the LeBron vs. MJ "conversation," sometimes it might make the most sense to lean on the big guns for a definitive declaration. And who better than hockey royalty like Wayne Gretzky—quite literally known as "The Great One"—to put a very clear stamp on said debate? Advertisement So, during a recent appearance on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, Gretzky was asked for his opinion on that very topic. "Well the NBA's pretty easy," Gretzky casually stated. "Twenty-three, that one's pretty easy, right." While James and Jordan both stake claim to No. 23, Travis quickly confirmed by saying, "Mike, yeah," seemingly to prevent any kind of confusion before moving on. Now, while this is just Gretzky's opinion, the beauty of the great No. 99 throwing his opinion into the often tense NBA "GOAT" conversation is that it's offered up a brand new layer to the social media chatter, as basketball fans can now begin debating as to whether or not Wayne Gretzky is right or wrong. Advertisement The four-time Stanley Cup champion went on to discuss the greatest to ever do it in each of the other major sports—MLB, NFL and NHL—and did not name himself when it came to the hockey "GOAT" even though there are many sports fans out there who deem him as such.
